Isabella found a place to stay it was outside Los Angeles the place she stayed at wasn't beautiful she had a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, air conditioner, and a laundry room. It was perfect for Isabella her eyes were closed she touched her chubby cheeks and she sighed.
As Isabella settled into her new place, she couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. For the first time in a long time, she felt safe and secure.
She walked over to the window and looked out at the city skyline. The only person she would miss in the Frost Family is her twin brother Victor other then that she didn't care about the other family members.
As the sun set, Isabella found herself lying on her bed, feeling both exhausted and restless at the same time.
She couldn't stop thinking about Mercy. Her kind eyes and warm smile had stayed with her all day. She wondered how she was doing, and if she had reached home safely.
Isabella didn't care to much about anyone but she knew she needed to make some money. She sat up as she crossed her chubby legs she groaned as she started to type on the computer and holographic screen appeared in front of her. She made numerous code programs.
As Isabella worked on her computer, she was completely focused and immersed in the task at hand. The sound of keys clicking echoed through the room as she typed away, creating code after code.
Time seemed to fly by as she worked, her eyes scanning the screen intently. She was so engrossed in her work that she didn't even notice how late it had gotten.
As the night wore on, Isabella's eyes began to feel heavy. She rubbed them with a sigh and leaned back in her chair, stretching her arms above her head.
She glanced over at the clock on the wall and realized it was already late. She had been working for hours without realizing it.
Isabella yawned as she stood up she took a shower and put on her oversized comfortable pajamas she only had her clothes which were inside her suitcase.
Isabella stepped out of the shower, feeling clean and refreshed. She slipped into her oversized pajamas, relishing in their comfortable softness.
She walked over to her bed and climbed under the covers, sighing as she felt the cool sheets against her skin.
Isabella heard a knock. For Isabella overweight body the bed was somewhat small. She moved around she feared that she would break her new bed. She stood up from her bed and walked toward the door. She saw two middle age couple. Noel the woman and Koda her husband.
"Hello dear you are knew here these a cookies for you."
"Thank you," Isabella muttered she closed the door she frowned that's odd she wasn't use of people being kind to her only her brother Victor and the friend she meant at the shade.
Isabella took the cookies from Noel and muttered a soft thank you. She closed the door and looked down at the cookies in her hand.
She wasn't used to people being kind to her, especially strangers. Growing up with an abusive family had left its mark on her, making it hard for her to trust others.
But there was something about Noel that seemed genuine, like she really just wanted to be kind.
Isabella walked over to the small kitchen and placed the cookies on the counter. She looked at them for a moment, debating whether or not to eat one.
She knew she shouldn't. She had been trying to lose weight and eating sweets would only set her back. But they smelled so good…and Noel seemed like such a nice person. In truth Isabella started to gain weight when her stepmother forced her to take unknown pills making her fat, and dull.
Isabella opened the package and ate a cookie. She savored the taste. The flavor exploded in her mouth. It was sweet but not too sweet.
Isabella took a bite of the cookie and let out a soft moan as the flavor hit her tongue. It was so good, even better than she had expected.
She quickly finished off the first cookie and reached for another one, devouring it just as quickly. The sweetness of the treat was like nothing she had ever tasted before.
Isabella decided to bake cupcakes for the couple. She felt like kindness should be paid back and she dislike the idea of owning people something.
Isabella spent the next few hours in her small kitchen, mixing ingredients and baking cupcakes. She was determined to make something as delicious as the cookies Noel had given her.
As she worked, she couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment. It was strange for her to be feeling this way, especially considering her past experiences. But there was something about baking that made her happy.
After hours of work, the cupcakes were finally ready. They looked perfect, with a golden brown crust and a sweet scent that filled the room.
Isabella took one out and bit into it, savoring the taste. It was even better than she had hoped for.
"Mmm delicious," Isabella mutters as she touched her chubby cheeks she decided to give these cupcakes to Noel and Koda tomorrow she was tired.
Isabella placed the cupcakes in a box and set it aside. She was tired from baking but she felt satisfied with her work.
She climbed back into bed and snuggled under the covers. The sound of crickets outside lulled her to sleep.
The next day Isabella woke up early she walked toward the door she saw Noel holding two cups of coffee and some pastries. Isabella was shocked by their kindness.
Isabella opened the door and saw Noel standing there, holding two cups of coffee and a bag of pastries. The sight made her feel warm inside.
Noel smiled at her, her eyes filled with kindness.
"Good morning," she said softly.
"I brought you some breakfast."
"Thank you Miss…?" Isabella looked at Noel. She smiled kindly at Isabella.
"You can call me Auntie Noel," the woman replied, her voice gentle and warm. She held out one of the cups of coffee to Isabella.
"And I brought you some pastries too. They're still warm."
"Thank you auntie Noel." Isabella took the coffee and pastries.
"May I ask why you are so kind?"
Noel chuckled softly as she handed the other cup of coffee to Isabella. She leaned against the doorframe, her expression soft.
"Because everyone deserves kindness," she said simply.
"And I can tell that you need it."
"I need kindness?"
"Of course honestly you look so young to be out on your own dear, we have a daughter she is eighteen years old in college goes to UCLA but you seem like you dislike being around people and don't want other to get close to you," Noel said. Isabella frowned slightly.
Isabella felt a pang of guilt at Noel's words. She knew she had always been distant and cold towards others, but hearing it spoken aloud made her feel uncomfortable.
She shifted awkwardly in her seat, not sure how to respond.
"I just… I prefer being alone," she said quietly.
"Dear there is more to life then being alone," Noel said.
"I need anyone," Isabella bluntly she didn't want to relay on anyone nor did she care about anyone else aside from her brother, Mercy, and her four unborn babies.
Noel looked at Isabella with a sympathetic expression, sensing the pain and loneliness that lay beneath her blunt exterior. She sat down on the edge of the bed next to her.
"It's okay to need someone," she said gently.
"Everyone does at some point in their lives."
"Oh yes these cupcakes are for you," Isabella said coldly. Noel chuckled she can sense this little girl dislike owning people anything but these cupcakes smell so good.
Noel took the box of cupcakes from Isabella and opened it, her mouth watering at the sight and smell.
"These look delicious," she said with a smile.
"Did you make them yourself?"
"Yes it's nothing," Isabella said.
"You made these? It looks like a professional made these cupcakes the designs as well, oh! Dear you should work at a bakery store."
"No thanks," Isabella said that just sounds annoying.
Noel chuckled softly at Isabella's response. She could sense the girl's independent streak.
"You don't like the idea of working in a bakery?" she asked, taking a bite of one of the cupcakes.
"These are really good," she added, savoring the sweetness on her tongue.
