Chapter 15 - office

After their wonderful evening at the theater, Devyansh became deeply immersed in his business responsibilities. The demands of his CEO position in Raigarh's branch often consumed his time and energy, leaving him frustrated and short-tempered, especially when his employees failed to meet his high expectations.

Days turned into a week, and Devyansh had not spoken to Ananya. The lack of communication gnawed at him, intensifying his frustration. His anger grew, and he found himself shouting at his employees and even firing a few for their incompetence.

Meanwhile, Ananya, noticed the silence from Devyansh. Concerned for him, she decided to visit his office and surprise him with lunch she had prepared herself.

Arriving at the grand building of Devyansh's company, Ananya walked up to the reception desk. "Hello, main Devyansh se milne aayi hoon. Kya aap bata sakti hain unka office kahan hai?" she asked the receptionist.

The receptionist, a young woman with a polite smile, replied, "Ma'am, aapko appointment lena padega. Bina appointment ke milna mushkil hai."

Ananya, not wanting to give up, requested, "Kya aap unke PA ko bula sakti hain? Main unse milna chahti hoon."

The receptionist made a quick call, and within minutes, Devyansh's PA, aditya, came down to meet her. "Good afternoon, ma'am. Main aapko Devyansh sir ke office le chalta hoon," he said, leading her towards the elevators.

As they approached Devyansh's office, Ananya heard him shouting inside. "Ye kaam kab hoga? Kitni baar samjhaana padega!" His voice was loud and filled with anger. Moments later, a couple of employees exited his office, looking distressed.

"Mam mujhe lagta hai ki apko abhi andar nahi jana chahiye" Aditya said.

Ignoring Rajiv's hesitation, Ananya walked straight to Devyansh's office door and entered without knocking. Devyansh, still fuming and not looking up, barked, "Aditya, Maine kaha tha na ki koi bhi bina permission ke andar nahi aayega!"

"Dev," Ananya called out softly, her voice filled with warmth and concern.

Hearing her voice, Devyansh's head shot up in surprise. Seeing Ananya standing there, holding a lunch box, he felt his anger dissipate instantly. He stood up from his chair and moved towards her, his expression softening.

"Ananya," he said, his voice now gentle and filled with relief. He pulled her into a tight embrace, holding her as if afraid to let go. The scent of her perfume filled his senses, calming him further. "Tum yahan kaise?" he asked, his voice muffled against her hair.

"Main tumhare liye lunch le kar aayi hoon. Socha tumhe surprise karoon," Ananya replied, wrapping her arms around him.

Devyansh pulled back slightly to look at her, his eyes filled with gratitude. "Tumhe pata hai, tumhare bina sab kuch kitna mushkil lagta hai," he admitted, brushing a strand of hair from her face.

"Tumne mujhe call bhi nahi kiya ek hafte se. Main chinta kar rahi thi," Ananya said, her eyes filled with concern.

Devyansh sighed, "I know. Mujhe maaf kar do, Ananya. Kaam mein itna busy ho gaya tha, aur koi apna kam accha sa kar bhi nhi raha hai, unhi sab mai frustrating ho gaya tha."

Ananya placed her hand on his cheek, "It's okay, Dev. Main yahan hoon. Tumhare saath sab theek ho jayega, ap itni tension na liya kare."

Devyansh smiled, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders. "Tum ho toh sab theek ho jata hai," he said softly. "Chalo, lunch karte hain."

They sat down at his office table, and Ananya unpacked the lunch she had prepared. The aroma of the home-cooked food filled the room, making Devyansh's mouth water. "Aapke haath ka khana," he said with a grin, "Apko khana bhi bana na bhi ata hai, Humai to pta hi nhi tha."

Ananya laughed, "Toh aaj tumhare liye kuch special banaya hai. Hope tumhe pasand aaye."

They ate together, talking and laughing, and for the first time in days, Devyansh felt truly relaxed. Ananya's presence had a magical effect on him, soothing his anger and filling him with a sense of peace and contentment.

