Once they reached home, they changed
into comfortable clothes and headed
downstairs for dinner. The atmosphere
was cozy, and the food was comforting,
but an undercurrent of tension
remained. Samuel tried to focus on their
conversation, asking Hana about her day
and her classes, but his mind kept
drifting back to the threat looming over
them.
After dinner, they decided to take a walk
in the garden. The night air was cool and
refreshing, providing a brief respite from
their worries. Samuel held Hana's hand
as they strolled along the garden paths.
"Hana, there are a few things I need you
to be careful about," Samuel began, his
tone serious but gentle. "Don't accept
any gifts from anyone unless they're
from me. And don't walk around alone.
If someone comes to pick you up
claiming I sent them, don't go with them
until you've confirmed it with me
directly."
Hana nodded, sensing the gravity of his
words. "I promise, Samuel. But is
everything really okay? You seem really
tense."
Samuel forced a smile, though it didn't
quite reach his eyes. "Everything's fine. I
just want to make sure you're safe.
You're the most important thing to me."
The next morning, Hana was jolted
awake by the ringing of her phone. She
groggily answered, recognizing the
voice of one of the university staff. "Miss
Hana, I'm afraid there's been an incident
on campus. Some of the buildings were
vandalized overnight, and there were
threatening messages. We thought you
should know."
Hana's heart raced as she quickly got
dressed and informed Samuel. They
hurried to the university, where they
found graffiti scrawled on walls and
broken windows. The messages were
clearly directed at Samuel, filled with
ominous warnings and insults.
Samuel's expression hardened. He
immediately called his men, instructing
them to increase security and keep a
close watch on Hana at all times. He
escorted Hana to her class, ensuring she
was safe before heading back to his
office.
Within hours, Leo returned with detailed
information. Andre had expanded his
operations, involving several key figures
and multiple locations. Samuel
formulated a plan that was as precise as
it was brutal. He would send a message
that no one could ignore.
Samuel called his lieutenants together
and laid out his strategy. "We will hit
Andre where it hurts most. Leo, you and
your team will target his top men. Make
it public, make it brutal. I want everyone
to know that messing with me and mine
has dire consequences."
The lieutenants nodded, their faces set
with grim determination. Samuel
continued, "We'll also cut off his supplylines. Hit his warehouses, destroy his
goods. Leave nothing standing."
That night, Leo and his team executed
Samuel's orders with ruthless precision.
They tracked down Andre's key men,
ambushing them in public places. The
attacks were swift and violent, leaving a
trail of blood and chaos. Each man's
body was left with a chilling message:
"This is what happens when you cross
the King."
Simultaneously, Samuel's forces raided
Andre's warehouses, setting them
ablaze. The fires lit up the night sky,
visible from miles away, a beacon of
Samuel's wrath. The losses were
catastrophic for Andre, crippling his
operations and sending a clear message
of dominance.
Samuel knew that this wouldn't be
enough to end the conflict, but it would
buy him time and send a strong
warning. He had one final message to
send to Andre. He arranged for one of Andre's men to be captured alive and
brought to him.
In the dimly lit basement of one of
Samuel's properties, the man was tied to
a chair, his face bruised and bloodied.
Samuel stood before him, his expression
cold and merciless.
"Tell Andre this," Samuel said his voice
low and menacing. "You make one more
move against Hana, and I will come for
you myself. There will be no place to
hide, no one to save you. You will suffer
like no one has ever suffered before."
The man nodded frantically, desperate
to escape the wrath of the King.
Samuel's enforcers released him,
ensuring he would deliver the message.
At his mansion, an Andre received the
news of the attacks and the message
from Samuel. His anger boiled over as
he opened the box containing the
severed head of one of his top men.
With a roar of fury, he hurled the box
across the room.
"Samuel!" Andre shouted, his eyes
blazing with rage. "You think you can
intimidate me? This isn't over!"
Back in his office, Samuel sat in silence,
contemplating the escalation. He
opened the hidden drawer and took out
the old photograph of him and Andre.
Despite the violence and hatred, a part
of him mourned the loss of their
friendship. But he knew there was no
turning back now.
His PA's voice interrupted his thoughts.
"Sir, Leo reports that all operations were
successful. The message has been sent."
Samuel nodded, locking the photograph
away again. "Good. Let's hope Andre
gets the message."
After ensuring that Andre received his
message, Samuel's thoughts turned to
Hana. He decided to pick her up from university and make the end of her day
special, to balance the worry with
affection. He stopped by a florist and
bought a bouquet of her favorite roses.
Then, he swung by a chocolatier for a
box of gourmet chocolates.
When he arrived at the university,
Samuel parked his sleek black
Lamborghini near the main gate,
causing heads to turn. Students and
faculty alike watched in awe as he
stepped out, carrying the bouquet and
chocolates. His imposing presence was
softened by the gentle smile on his face
as he waited for Hana.
Hana exited the building, her eyes
lighting up as she saw Samuel standing
there. She quickened her pace, a smile
spreading across her face.
"Samuel!" she called out, her voice filled with happiness and relief.
Samuel greeted her with a warm
embrace, handing her the roses and
chocolates. "These are for you, Hana. I
thought you might need a little pickme-up after your day."
Hana's eyes sparkled with delight as she
took the gifts. "Thank you, Samuel.
They're beautiful," she said, smelling the
roses and then giving him a kiss on the
cheek.
Samuel opened the car door for her,
making sure she was comfortable before
driving them back home. The ride was
filled with light conversation, their hands
intertwined as they drove through the
city. Samuel's protective nature was
evident, but he balanced it with
tenderness, making Hana feel cherished
and safe.
