Chapter 12 - Narration by Lilith Dragmire

When you lived as long as I have you learned quite a few things.

Traveling from timeline timeline. I've had the opportunity to learn how to play lots of different instruments, but the harmonica has always been my favorite because I like the way it sounds and something small not to stick in my pocket and carry with me everywhere.

I'm not only joined the band just so I can sing and dance, but I am also acting as the boys manager.

Bill has told me that on many occasions he and the boys ever try to play at any of the school dances they're always told "You boys are too darn loud."

Well, they are a rock band, what do these old teachers expect? For the boys to play without their amplifiers on? I have never understood this myself.

It seems like it would be much easier for me to get real gigs for the boys to play at. Being a goddess, I can be very persuasive.

Shorty after I joined the band, I discovered two girls from another timeline who are both very good musicians.

Unfortunately, their story didn't start off that well.

The story takes place in the universe 0921.

A crash of Thunder came from far off like a signal gun for the battle of winds to begin, sweeping over the beach.

An Italian cargo ship know as the Grande Nave brought supplies to be sold to the Lenape for gold.

One Italian man named Antony Dracken did not return to Italy because he fell in love with a Lenape woman named Makawee. They were my parents.

My name is Margaret Maria Dracken and I was born in the area now know as Rehobeth Delaware on September 13, 1721. My little sister, Florence Isabella Dracken was born on December 6 1737.

How I became what I am happened in the year 1743. It all began with a town party in the village of Smokey woods. I heard from my guitar teacher that a girl about my age was going to play guitar for everyone. I was so happy for the chance to meet another musician, someone to play with.

At the party that night I got a good look a the girl as she played a song I didn't recognize as she sang the lyrics. She was blonde, about 5'6 and very beautiful with deep blue eyes.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Ms. Felicia Ada!"

Everyone clapped as Felicia bowed and got off the stage.

I went on next. I sang "Black-eyed Susan" in E. I noticed that Felicia smiled at me as I sang the lyrics, as if she was impressed that I knew all the words. Everyone clapped when I was done and Felicia beckoned for me to come and sit at her table.

"You play very well," said Felicia as I sat down, "You even knew the lyrics."

I giggled. "Thank you. I never heard that song you did before."

Felicia smiled. "That's because I made it up. For some reason I have a hard time remembering lyrics so I just have to wing it."

"Id it OK if I see your guitar for a second?" I asked.

I hesitated for a second, but she seemed like such a sweet person. I have never seen a person with red eyes before, I could not stop looking at them.

"Okay."

I handed her my guitar and she began to play with the tuning pegs on the head of the guitar as her beautiful dark raven hair blow behind her in the breeze. She was taking my breath away without even trying.

I looked over to my parents to see if they were noticing that I was looking at this woman in such an odd way. No they didn't notice; they were too busy dancing together as the next group of musicians played music.

"There." She said as she handed my guitar back to me. "That should make it sound a lot better."

She had tuned my guitar for me. Something I had never thought of doing. This girl was not only gorgeous but she was also brilliant.

Now that I told you the story about how Margaret and I met, now might be a good time to give you my backstory. I was born as Felicia Andrea Ada on June 6 1722. My father was a German blacksmith named Walter Ada and my mother's name was Emma Ada. They both came to America shortly before I was born because Germany was hit with a mysterious plague that was killing off tons of people.

Suddenly the party was interrupted by screaming.

In seconds, an army of strangers were coming in at us in all directions. Some of them were laughing gaily. They held knives, hatchets, clubs, rocks, hammers. One girl, maybe 13, with beautiful long blond hair, held a sickle. They all dressed in long black robes.

Many people were being attacked by the strangers as the axes and knives rose and fell.

"Run!" I heard my father yell as about ten or twelve strangers closed in on him and my mother.

I watched in horror as my father was stabbed in the neck by a stranger holding a knife.

"Margaret! Run! Get out of here!"

The gush of blood was immediate, gigantic. Father began to gobble and walk in a large circle. He clawed at the knife, trying to pull it free, and was unable. This couldn't be happening! This had to be a nightmare! Wake up Margaret Wake up!

Father gave one last weak gobble, and sank to his knees.

I turned around and began to run just as I felt one of the strangers grabbing my arm.

"This one will be a sacrifice! She will be the one to awaken the vampire!"

I saw both Felicia and Florence carried off by the strangers just as I began to lose consciousness.
