Chapter 15 - IIT's Students

Kabir asked to call the IIT Mumbai students for a meeting. Mr. Venky called the students and invited them to the USRC office for a discussion. Hearing the name "USRC," the students became very excited and came to the office the next day.

Kabir and the Multiverse Project team met with the students, who were thrilled by the invitation. Among the three students, two were boys and one was a girl. They introduced themselves as Jeeva, Raghav, and Payal. Kabir first arranged some refreshments for them and began casual conversations about their backgrounds, sharing a bit about himself too. Until that moment, Kabir hadn't asked them about their project. He believed in making others feel comfortable first to extract valuable information.

After the refreshments, the students felt so at ease with Kabir and the team that it seemed like they had known each other for years.

Kabir finally asked, "How did you come up with the idea to create such a device?"

Jeeva shared the story behind the idea: "One night, I had a beautiful dream. It was so real and stunning that it inspired my career. In the dream, I had a gorgeous girlfriend—something I don't have in real life," Jeeva said with a smile.

Mr. Sandeep replied, "What's new about that? Most people have such dreams." Jeeva explained, "You're right, but this one was different. I kissed her, and we did other things I can't describe here. The dream was so vivid that it still feels real. For me, it wasn't just a dream; it felt like reality."

Jeeva continued, "I told Raghav about the dream. He brushed it off, saying dreams like this happen. But I insisted that the girl was purely my imagination—someone I had never seen before. She was so beautiful that I wished I could show her to Raghav."

Raghav then suggested, "What if we create a device that could record dreams and imaginations as videos so we could watch them later?" This idea sparked their interest.

Jeeva researched the concept and found companies working on similar projects. However, their technology wasn't advanced enough to create high-quality videos.

Raghav displayed a video on the projector, and Kabir asked, "Was this video really created from imagination?" Payal confirmed, "Yes, sir. It's my imagination, converted into video using our device."

Kabir was amazed, saying, "This is mind-blowing technology."

Jeeva resumed, "After that, Raghav and I became passionate about the project, and Payal joined us a few days later."

Kabir cautioned, "But do you realize how dangerous this could be? It could be used to manipulate people's lives."

Payal replied, "Sir, AI can also ruin lives, but I assure you this technology will revolutionize imagination and innovation."

Raghav added, "This technology has immense potential for the future."

Mr. Devendra interjected, "You could be wrong." Jeeva responded, "Perhaps, but abandoning the project out of fear would be a mistake. This startup is going to bring about a revolution."

Kabir said, "I could use the CBAYO app for this." Jeeva replied, "Sir, that has limitations. With our device, all you need is imagination. For example, even if you don't know how to paint, you can imagine yourself painting, and the device will create the artwork."

Kabir asked to test the device. Payal set it up for him, and Kabir imagined a creature that doesn't exist in the real world. Others also used the device. When Kabir saw the video of his imagination, he was stunned, as were the others.

Kabir praised the product and asked to purchase a few units and invest in the startup. Raghav explained that they had already secured funding but would approach Kabir first in the future if needed.

Kabir asked, "Is this the final product?" Payal replied, "No, sir, it still has some flaws."

Kabir assured them of his support and requested two pieces of the device. Payal provided them, mentioning that they were working on updates.

As the students were leaving, Veer entered the USRC office and went to the Multiverse lab. Kabir proposed a new idea: creating a world with no humans, full of greenery and beauty. He suggested designing a machine that connects to imagination and travels to the imagined multiverse. Veer questioned, "What if the imagined multiverse doesn't exist?" Kabir explained, "Then the machine won't work. But I believe the multiverse has infinite possibilities."

Kabir handed Veer the RID device to practice imagining such a world. Veer used the device and created a world with no humans, only plants and animals. The imagined world, converted into a video, was breathtakingly beautiful.

Veer was awestruck by the RID and exclaimed, "This is mind-blowing!"

Kabir explained the story behind the device and asked Veer to practice imagining a world suitable for shifting people from this planet.

Kabir said, "To imagine that world, practice with this RID. Meanwhile, we'll make some modifications to the machine. Remember, you need to imagine a world with no humans, a good environment, and everything in proper order so that we can shift people from this world to that one."

Veer replied, "Why do I need to practice imagining such a world? I can normally imagine it." Standing nearby, Mr. Devendra said, "No, we cannot take that risk. If you practice, your chances of entering that world will be much higher."

Veer agreed, and for the next few days, he repeatedly imagined that universe using the device. The Multiverse Project Team started implementing the necessary changes to the machine.

In just a few days, the work on the multiverse traveling machine was completed. Now it was time to test the machine. Veer was connected to the multiverse traveling machine, and he began imagining that universe. Kabir sat in the second seat. Suddenly, some numbers on the machine's screen started fluctuating.
