This is the story of a man named Ruin, despite his name he never actually faced such a thing before.
One could say he has lived his life filled with nothing but work and menial tasks.
The others would call him a waste of potential, But he never really cared about such discrimination. He lived his life in a place called The Mind, a dystopian, industrial and work centric cityscape, a place where such things being called at you would mean nothing and will never mean anything.
Since what? Such things have never bothered him before and now. His schedule everyday was ordinary and simple, to go to work, finish up your assigned task for that day, go home.
The society he lives in is one of absolute cruelty, nearly every wrong actions and acts have been done in the name of advancing, human experiments, Hybridization, Riots, and nearly every inhumane act though they are regulated to some extent and made to be kept quite tame for the most part. They are still prevalent.
Ruin doesn't worry about such things, he cares not if he dies yet he also does not actively seek this release of death, He has lived his life up to this point with the most minimal Positivity and Negativity.
....Why am I narrating my life I wonder?
I always had this habit I suppose, I'm pretty sure I need a therapist for this, this doesn't sound or look normal, but in a way it's a way to distract myself from this.
I looked at what was around me, corpses, remains of people splattered across the walls and the street in front of me, bloody and vile. The words that can only describe This situation
I'm probably the only person that could stomach seeing all this.
I then check my phone
[Technical Works Department]
Task:
[]Clean up the remains and corpses from the riot
Location:Division 1-5
Today's task seemed to be the last before I head home for today.
How do I clean this one this time?
Fire or Pulverizing this into dust? Usually they carry out the corpses and put them in caskets or cremation. Usually.
But that's not the case today they don't even look human at this point. All of their bodies are mangled, crushed and splattered all across the streets, not a single thing here even looks remotely human looking, all of their bodily remains were practically connected with each other. It's all just red and even more red.
I then crouch down before touching one of the corpses as a spark ignited from my fingertips
[Ignite]
I muttered to myself before seeing the fire spread almost immediately as it slowly burned the piles and piles of corpses to ash.
This should be done in the next hour or so.
I then turn around slowly leaving to the direction I came from heading to the Technical works department where I work at.
Time to clock out~
