Joy walked home still very delusional. She was already thinking of how to make the perfect school year but to her the perfect school year was to be able to pass the year without being disturbed or bullied by anyone. Ms Jenkins already assured her that she would be safe and she believed her words.
She remembered Ms Jenkins' words and she smiled to herself. She couldn't believe that someone would be so soft but then again, the people she lived with was nice to her at first and changed over night.
Would Ms Jenkins change too? She thought to herself, she still couldn't think Ms Jenkins would treat her bad.
She finally reached the gate of the house and her expression turned sour. She didn't like it here but she had to stay. It was the only place she had to stay.
As soon as she entered the house, she perceived a fowl smell, a very bad smell. She saw doing their things not caring about the smell at all.
"Clean the dog poop" the daughter careless ordered Joy who frowned but couldn't say anything.
She put her bag on the couch and started cleaning the dog poop. The smell was so bad.
"How could you stay here with such a bad smell?" She asked Jess who just sat there not caring about what was going on.
"I was waiting for you to clean it up"
Joy didn't say anything. She knew it was useless talking to this girl. She didn't want any trouble.
"Clean it properly" she ordered and Joy frowned at her.
"You should come clean it and stop ordering me around" she firmly told Jess who stood up and walked to Joy.
"Who are you talking to? Who do you think you are?" She yelled at Joy who didn't say anything but just kept doing her thing.
"I am talking too you!"
"What's with the commotion" Eve the mother came from her room.
"Shes being disrespectful" Jess crossed her arms around her chest.
"How dare you disrespect my daughter?" Eve yelled at Joy who was obviously pissed.
"I have nothing to say to you. Just let me do my thing" Joy continued cleaning and that angered Eve and Jess.
"If you're tired of living here then you can move out!. I'm also tired of feeding you and giving you shelter" Joy didn't say anything even if Eve was obviously talking shit.
The fact that she lived with Eve and her family, she didn't deny but she had been the one feeding the family that doesn't even value her. Since she started working, she had never used her money for herself, it always went on food and Jess' makeup.
" Let her clean up the mess" turning to Joy, "clean my room up too" she ordered and Jess followed her mother.
Joy sighed, she wanted to disappear but she remained calm. She knew she had to endure a bit longer. She had to hold on just for a while.

The class was finally over. As soon as the teacher left the hall, all the students turned to their normal selves.
"Hey Lily, I saw you with a girl today. Whos she?" One of the girls that turned to Lily asked curiously.
"She looked really pretty"
The other girl said and they both nodded.
"She's out new classmate and she'll start coming tomorrow" lily simply said.
"Well, I wanna be friends with her" Khloe the first girl tugged lily sleeve.
"You can be. Just ask her when she comes tomorrow " Kiara the other girl simply said like she was thinking if Joy would really agree.
"What's her name?" Klara asked Lily.
"Joy" she whispered.
"Nice and short. I'm gonna take her for sure"
"No I will" Khloe resorted.
"Shut up the both if you. She's not even here yet. Let her come first and win her over, okay?" Lily scolded the two girls who also seemed to like Joy.

"Let's go out today, I'm bored" Chad looked like there was nothing interesting going on.
"I'm not in the mood" Ryan didn't raise his head.
"Huh? Its been a while since we hung out "
"Just have fun with your girls" Chad didn't stress it.
"Okay, I'll have fun"
"Baby..." They both heard Sandra's voice, Ryan's girlfriend.
"Sigh ..... I'm also not in the mood for this" Ryan finally gave in to Chad's request.
"I'm coming with you later" he said with a low voice.
"I missed you" well, this girl was different from the one at he basketball court. Ryan had many girlfriends and they all knew but didn't fight over him.
"Why didn't you call me?" She wanted to hug Ryan but he dodged it immediately making Chad chuckle silently and walk away.
Sandra pouted her lips, she was obviously displeased by Ryan's behavior but did bother saying. "Why didn't you call me?" She asked again.
"I forgot" Ryan didn't even look at her. The girl was losing her patience. How could Ryan forget to call her?
Was she so unimportant to him? Sandra didn't think more about it.
"Then, make up for the days you missed"
"I'm busy"
"Do you not even care about me?!" She yelled and everyone in the class turned to look at them but Ryan didn't flinch.
"Do you not love me?"
"No" Ryan was totally honest with her and his honesty broke her heart.
She had liked Ryan for a long, long time but he never gave her a chance and now that he finally took her as his girlfriend, he just couldn't keep up. He couldn't bring himself to like this girl, not at all.
"You really don't feel anything? After all these while?" She sounded like she was going to cry.
"I don't. And I was gonna end things with you for a while now, looks like this is the right time" Ryan looked that her for a moment and walked away.
He simply didn't care.
He left the girl crying silently. Everyone in the room knew how Ryan was, they were not surprised.
Sandra was rooted to the ground until someone came and dragged her away from the class. She was gonna break down.
