Chereads / Revenge of the fallen angels / Chapter 21 - Chapter 21

Chapter 21 - Chapter 21

A year and a half. That's how long it's been since Alison transformed into a demon. Eighteen months since the fallen Angeles was lost without news. No one knew where the brunette was hiding. Everyone wanted to see her and get to know her evil side, but she was not about to come out of hiding. She savored the dark side that had so far consumed every nook and cranny of her soul. She had no feelings. Furthermore, she was incapable of love. Her personality had changed dramatically.

It was not love for Jack that determined that she wanted this man for herself. This time it was desire and obsessive lust for the fallen angel she once loved. She wanted the demon back at all costs because the game she had planned made the thought of it fill her body with fascination.

- After such a long time, you must have missed me and want to meet a new version of Alison," she said into space, smiling cocky. She raised her hand and looked with interest at her long fingernails, painted with black polish. - Quite a long time to tire out your curiosity. Still regret that you wanted my return," she added in a donkey tone, lifting her gaze and looking ahead. - Especially you, dearest.

She stood at the top of the cliff, looking at the ocean with fascination. The water pounded against the rocks, and the fallen Angeles inhaled the frosty air with pleasure.

- I love winter," she replied, with her back turned to the ocean. A mysterious smile appeared on her face. - I love the freedom.

After these words, she retreated backwards and, closing her eyes, flew down. Since she fell, she felt what independence was. She could be herself. No one controlled her, no one threatened her freedom. She was strong — powerful by which she could fight. Now she was able to face the man who had so far treated her cruelly. Finally, the moment came when she could retaliate.

She landed on the sidewalk. Raising an eyebrow, she glanced at a young girl who, as she walked past her, froze, witnessing an inexplicable phenomenon. She stood still and watched the dark Angeles with wide-open eyes. Delighted by her flawless beauty, she parted her lips, feeling a sting of jealousy.

- Anne, come on. We're going to be late for school! - The brown-haired girl looked over when she heard her friend's shouts. She blinked her eyelids, then wordlessly joined her peer. However, before she got far enough away, she turned around for a moment to glance at the young woman once again.

The brunette was still standing, watching the girl with undisguised interest. She squinted when she noticed that the teenage girl had once again turned her attention to her. She crossed her arms over her chest and smiled as she sensed a throbbing feeling of jealousy coming from her. Strong envy.

- You can only dream about such beauty, little girl," she said quietly, but the words, directed at the teenager, echoed in her head. She panicked. She opened her eyes wider and wordlessly sped up her step, sensing danger. Furthermore, she suffered a shudder when she realized that it was not an illusion. That woman had indeed appeared out of nowhere. - But at least you know what real life is. A strong feeling of being haughty will make you someone in the future.

Although the teenager walked across the street, the dark angel made the girl heard the words perfectly.

Alison looked around the town with curiosity, and a smile appeared on her face caused by the interest of people. Not only men looked at her with fascination, but also jealous women.

- Alison. - She heard and glanced dismissively at the boy, under whom his knees bent when he noticed the angelic woman. He carefully measured her figure with his eyes and batted his eyelids, noticing the brunette's daring outfit. Under her leather jacket she wore a dress that emphasized her shapely curves, platform boots, and her hair was thicker than usual. Curls added a distinct volume to it, and red lipstick sexily highlighted the devil's full lips. She was even more beautiful than before. And although a human woman in her clothes would have looked cheap, Alison had an extraordinary beauty which made her look sexy.

- George," she replied with indifference in her voice. She did not enjoy his presence at all. He was not someone special to her. What she wanted most was to meet Jack. She wanted to demonstrate to him a clear transformation. She wanted to show how strong she was at a given moment. To present that she was able to surpass him.

- You disappeared for a year and a half. I was worried about you," he said cautiously, unaware of how the fallen Angeles would react. He tentatively moved closer to Alison as she calmly observed his childish actions. She thought he acted ridiculously, like a coward. She saw anxiety in his eyes, he was afraid of her new personality.

- This time flew by so quickly, before I knew it, I realized that it was time to take care of some things. A short rest in solitude did me good. I have gained more strength, and I am able to take care of the man who destroyed me earlier," she announced with a wry smile on her face. - Let me ask you directly, where is Jack? That's all I'm interested in. - The brunet lowered his head and his gaze saddened.

- I don't know," he answered briefly.

- Don't you know? Don't lie to me. Currently, I'm nice, but in a while that may change. You would rather not get to know my worse side. You definitely don't want to," she communicated to the boy, dangerously piercing him with her eyes. The brunet uncertainly lifted his face and looked into her eyes. They were beautiful. The earlier brown had been replaced by black, making her seem bolder and more dangerous. Demonic.

- I'm afraid you might do something stupid. You are not yourself. You can't control yourself," he declared, closing his eyelids. He gasped at Alison's previous incarnation. He didn't like her dark side. Furthermore, he feared her. Now she was as unpredictable as Jack. She gave the impression of a cruel demon.

