**Slan Empire.**
The majestic gates of the Noah Empire Academy stood towering before her.
Niya looked up at the imposing academy gates, finally taking a deep breath.
"At last, I've made it," she thought to herself, feeling a wave of exhaustion.
Today was the eve of the new students' arrival.
All first-year students were required to arrive at the academy a day early to complete their accommodation procedures and collect their belongings.
Niya placed her luggage in a cooler spot near the school gate, planning to rest for a while before heading to the registration area.
The physical constitution of the original owner was far inferior to her own, and she still hadn't adapted.
Despite the mild spring weather, the sunlight was still intense today. Coupled with her arrival in a new place and her confused thoughts, she hadn't had enough rest these past two days, and her condition was deteriorating.
Now that she had finally arrived at her destination, her spirits relaxed, and a wave of discomfort washed over her body.
She had been too careless.
It was bad luck to have switched bodies upon her first time in a new body.
Niya, originally an ordinary college student, had the misfortune of being selected by a criminal who broke into a store and committed robbery while working a part-time job one weekend night.
Of the few employees present, she was unfortunately chosen by the criminal and became a hostage.
Worse still, that criminal was utterly insane.
When the police arrived quickly, realizing he had no chance of escape, he "incidentally" stabbed her several times before committing suicide.
"Why do you want to live if you don't want to? Why drag me along?" Niya felt anger and confusion inside.
Just when she thought she was about to go to heaven, she woke up to find herself in an unfamiliar room, with the scars on her body gone.
She sat on the bed, dazed, when suddenly a line of bright red blood-red words appeared out of nowhere: End the apocalypse, and you can return to your original world.
What did this mean?
Apocalypse?
Had she been transported to a different world?
Could this be the system often mentioned in time-travel novels?
Niya's heart was filled with panic. She tried to communicate with this unknown entity, hoping to obtain more information, but apart from that one sentence, there was no other response.
Everything felt too bizarre.
Left with no other choice, she had to rely on herself.
Soon, through a sudden influx of strange memories in her mind, she understood one thing—
It seemed she really had traveled through time! And she had arrived in the body of a person with the same name and appearance!
For someone who thought they were already dead, discovering that they were not only alive but had traveled through time should have been exciting, but Niya couldn't bring herself to feel that way.
Because that sentence revealed a crucial piece of information: the world she was in was the aftermath of an apocalypse.
Why was it an apocalypse?
She didn't want to be eaten by zombies!
At that moment, she felt an urge to try and commit suicide to see if she could travel back or to another world.
Perhaps due to a delay in receiving information or some other reason, only a small part of the original owner's memories were available to her, and what she knew was that the original owner shared her name and gender.
Of course, it was a case of a woman disguising herself as a man.
She didn't know the exact reason, but as far as she knew, her current parents had adopted her and changed her name from Niya to Abby.
From that day on, she had lived as a boy.
That was all Niya knew about her first day in this world as Abby.
Over the next two days, Abby would wake up every day to receive some of the original owner's memories. Coupled with her own cautious inquiries to her family members, she slowly began to piece together her current situation.
It was undoubtedly the post-apocalyptic world she had imagined.
Fortunately, after many years of zombie outbreaks, their world had undergone great changes.
High-level psychics had led the surviving humans to establish an empire, creating a perfect social system and defense system against zombies, allowing humanity to survive and reproduce in relative peace within their territories.
