Alison was sitting on an elevated wall; dressed in a short dress, she was showing off her long, slender legs to people. She teased the men who were interested in her. She was amused by people's behavior, especially since there wasn't even one person who ignored her.
Furthermore, she looked at the dark angel with indignation when he threw a dirty cloth he found on the street at her feet.
- What is this? - She asked, looking at him from under her eyes.
- I told you not to draw attention to yourself.
- And why does it bother you? I like it when people look at me. It's a pleasant pastime. You have your activities, and I have fun meanwhile.
- You are not a child," he sneered. The fallen angel parted her lips in a gesture of indignation and jumped off the high wall.
She rolled her eyes and approached her accomplices, who were carefully following the map. The town wasn't big, and they were all over the place, so they no longer had any idea where Martha and Lucifer's daughter could be hiding. And finding her was the last resort to get out of the place.
Alison was annoyed that they had dragged her into a plan they couldn't finish. They stood still because they couldn't find the child.
- How could they be sure that the girl was actually in town?
- Martha can sense her presence. She is sure that the child is hiding somewhere," replied Michael. The fallen angel snorted under her breath and crossed her arms over her chest, carefully watching their actions.
- Since he can sense her presence, he should easily find her.
- If it were that easy... - muttered Jack, and one point on the map caught his attention. He touched it with his finger and thought hard, which particularly interested his partner.
- Do you have any ideas?
- There is one place that we have ignored all along," he pronounced, and a hopeful smile appeared on his face. - We did it because demons hate to stay too long in the midst of water, but this child is different: special. Why didn't I think of this before? Martha and I should go there.
Alison put her hand to her chin and carefully looked at the man she would have followed into the fire. However, she had some doubts and could not trust him until he accomplished his task and took her with him. He had been deceiving her all along, using her for his plan, so now she couldn't take his word for it.
- What about Rafael and his venomous companion? - She asked in a hushed voice, clarifying it that she hated the two and would be better off never seeing them again.
- They don't know about our plan. It does not affect them.
Alison smiled half-heartedly because she wanted to see their faces when she got to the other side of the protective barrier, and they stayed here and stuck in this hole for all eternity.
She was just waiting for the moment to leave here. Forever...

A gusty wind broke. The waves pounded the rocks with tremendous force, and Alison stood by Jack's side, who looked at the cliff with fascination. His interest was piqued by the cave, which was the best place to hide.
Alison had circled the area many times when she had transformed into a demon, but had not spotted any child, so she thought it was a waste of time to look for her by the ocean.
She didn't believe they would find anything here.
Michael stood next to them, and a quiet sigh escaped his lips. He hoped that this was the final place where the girl was hiding because he had no more ideas as to her location.
Alison glanced at Martha with her eyes when she decided to reveal herself. Jack convinced her that she should trust the fallen angel.
- What an honor has befallen me," she scoffed, ignoring the wry glances of her former lover. - Well what? I'm shocked that such a wonderful being decided to reveal herself to me.
- Just shut up, Alison.
The brunette pouted her lips and turned her face the other way, watching the angry waves that were hitting the shore.
- I don't know if this place is good. The child has put on protection, so detecting her won't be easy. She can also be invisible to everyone," Martha said, feeling slightly disappointed.
- Perhaps to everyone, but not to you. You also have extraordinary abilities, so you are the only being who can see your daughter. You can do this, aren't you? - Jack fixed a hopeful gaze on her, expecting her to do her best to complete the plan.
- Of course, but the best chance of spotting her is at night or in a place so dark that I can see the glow emanating from her.
The demon lifted his face and looked at the cave, which was located in a high cliff.
- I think this place will be dark enough for you to spot it.
Alison raised an eyebrow and looked carefully at Martha, who looked excited. She was probably happy that there was a possibility that she would finally see her child. The fallen angel did not share this enthusiasm, and was not at all jealous that Martha had the opportunity to meet her daughter. Alison had thought about her son many times, but would never have wanted to come face to face with him.
She was afraid that then something would break inside her, and she would entirely change her attitude, and she didn't want that. She liked the carefree life she had led so far and only wanted to spend it by Jack's side.
- Why are you so sure about this place? - The demon stuck his gaze on Alison, and a gentle smile appeared on his face.
- Haven't you guessed yet? - He asked, and when she shrugged her shoulders, he continued. - Demons love desolate places, and this child is Lucifer's daughter. This cave is perfect to hide in because, because of the ocean, it's the last place other creatures will think of.

Alison watched the setting sun, burrowing her fingers in the sand with boredom. Everyone but her had grown accustomed to waiting until dusk. They believed the girl would reveal herself to her mother. They were convinced that this was the final place where they would meet her.
The fallen angelica thought this was nonsense, but since they were the wise and cunning beings, she decided to wait and see if they were right.
Staying by the ocean for too long was temporarily taking away her abilities, so she wanted to leave as soon as possible.
She looked at Jack obliquely as he squatted on the sand, not intending to start any topic. He simply accompanied her as she looked out at the ocean and remained silent the whole time.
- Aren't you curious about what I'm hiding from you like this?
- I would be more surprised if you weren't hiding something from me.
With this answer, he made her laugh.
- Since you are not interested, I will wait for the right moment. I dream of nothing more than to see a real shock on your face for the first time. - The demon stuck his laughing eyes on her.
- It's impossible. There is nothing that could surprise me. Well, unless it turns out that you have some extraordinary powers.
Alison smiled under her breath because she was sure that learning the truth about her son would have caused him great surprise.
- Isn't this the first time since your punishment that we have talked normally?
- If you think this is a normal conversation, then you must be pleased," he announced, resting his palms on the sand.
- I'm no longer the winded angelic girl who looks up to you, so I'm not jumping for joy. Anyway, as you can see.
- And it's a shame because you were really sweet when I was carrying out my plan and had to oppress you," he declared in an amused voice.
Alison furrowed her eyebrows and looked closely at his face because this was the first time in a long time that she had seen a sincere smile in him.
- When we leave this place, then everything will change. We will finally be free," he added.
- Jack! - The fallen angel looked over his shoulder when he heard Michael's call. He rose from the sand, as his attention was caught by Martha, who looked at one point and put her hands to her face. She looked shocked.
- What's going on?
- I think she sees her...
Alison rose from the sand like a scalding and stood next to the demon, unable to believe that he was actually right.
- So what? Your vision can be considered successful despite many hardships?
- Not quite... We have the last but most difficult part ahead of us to make sure everything goes according to plan.