- You are useless to me, so stop being interested in my plans. That Alison is gone, so you'd better erase her from your mind. I don't like it when someone is too pushy, it's annoying," she announced, twisting her lips in a grimace.

George turned his face away and closed his eyelids. He realized that he had finally lost Alison. She was right. He should finally stop being interested in the angelic woman. A close relationship with a demon was not a suitable solution. They could only bring him to the brink of death.

- He is in the underground club," he mumbled quietly, but that was enough for the fallen angelica to locate Jack's presence. Not caring about people, she disappeared in the blink of an eye, and George looked around with panicked eyes, however, no one paid particular attention.

The brunette stopped before descending into the club and twisted her face in an indistinct grimace. She could perfectly hear the loud screams piercing through the thumping music. Unaware of anything, people were playing among the fallen angels who were demonstrating with their minds, enjoying the pleasurable satisfaction.

She walked down the stairs and opened the metal door, which echoed against the wall, drawing the attention of the partygoers. People looked with interest at the fallen Angeles, who, with visible confidence, gracefully made her way toward the tables. Hearing the admiration coming from the mouths of the men, she bypassed them dismissively, heading for the designated spot. Her gaze was fixed on one person. In the man who interested her.

He sat on the couch, surrounded by beautiful women who clung to him at every opportunity. One by one they fought to sit as close as possible to the handsome demon. However, he was not interested in any of them. His gaze was focused on the devil woman who unexpectedly entered the club, honoring him with a visit after such a long absence.

Resting his chin on his hand, he sexily squinted and looked at her closely. She was definitely more beautiful. Not only was her beauty stunning, but also her confidence. Her appearance was sharper and more expressive.

- Alison," he murmured as she stopped at their table. The brunette swept her gaze around the human women, who, even under her gaze, were not about to remove themselves. They looked as if they were ready to fight for the man who had turned their heads.

- Jack," she replied in a seductive voice, throwing her hair over her shoulder. A half-smile appeared on her face as she noticed that he was watching her with fascination.

- I was worried that you had not undergone a favorable change. I thought your friend had given you away," he said, not taking his eyes off her.

- I am stronger than you thought. As you can see, I managed without any problems," she said, and then shifted her gaze to the girls sitting next to him. She rebuked them with a sharp look, clarifying it that they were taking her place. - I don't like the fact that you are so close to something that is mine. This man is mine, so I advise you to leave," she announced with a raised tone in her voice. Jack laughed, resting his foot on his knee. With his thumb, he rubbed his lips, on which a smile was visible.

- Why are you chasing away my women? Don't say you're jealous. Now I won't believe you," he said, putting his arm around the blonde. Alison snorted under her breath and threw the girl a dangerous look. This was enough to make that one remove herself. Jack furrowed his eyebrows, and the fallen angel walked past the other girls and took a seat next to her man.

- At least now I am able to handle any situation. I like that," she emphasized the last sentence and looked at his face from a close distance. The brunet glanced at the fallen Angeles and put his arm around her, his fingers brushing the skin at her cleavage.

- Fascinating, Alison. Remember that it was I who brought you to this state. Don't take credit for that. Without me, you would still be a boring angel," he whispered in her ear, causing a pleasant shiver to run through her body.

- You did more than you expected," she announced through her teeth. She captured his chin with her fingers, forcing him to look into her face. - We have something you will never know about. Although... since I don't care about him, you even less should," she informed the demon. He looked curious about these words, but disregarded them. Currently, he was intrigued by Alison's presence.

The brunette smiled mysteriously and turned her face away from the demon, watching the dancing couples with interest. She noticed that people were looking exclusively at them instead of focusing on each other. Alison and Jack caught the attention of the mortals, which in a way impressed her.

Angelica rose from her seat and was about to leave when she suddenly remembered something. She turned to face Jack, who raised an eyebrow in surprise when she touched his arm.

- Oh, I forgot. Tattoos add a helluva lot of sexiness to you," she whispered, leaning provocatively over his ear. She wanted to walk away, but Jack grabbed her wrist and pulled her close again. She fell into his lap, which did not please the other girls. They were jealous, as could be inferred from the looks on their faces.

- Where are you going, Alison? I haven't had an opportunity to enjoy you after such a long absence. Your personality is damn appealing," he proclaimed, with his breath tickling her neck. With his hand, he held the brunette's waist, not letting her leave her seat.

However, she took advantage of the moment of his inattention and moved to another place. The human women opened their eyes wide, wondering if they had witnessed a magical power. They began to lament among themselves, but Jack paid no attention to them as he followed the fallen Angeles with his eyes. A sexy smile appeared on his face.

Alison passed the dancing couples, heading for the bar. She sat down on a chair and, tossing her hair, ordered the bartender her strongest drink. She couldn't get drunk, but she loved alcohol. Furthermore, she loved its strong taste.

- You are beautiful. - She heard the delighted voice of a man. She looked over her shoulder and threw him a sour smile. According to her, he was not handsome at all.

