Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 {Mercy}

Isabella stood outside the rain dropped down her shoulders and dumped her black hair. She clenched her jaw she had already shut down her heart. From here on out what is the point to show kindness to those who just use you? Isabella stepped forward and she started to walk away from the Frost Mansion.

The rain continued to fall as she walked, each drop hitting her skin like a cold reminder of the harsh reality she now faced.

She could feel the weight of her situation bearing down on her - no family, no home, and nowhere to go. But she also felt a sense of determination growing inside her - she was done being treated like garbage by those who were supposed to love her.

As she walked, the sound of her footsteps echoed in her ears. She tried to push down the pain and fear that was threatening to overwhelm her.

She had no idea where she was going or what she would do next - but one thing was certain: she was never going back to the Frost Mansion. She would rather die than go back there.

As she walked, the rain grew heavier and colder. Isabella shivered as it soaked through her clothes and chilled her to the bone.

She was tired, hungry and still in pain from the beating she had received earlier. But she refused to give up. She would find somewhere safe to stay - even if it meant sleeping outside.

The rain continued to fall, and Isabella found herself standing in front of an old, abandoned building. It was run down and looked like it hadn't been occupied in years.

She hesitated for a moment before pushing open the door and stepping inside.

The building was dark and musty. The air was thick with dust and the smell of decay. Isabella walked further inside, her footsteps echoing through the empty space.

She looked around, taking in her surroundings - broken furniture, shattered glass and graffiti on the walls.

There was a twenty year old woman who was also staying there she had red hair and hazel eyes. She smiled at Isabella who was indifferent.

Isabella looked at the woman with a cold, indifferent expression. She was tired and hungry, but she didn't want to show any weakness.

"What are you doing here?" The red-haired woman asked curiously.

Isabella just shrugged she sat down and the red hair woman notice that Isabella was chubby no fat but she didn't seem to mind.

"My name is Mercy."

Isabella nodded in acknowledgment but didn't offer her own name. She sat down on the floor, still feeling cold and wet from the rain.

Mercy looked at Isabella with a sympathetic expression.

"You look like you've been through hell," she said softly.

Isabella didn't respond. She just sat there silently, trying to process everything that had happened to her in the past few hours. The cold and wet clothes clung to her skin, making her shiver even more.

Mercy noticed Isabella's state and got up, walking over to a small storage closet. She opened it and pulled out two blankets, handing one to Isabella.

"I know you are bigger then me so my jacket won't fit but this blanket will due."

Isabella took the blanket from Mercy, wrapping it around herself tightly.

She mumbled a small "thank you" as she began to warm up a bit.

"You're bigger but that doesn't matter," Mercy said kindly.

"Everyone deserves warmth."

Mercy looked at Isabella carefully noticing bruises on Isabella's arms.

"What happened?"

Isabella eyes became ice cold.

"None of your business," Isabella said in a cold breath.

Mercy's expression softened as she saw the bruises on Isabella's arms. She could tell that something bad had happened to her.

"I'm sorry," Mercy said gently.

"I didn't mean to pry."

She sat down next to Isabella, making sure to keep a respectful distance.

Isabella flinched slightly as Mercy sat down next to her. She was still feeling raw and vulnerable from everything that had happened.

"It's fine," she mumbled quietly, keeping her gaze fixed on the ground.

Mercy could see the bruises on her arms more clearly now and she felt a pang of sympathy for the girl.

"Big Sis, even though you are bigger your eyes are so beautiful," Mercy said she held out some food for Isabella who looked at her and she eat the food. Isabella has since stopped caring about human emotions her birth mother has always told her to never show emotions or allow anyone to see her talent until she was strong enough to protect herself. Her eyes landed on Mercy again. Big sis huh when did she become big sis?

Isabella felt a pang of sadness as she heard Mercy's words. She has never been someone who her family cared about her. They always saw her as a disgusting pig, who should be thrown away and she was a disgrace to the family.

As for being called "big sis" it made Isabella feel strange. She never had younger siblings who called her that her stepsisters are just selfish. So hearing that felt uncomfortable to her but didn't complain.

Isabella finished eating the food that Mercy had given her. It was the first real meal she had in days and it filled her stomach but not her heart.

She sat there in silence for a few moments before speaking up.

"Why are you being so nice to me?" she asked quietly.

"Because Big Sis is so awesome and something tells me you are a bad ass."

Isabella drink the water she became cold and indifferent again she wrapped the blacked around her large body and she closed her eyes she touched her stomach. Don't worry mommy will be fine.'

As Isabella closed her eyes and wrapped the blanket around herself, she felt a strange sensation in her stomach. It was almost as if something within her was stirring.

She placed a hand on her abdomen, feeling the subtle movement beneath it. As the realization sank in, Isabella's eyes widened. She couldn't believe what she was feeling. The cold indifference faded away as her hand continued to rest on her stomach.

Isabella smiled she knew they are four little babies who are going to come out to this world she must be the best mother in the world. She nodded to herself.

As she thought about her unborn babies, Isabella felt a newfound determination and strength within herself. She knew that she had to protect them at all costs.

She glanced over at Mercy who was sleeping quietly nearby. The thought of having someone to care for and protect gave Isabella a sense of purpose.

Isabella suddenly jolted awake, her heart racing. She realized that she had fallen asleep while sitting against the wall. She looked she found it was light out. Now it's light she can see Mercy clearly her red hair was like a burning flame. Her eyes were ice beautiful hazel she was truly rare supermodel.

Isabella couldn't help but stare at Mercy - she was absolutely gorgeous. Her red hair cascaded down her shoulders like a fiery waterfall, and her eyes were like jewels. She had a slender figure that any supermodel would envy.

Isabella felt a pang of jealousy in her chest - why did someone so beautiful have to be homeless?

Isabella couldn't take her eyes off of Mercy. The girl was like a work of art - flawless skin, perfect features, and an air of elegance that seemed almost otherworldly.

As Isabella continued to stare at her, she couldn't help but feel envious. Why was someone so beautiful living on the streets?

Mercy chuckled softly at Isabella's gaze, sensing her jealousy.

"You're not the first person to stare," she said with a smile.

"But trust me, being beautiful doesn't make life any easier."

She gestured for Isabella to sit down on an old couch nearby.

"Big sis don't you want to know why I run away?" Mercy asked Isabella who honestly didn't want to nor did he cared.

Isabella shrugged again, her eyes blank and emotionless. She was tired and cold and all she wanted to do was sleep.

Mercy took a seat beside Isabella, undeterred by her indifference.

"I'm going to take that as a 'no'," she said with a small smile.

"But I am going to tell you anyway, I ran away because my parents told me the outside world is far to dangerous mom and dad are most likely worried but it's alright."

Isabella raised an eyebrow at Mercy's words, her expression still unreadable.

"You ran away because your parents told you the outside world is dangerous?" she repeated, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Mercy nodded, her expression softening even more.

"It's okay," she said softly.

"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to."

She handed Isabella a blanket and wrapped one around herself as well.

"But just so you know, the outside world isn't all bad."