After their heartfelt lunch, Devyansh, feeling lighter and happier, didn't want Ananya to leave just yet. "Ananya, please mere saath thodi der aur ruk jao," he requested, his eyes reflecting his earnest desire to spend more time with her.

Ananya smiled, "Theek hai, Dev. Hum yahin hai."

Devyansh returned to his desk and resumed his work, while Ananya explored his office. She admired the elegant decor, the large windows offering a stunning view of the city, and the bookshelf lined with various books. She picked one up, found a comfortable spot on the sofa opposite his desk, and started reading.

As time passed. Ananya's attention drifted from the book to Devyansh. She watched him work, admiring his dedication and the intensity with which he handled his responsibilities. His sharp features were softened by concentration, and she felt a surge of affection for him.

Devyansh, sensing her gaze, looked up from his work and met her eyes. A tender smile played on his lips as he saw the admiration in her eyes. "Ananya," he called softly, "idhar aao."

Ananya felt a magnetic pull in his voice, almost hypnotized. She closed the book and walked towards him, her heart beating faster. When she reached his desk, he extended his hand, and she took it hesitantly.

"Come sit in my lap" Devyansh said, his voice gentle yet commanding.

Ananya blushed, feeling shy and unsure. "Dev, main... main ase kaise baithun?" she stammered.

Devyansh's grip on her hand tightened slightly, reassuring her. "Trust me, Ananya. Main tumhe apne kareeb chahta hoon."

Reluctantly, she allowed him to pull her closer until she was perched on his lap. Her heart raced as they stared into each other's eyes, the world around them fading into oblivion. Devyansh's arms wrapped around her waist, holding her securely.

He leaned in slowly, his eyes never leaving hers, and pressed his lips to hers in a sweet, lingering kiss. The kiss was gentle and tender, filled with the unspoken emotions they both felt. Ananya's hands found their way to his shoulders, clutching them for support as she melted into the kiss.

Devyansh's lips moved softly against hers, taking his time to savor the moment. The sweetness of the kiss made Ananya's heart flutter, and she responded with equal tenderness. The kiss deepened, their emotions blending seamlessly as they held each other close.

"Ananya," Devyansh murmured against her lips "Apka pyaar mujhe hamesha shant kar deta hai."

Ananya smiled, her fingers gently tracing the lines of his jaw. "Aur apka pyaar mujhe hamesha surakshit mehsoos karwata hai."

They kissed again, slower this time, savoring the intimate connection they shared. The office, once a place of stress and frustration for Devyansh, now felt like a haven of peace and love with Ananya in his arms.

Eventually, they pulled away, resting their foreheads together. "Hum apke bina kuch bhi nahi hoon, Ananya," Devyansh whispered, his voice filled with sincerity.

"Aap humare liye sab kuch ho, Dev," Ananya replied softly, her heart overflowing with love for him.

Devyansh's eyes darkened with a newfound intensity as he gazed at her. He slowly moved his lips from hers and began trailing soft kisses along her jawline, moving towards her neck. Ananya shivered under his touch, her breath hitching as his lips made contact with her skin.

"Dev," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.

"Hmm?" he responded, not pausing in his tender exploration of her neck.

She closed her eyes, losing herself in the sensations. "Tumhare saathyeh sab... it feels so right."

Devyansh's lips found a particularly sensitive spot on her neck, and he kissed it gently, making her gasp. "Tumhari khushboo, tumhari aahat... it's intoxicating," he murmured against her skin.

Ananya's fingers tangled in his hair, her body leaning into his touch. "Dev, hum apse bahut pyaar kartai hai," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Devyansh's kisses became more fervent, his grip on her tightening slightly as he held her close. "Aur hum tumse, Ananya," he replied, his voice rough with emotion. He pulled back slightly to look into her eyes,

his thumb brushing over her cheek. "Tum meri ho, sirf meri."

Ananya nodded, her heart swelling with love and happiness. "Hamesha apki".