Mortal men did not impress her.

- I know I'm beautiful. You are ugly, so I don't understand why you are even talking. What are you hoping for? That I'll let you have a drink with me, and then we'll fuck in the men's room? - She asked with a dry tone in her voice, taking a small sip of whiskey. The man became confused. She noticed that he became dumbfounded. Red in the face, he felt shame, but he tried to remain a tough man, so he did not let go of Alison. He grabbed her hand and tugged hard, thinking that by doing so he would call her to order, but the angelic woman was unimpressed. She took another sip of her drink and looked at him dismissively.

- Be careful, or you'll break your hands," she said, looking around the club. The man jerked her around again, which angered Alison because she couldn't enjoy the alcohol in peace. - Will you finally let me go, or should I kill you? - She asked bluntly, piercing him with her eyes.

- Try it, bitch. We'll see what you can do it," he pronounced, and Alison wrinkled her nose in disgust when she smelled the unpleasant odor from his mouth.

- Seriously, you're disgusting. You're pissing me off more and more," she said, pulling her hand out of his grasp. She refilled her drink and before the man could do anything, she wrenched his neck without using her hands. The girl sitting at the bar screamed, echoed by the other clubbers. Alison was furious to the point that the screams of the mortals irritated her incredibly. Not intending to spare anyone, she caused people to lose their lives.

She rolled her eyes when she heard the enthusiastic whistling of a delighted Jack. He looked happy, so he started clapping loudly.

- Sensational, Alison.

- I'm just getting started. Later you'll see what fun is in my company, dearest," she announced, motioning to the fallen angel. She walked over the dead bodies and, with satisfaction on her face, sat on Jack's lap. - Are you ready? - She asked, smiling mysteriously. With the outside of her hand, she stroked the demon's cheek, marveling at his handsome appearance. He was the only man she was attracted to.

You are mine. I won't give you up to anyone, she thought.

Someone entered the club, and Alison looked back with curiosity in her eyes, spotting a sexy woman in the doorway. She rivaled the fallen Angeles in beauty. She was beautiful.

- Jack," she called out in greeting, and Alison squinted. She carefully measured her with her eyes, displeased that the unknown woman addressed her man by name.

- Who are you? - She asked with a raised tone in her voice, mirroring her with her gaze. She sensed that she was not human. She had a dark soul. A fallen Angeles. A demon.

- Sarah. - Jack answered for her, which clearly did not please Alison. - This is my new friend," he turned directly to the brunette, then shifted his gaze to the visitor. - And this is the woman I told you so much about. Once the love of my life," he announced with amusement in his voice, embracing Alison more tightly.

The two women looked at each other with prejudice. Neither of them expressed any desire to get acquainted with the other. Upon entering, Alison wrote the woman down on her enemies list. She sensed a threat in her — a fight for Jack.

Henry entered the cave located in the rock of the cliff and squatted by the young boy, who smiled friendly at the sight of the angel. It only took eighteen months for him to transform from an infant into a young man. Into an eighteen-year-old who, having reached the designated age, no longer grew up.

Angel looked at his face, noticing Jack's features. In appearance, he inherited more from his father than from his mother. He had his eyes, his hair, and his looks. He was handsome, however, although he was a hybrid — a combination of a demon and an angel — he possessed a heart. Henry did everything to make this happen. Although dark blood flowed in him, the boy was good. He inherited the character from his mother before her complete transformation took place.

- What are you going to do? Will I spend all eternity in this cave? Who are my parents? - Asked the boy, looking with an expectant gaze at the angel.

- You will not spend all eternity here. I have prepared everything for you. Now that you have reached full age you can live among humans. You will pretend to be human. I have arranged a house for you, documents, so you will go to school like a normal teenager," Henry explained, and a cynical smile appeared on the boy's face.

- So what? I'm supposed to blend in with the crowd and pretend I'm a mortal? Because what? Otherwise, they will punish me for being the child of beings who should never be together?

- It's better if you don't know the truth. That way it will be easier for you to hide the truth. I want you to be safe. You are not guilty of your parents' sin," Henry announced, placing a hand on the brunet's shoulder. - Trust me. You can say that I raised you, so treat me like an older brother.

The boy raised his face and carefully looked at the angel.

- Tom, just trust me, okay?

- Is that my real name?

- No. It's a name I made up. The name given by your mother could betray you.

The teenager nodded, and Henry patted him on the shoulder.

- I believe you can handle it. You are an extraterrestrial being. You are their son," he said, looking him in the eyes. - Just remember. You have to be careful.

- I will watch out for myself. He promises.

- And never think about knowing the truth. Stay away from it. Otherwise, you will bring trouble on yourself," he informed the teenager, who nodded. - It's time for you to start enjoying life. Let's go," the angel communicated, heading toward the exit. The boy followed uncertainly, feeling some apprehension. He was frightened by the thought that just now he will meet the world. He will appear among people, begin to live in their environment... Furthermore, he will become independent.
