When we returned home Mum made Qua take a bath. He was after all covered head to toe in sticky juice and a few bites of ant.
"Tykin tells me you are banned from berry hunting trips until further notice," Mum crossed her arms and leaned against the wall, "What did you do Qua."
"It's an over reaction," Qua groaned.
"Says you," I gave him a scowl, "You weren't nearly eaten."
"Nearly eaten?" Mum's voice went up an octave, "Nearly eaten by what?"
"A big bug," Qua shrugged, I could tell he wanted me to stop talking.
"We're fine Mum," I tried to smile.
"I don't want any of you going on those trips anymore," Mum looked at us both with fear and anger, "I'm going to tell Tykin that she can ask us to do chores where its safe but I am not sending any more children out where it's dangerous."
With that Mum stormed off to find Tykin.
Qua groaned.
"You shouldn't have mentioned the bug," I sighed, "Now you're in more trouble."
