It was almost noon when Chad finally woke, the sound of his phone ringing actually woke him up.
"Who calling so early?" He groaned and picked up his phone.
"What the what....!" His mom was the one calling.
He immediately jumped off the bed and gulped a whole glass of water before answering.
"Hi mom" he sounded gentle, what a sly fox.
"Hello son, I hope I'm not disturbing you"
"Oh no. Not at all"
"Are you in school?" Chad knew he couldn't possibly lie about that.
"No, I didn't go to school because I fell a little sick thus morning " what a professional liar.
"Oh son are you okay? You should call the doctor " his mom sounded worried.
"No I'll be fine. I just need some rest at home" his mom sighed.
"Okay, I called to tell you that we're on our way home now "
What the...! He screamed inside his head.
"Why...?"
"We finished work early and I miss you. Don't you miss me?" Chad felt like he would melt. The whole house was a complete mess.
"I do, mom. I just thought you would comeback next week"
"We're coming now, bye"
As soon as the call ended, Chad thought he would go crazy. He immediately assembled all the cleaners.
"My parents would be here in a few hours and I want the house clean before they get here. So please make it spotless, okay?"
"Yes, young master" all in unison.
Chad also helped helped in cleaning the whole house. He didn't want his parents to find out about the party. No, they couldn't.

It was finally lunch time and as soon as the bell was heard, all the kids left the classroom and some girls dragged lily along with them leaving only Ryan and Joy.
Joy didn't know if she should go with the others or stay in the classroom, the silence was awkward.....
Ryan didn't look like he had any intention of getting up from that spot.
While Joy on the other hand, was staring at him trying to figure out where she met that good looking prince.
That was actually the first time Joy saw someone as 'good looking'. And then boom... She got it. Yesterday at the basketball court, that's where she saw him. Her face turned sour as she remembered how she saw him with...
Okay, what is wrong with me?
She immediately stood up and left the class.
"Hey Joy, I thought you were never gonna come out"
"Lily?"
"Come here" Lily whispered.
Joy walked to her and lily held her hand.
"Let's go to the rooftop"
"I thought you went to have lunch with those girls.." Joy was puzzled.
"How could I possibly leave you? I ran from them of course" she chuckled.
The only place Lily didn't show Joy yesterday was the rooftop, yes the rooftop.
Lily already arranged different foods on the table there and they were two seats; for her and Joy.
"Its a welcome lunch, I wanted to ....um...I "
She couldn't speak.
"I love it" Joy really did.
"You do?..." Lily whispered.
"Of course. I ve never had a welcome lunch before" one could feel the honesty in her words and it calmed Lily down.
Lily had been nervous because she really didn't want to Joy feel uncomfortable by her actions.
"When did you make these?"
"Its a secret.. " lily smiled and they both sat down.
Joy and Lily talked about themselves during lunch since that needed to know about each other. Lily already knew that Joy was a scholarship student since she heard her mom talk about it, she heard Joy was very intelligent and had really good grades that why she got the scholarship. Lily though, she wanted to be close to Joy because she was smart, she also wanted to be good friends with her too or maybe best friends since yesterday; the day they met.
Joy liked what was going on.
She liked the fact that there was one person that cared about her. She knew her other classmates only saw her face and nothing else. There was one person who didn't care though.....
Her mind slowly drifted to him, that mysterious guy. He immediately erased his face out her brain.
In the cafeteria....
"Did you see the new girl?"
"Yes, I did. She looked gorgeous"
"Do you think Ryan would take her?"
."or even Chad?"
"Those two likes hot and pretty girls"
"That's true"
"Let's wait and see who will have her"
"Oh, I will"
"You jerk, stop dreaming"
"What? I'm handsome"
"I wouldn't even look at you when we have two prince charmings in our class" they talked who would win Joy over. They all knew those two liked pretty girls and Joy was a great example of beauty. Yes, she was.
Ryan stared out the window feeling the cool breeze. It felt nice. He looked around, he could see how nice and sunny the weather was.
He closed his eyes to smell the fresh air.
If only everyday was this peaceful.
His eyes caught the two girls who looked liked they were coming from the top.
He looked at Joy who seemed Joyful.
He looked away and rested his head on the table.
Joy... Joy...Joy
He murmured her name.

" They're so many ways to go to the rooftop"
"Yeah." Joy and Lily were both walking down from the rooftop, hand in hand.
"I have to go see my mom"
Joy looked confused. " Your mom?"
"Oh.. you don't yet. Ms Jenkins is my mom"
Joy now understood why Lily talked like Ms Jenkins most if the time. It was now clear. Joy smiled and told Lily that she could go herself and lily left telling her she'll be back in no time.
As Joy walked down the hallway, all eyes were on her.
"Who is she?"
"She so gorgeous"
"Wow, is she a model?"
Joy could hear talks about her and she started feeling awkward.... This was strange.
Its not like that was her first time being praised like that, she just felt strange because the eye that were on her was too much. She had to get out of here.
She walked as fast as she could and entered into her classroom.
"Phew.....that's better". She looked around the classroom thinking no one was there but there he was... Ryan. Even if he rested his head on the table, Joy knew it was him.
Well, she didn't know why she smiled though....
