As Aireal pressed his advantage, Nina was forced to dodge and block at an increasingly frantic pace. Despite her best efforts, Aireal landed a devastating blow, sending her crashing to the ground.
"Nina!" Rohan shouted, his voice filled with panic.
Aireal sneered as he approached her. "You're strong, but you can't protect him forever."
Nina, struggling to her feet, glared at him defiantly. "I won't let you touch him."
But Aireal was done playing games. He raised his hand, summoning a dark, crackling energy. "Let me shut your mouth once and for all."
Rohan's heart pounded as he watched the scene unfold. His hands clenched into fists, and a surge of raw emotion coursed through him. He couldn't let Nina face this alone.
Suddenly, an intense power erupted from within him. Dark, swirling smoke enveloped his body, and a small horn began to protrude from the left side of his forehead. His eyes glowed with an otherworldly light.
Before Aireal could strike, Rohan charged forward, moving with incredible speed. He delivered a bone-crushing punch to Aireal's gut, sending the general flying back several miles.
Aireal groaned as he struggled to stand. "What… what is this power?"
Rohan didn't reply. He stood tall, his form radiating a dark yet controlled energy.
Nina's eyes widened in awe and relief. "Now, kill him!" she commanded.
Aireal, realizing he was outmatched, attempted a counterattack. He launched a flurry of punches, but Rohan dodged them effortlessly, his movements almost a blur. With precision and strength, he struck Aireal again, this time aiming for his chest.
The force of the impact left Aireal gasping for air. "You… you'll regret this," he hissed. Summoning a portal, he retreated, his parting words echoing ominously: "This isn't over. I'll be back."
As the portal closed, the battlefield fell silent. The oppressive energy dissipated, leaving only the faint sound of the wind.
Rohan's body returned to normal as the dark aura faded. Exhausted, he fell to his knees beside Nina, who had collapsed from her injuries.
