Chapter 11 - Fake video went viral

Kabir said to Veer, "It means we all can be wrong, but so far, what you know is the same as what I know."

Veer replied, "Okay."

After talking with Mr. Nakul about a topic for some time, Grandpa, Kabir, and Veer sat in the machine and returned to their original multiverse.

Once back in their multiverse, Dr. Devendra and Sandeep hugged Kabir, Grandpa, and Veer. Kabir, in excitement, said, "We did it!" Dr. Devendra asked, "So, how was it traveling from one multiverse to another? Did you feel any glitches?" Kabir replied, "No, everything went smoothly."

Sandeep asked, "Grandpa, how was the multiverse?" Grandpa replied, "It was beautiful!" Veer added, "And the other multiverse was so amazing that it's hard to explain."

Kabir called Mr. Kant and informed him, "We've successfully created the multiverse travel machine." Mr. Kant congratulated Kabir and the team, saying, "I'm very happy. I'm proud of you and your team."

Mahira also arrived at the multiverse lab and congratulated the entire team. She held a meeting, discussed multiverse concepts with everyone, and boosted their morale.

Around 8:30 PM, Kabir and Mahira sat in the car to head home. Mahira was driving. She asked Kabir, "So, we succeeded?" Kabir replied, "I'm sorry." Mahira asked, "For what?" Kabir said, "I couldn't keep my promise." Mahira asked, "Which promise?" Kabir replied, "To spend time with family."

Mahira playfully said, "Then you'll have to be punished for breaking the promise." Kabir responded, "I'm ready to face any punishment, Princess Mahira. Whatever punishment you decide, I'll accept it." Saying this, Kabir moved closer to kiss Mahira. She stopped him, saying, "Not now, I'm driving." Kabir suggested, "Then put it on autopilot mode."

Mahira said, "No, your punishment is NO KISS." Kabir protested, "What kind of punishment is this?" Mahira replied, "Didn't you just say you'd accept any punishment?" Kabir sighed, "Alright!" and sat back in his seat.

By 9 PM, Kabir and Mahira reached home. When Sophie saw Kabir, she ran to him, and Kabir lifted her in his arms.

Sophie said, "Dad, I'm mad at you." Kabir asked, "But why, dear?" Sophie said, "You promised you'd visit me every day, but you didn't come." Kabir replied, "That's because Dad was busy saving the world. That's why I couldn't make time." Sophie asked, "Like Superman?" Kabir smiled and said, "Yes, like Superman."

Sophie exclaimed, "You're Superman!" Kabir replied, "Just like you're Supergirl, Dad is Superman." Sophie cheered, "Yay! Dad is Superman!" Saying this, she got down from his arms and ran to her mom.

Kabir then went to his mother and touched her feet. She blessed him, and they chatted for a while. Just then, the servant announced that dinner was ready, and everyone gathered to eat.

The next morning, around 7 AM, Sandeep sent a video to Kabir. In the video, Kabir was saying, "Traveling to the multiverse is no longer a big deal. Anyone can now travel to the multiverse, and those who don't wish to live in this universe can live in another. I've traveled to the multiverse multiple times, and soon, we'll make this technology public."

As Kabir finished watching the video, Sandeep called. "Kabir, did you see the video?" Sandeep asked. Kabir replied, "Yes, I saw it, but it's fake." Sandeep said, "Even if it's fake, it's going viral quickly, and the information in it is true."

Kabir said, "People have too much free time." Sandeep replied, "You'll need to make a statement clarifying that the video is fake." Kabir said, "I'll handle it."

The video wasn't just viral on Earth; it had reached Mars as well. Mr. Kant called Kabir from Mars and said, "Kabir, I saw a video. Is that you?"

Kabir replied, "It's a fake video made to mislead people." Mr. Kant said, "But the information is true. Has someone leaked the news?"

Kabir replied, "It's probably just someone's imagination. They might've seen my documentary." Mr. Kant asked, "Which documentary?" Kabir replied, "Multiverse: The Next Home." Mr. Kant said, "Listen, Kabir, I've invested a lot of money into this project, and you know no businessman likes losses."

Kabir said, "Yes, Mr. Kant." Mr. Kant continued, "Issue a statement that this isn't possible yet, that the video is fake, and multiverse travel is still under development. I don't want anyone to know about this until the project is finalized. This project isn't like Mars travel, which requires significant expenses. If someone gets hold of the technology, they can create it in a closed room and travel to the multiverse, which isn't acceptable. We're the ones investing, so we should be the ones earning."

Kabir said, "Yes, Mr. Kant. I agree." Mr. Kant said, "Good, solve this matter. I'll hang up now." And the call ended.

The video sparked debates among people and the media. Multiple channels started hosting discussions on the multiverse.

Some people dismissed it as fake, claiming the multiverse didn't exist, while others discussed its benefits and drawbacks. Philosophers, religious figures, and scientists engaged in heated debates.

Around 8 AM, a channel aired a debate on the topic featuring the scientist Venky, who said, "What's being claimed in the video isn't possible yet; it's just a fake video. If anything like this becomes possible, we'll inform you. Don't trust such videos or audios."

A philosopher added, "If there's a multiverse where another version of me exists, doesn't that raise the question of whether I am the real me or just a copy? Am I the original, or is the other version the copy? This also brings up the question of whether the concept of the soul applies here. Can a single soul exist in two or more places at once?"

This question left everyone stunned. Some argued that we are like computers and there's no such thing as a soul. A spiritual guru remarked, "Everything originates from one and ultimately merges into that one. The question isn't about multiple souls but about the ultimate truth."

A scientist commented, "If there are two or more versions of me in different multiverses, who among them is the real me? What is my identity?" A philosopher said, "If another version of me exists in another multiverse, it implies that consciousness can be copied."

This reignited the question: if multiple versions of me were to stand together, which one is the real me, given that we all share the same consciousness? Such debates continued across the media…

Kabir called a media channel and said, "I am ready for the interview."