They stayed like that for a while, simply enjoying each other's presence, knowing that no matter what challenges lay ahead, their love would see them through.

After their tender moment, Devyansh couldn't resist lightening the mood. With a mischievous grin, he started tickling Ananya's sides, making her squeal with surprise.

"Dev, stop it!" she laughed, squirming in his lap.

"Not until you kiss me," he teased, continuing his playful assault.

Ananya managed to wriggle free and jumped up, giggling as she ran around the office. "Catch me if you can!" she called over her shoulder, her laughter filling the room.

Devyansh stood up, grinning. "Oh, you're on, Ananya," he said, chasing after her.

They darted around the office, their laughter echoing off the walls. Devyansh finally cornered Ananya near the sofa and lunged, catching her around the waist. They tumbled onto the sofa together, breathless and laughing.

As they caught their breath, Devyansh's playful demeanor softened. He leaned in and began kissing her neck again, this time with a slow, deliberate tenderness. Ananya sighed contentedly, her fingers gently running through his hair.

"Dev, aap kabhi nahi badloge," she whispered, a smile playing on her lips.

"Na hi main chahata hoon," he murmured against her skin, his kisses moving lower. "Tumhare saath yeh moments... they mean everything to me."

Ananya's heart swelled with love. She wrapped her arms around him, pulling him closer and laid there with her hand in his hair. Slowly massaging his head.

Devyansh continued to kiss her neck, his lips leaving a trail of warmth. Eventually, the comfortable rhythm of their breathing and the cozy embrace made them drowsy. They shifted slightly, finding a comfortable position on the sofa.

With Ananya nestled against his chest, Devyansh felt an overwhelming sense of peace. He held her close, their bodies fitting perfectly together. "I love you, Ananya," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

"I love you too, Dev," she replied softly, her eyes closing.

In the warmth of their embrace, surrounded by the quiet of the office, they drifted off to sleep. Their love, laughter, and the comfort of each other's presence filled the room, creating a perfect, serene moment amidst the chaos of their busy lives.

The peaceful nap on the sofa was interrupted by a soft knock on the door. Devyansh's PA entered cautiously, aware of the potential wrath of his boss but needing to remind him of an important meeting.

"Sir, aapki meeting ka time ho gaya hai," the PA said, his voice low and respectful.

Devyansh stirred, gently disentangling himself from Ananya's embrace. He got up, careful not to wake her. "Theek hai, main aata hoon," he replied, giving one last look at Ananya, who was still fast asleep.

He quietly left the office, leaving Ananya to her rest. When she finally woke up, she felt refreshed and took a moment to freshen up in his office bathroom. Once she was ready, she waited patiently for Devyansh's return.

After some time, Devyansh came back, his expression softening when he saw her waiting. "Sorry, Ananya, hume meeting sa aane mein der ho gayi," he apologized, offering her a warm smile.

"It's okay, Dev. Hume koi problem nhi hai," she replied, returning his smile.

"Chalo, hum apko ghar drop kar deta hai," he said, guiding her out of the office.

They went down to the car and sat inside. As they drove, the comfortable silence between them spoke volumes about their growing bond. Devyansh stole glances at Ananya, feeling grateful for her understanding and support.

When they reached her home, Devyansh parked the car and turned to her. He leaned in and kissed her forehead gently. "Thank you for today, Ananya. Tumhare saath waqt bitaana bahut achha laga," he said softly.

Ananya smiled, her eyes reflecting her happiness. "Mujhe bhi, Dev. Tumhare saath har moment special hota hai."

They shared a tender look before Ananya got out of the car. "Bye, Dev. Kal milte hain," she said, waving as she walked towards her house.

"Bye, Ananya," he replied, watching her until she disappeared inside.

As Devyansh drove away, he couldn't help but feel content. The day had started with stress and frustration but ended with love and peace, thanks to Ananya. Both of them were happy, cherishing the time they spent together and looking forward to more such moments.
