Chapter 10 - Confronting Goro

Edgar knew this would be the most challenging mission yet. He felt a strong sense of responsibility to protect humanity and knew that Rachel and her team were the only hope for the city.

As they made their way up the stairs, Edgar could hear the Majas rumbling in the shadows. He knew that they were surrounded, but he also knew that they couldn't keep fighting like this. The Majas needed to be shown that there was another way.

With Rachel's encouragement, Edgar called upon his god-like powers. He felt a surge of energy flow through his body as he began to levitate. He scanned the Majas, looking for the strongest and smartest guard.

'Do it Eddie' said Kitty

'Okay, Sensei Kyle said that the whole point the blind fist was the lock on to your opponent telepathically you could not only read every thought they have, but you could also read every movement they're about to make before they do it.'

Yes, I did say that.

It had occurred to me that an order for someone to defeat, the blind first they would have to think one thing, and do something else.

I think the best way to fix that problem would be to not only read their movements, but look into their subconscious as well.

'Who is the strongest maja?'

Edgar flew over the Majas, searching for their strongest guard. He soon spotted a maja who seemed to be in charge. Edgar used his god-like powers to speak to him telepathically, asking him to join the good side.

The maja was hesitant at first, but Edgar's words began to sink in. His name was Jaja and he had never liked Goro's plan of taking over the Earth.

'I'm sorry, earthling. Goro would have me executed.'

'It's okay. We can protect you. I know there are other majas Who don't agree with Goro's idea of world domination, I can sense them.'

'Alright. You may pass but you must end this war at all costs.'

Rachel and her team couldn't believe what they were hearing. Edgar had used his god-like powers to speak to the strongest Maja in the area. And he had managed to convince him to join the cause.

The whole team was stunned. They all looked at Edgar in amazement. They had never seen anyone use their powers like that before.

After going through several groups of maja guards and climbing several flights of stairs, Edgar finally found Goro's throne room.

Goro was sitting on his throne, surrounded by the other Majas. He looked up when Edgar began to speak to him.

"Goro!"

Goro laughed.

"Welcome to my humble abode. I've been expecting you for some time. Tell me young Kai, what kept you?"

"Enough of your games!"

Edgar looked down at Goro, ready to confront him, but Rachel stopped him. She reminded him that he had been given an important mission and that they needed to keep their head on their shoulders. "We know you're the strongest Maja in the city," she said, addressing Jaja, who had joined them midway up the staircase. "You're outnumbered Goro!"

Jaja was hesitant, but he started to think of the consequences of being a traitor. However, he felt as if he had to do the right thing. Take orders from this lunatic any longer!

Goro looked Jaja and laughed in amusement. "You're no match for me, boy. You'd be better off joining me."

"We'll get your family out of the city," Kitty said, speaking to Jaja. "But you must decide to join us. We can't protect you if you choose to stay with Goro."

Jaja thought about his family. He had a wife and children who depended on him. What would happen if he stayed with Goro? Would they be killed? Would he become a traitor?

He saw the world changing in front of him. He saw the destruction and fear that Goro brought with him. He saw that Goro believed in something different than he did.

"I'll join you," he said.

Rachel and her team smiled in relief. They knew that they had just made a difference. They understood that sometimes it takes more than just fighting to make things right.

Edgar knew that they still had much to do. They had to stop Goro's plan, but they also had to make sure that the Majas stayed on their side. They had to show them that there was another way.

"I'm glad you joined us," Rachel said, extending her hand to Jaja. "We need all the help we can get."

Jaja smiled and shook her hand.

"Enough talking!" Said Goro, "Guards! Kill them all!"

"Alright," said Edgar, "This is for my parents!"

The guards rushed in, but Eddie and Kitty were able to knock them out easily.

"Taru! Shika! Rora! Jipa!" Yelled Goro, "Destroy them! Kill!"

Edgar was not prepared for what happened next. The four maja Warriors appeared out of nowhere, as if summoned by Goro's words. Edgar had never seen anything like it. The four warriors were more powerful than anyone Edgar had ever encountered before. They looked at Jaja, who felt a pang of fear in his stomach.

But Edgar wasn't afraid. He had faith in the resistance. He knew that they were not all evil and that they could be convinced to join them. He hoped that he was right.

The four majas attacked Rachel, Kitty and Eddie, but Jaja quickly stepped in and challenged them. The warriors were taken aback at Jaja's bravery, but they didn't back down.

The fight was intense, but in the end, Jaja stood victorious. He had managed to hold his own against the warriors and protect Edgar, Kitty and Rachel.

Edgar felt a sense of satisfaction in his heart. He knew that the Majas could be swayed and that the war could be stopped. He was glad that he had been proven right.

As the group made their way back to their base, Jaja stood by Edgar's side, grateful for his help. He was beginning to understand that there was more to life than fighting for power and domination.

"That did it!"

Goro leaped out of his throne, holding a laser rifle.

Goro was furious. The resistance had managed to defeat his guards, destroy his weapons and defy his authority. And now, they were walking free, unharmed and unafraid. Goro knew that he had to take drastic measures to make sure that this never happened again.

He gathered his trusted maja warriors and ordered them to hunt down the resistance. "Kill them all!" he screeched, his eyes ablaze with fury.

He doesn't laser shot around the room as Jaja and Rachel led the rest of the resistance out of the throne room.

"Stay back!" Said Kitty, "He's lost it!"

Goro roared.

Edgar avoided the laser beams, and got ready for an attack.

"Fist of the devil!"

Edgar uppercutted Goro with tremendous force, sending him flying out of a huge glass window.

Goro screamed as he fell to his death.

Crash!

There was a big crater in the street where Goro had fell, he was dead!

And so, the war came to an end. The Majas and the resistance shared a newfound understanding and friendship. The once bitter enemies worked together to make things right, and the world was a better place for it.

Edgar and his team smiled in relief. They knew that they had just made a difference. They understood that sometimes it takes more than just fighting to make things right.
