Chapter 2 - The first trail

'What is this feeling? I feel powerful.' Lunar thought to himself while the power in his body increased, looking at his book that had a black and purple cover. He thought to himself:

'So this is my book, my soul.' He flipped the pages to the first page; he read, spell:void. Lunar focused on the word void.He felt that everything grew away like nothing could touch him, but his void wasn't physical; it was like there was something between everything and his soul. But he paid it no focus. What took his attention was the light shining in the distance.

It seemed to get closer and closer till the light was blinding. Something charged at Lunar; he dodged as if the world was in slow motion, giving him enough time to dodge swiftly.

Without breaking a sweat, examined his foe It seemed to be a humanoid monster with a broad body and looked like it could squish him to death it seamed to be burning with a flame so hot and bright that Lunar was blinded it took the abomination a second to attack him agine he dodged agine easily but this time it was faster and with each attack the abomination got faster and faster he focused the strength into his hand and dodged the abomination and punched it in the stomach with crushing force the abomination was taken aback but it attacked him faster and this time it almost hit him but he dodged swiftly and kicked the abomination in the stomach and with his crushing force the abomination was thrown meters back but Lunar wasn't going to wait for it to attack at this rate he would be on the receiving end of the abomination that was not a very pleasant idea Lunar charged at it, but it dodged and kicked Lunar, and before Lunar could even gather his composure, the abomination's fist connected with Lunar's face. He felt his jaw dislocate, but Lunar used his power the moonlight healing him, and before the abomination could contact an attack, Lunar blocked, then he threw the abomination away.

And began to hit it with a combination of attacks that, if the mountain they were standing on was on the receiving end, it would shatter in seconds, but the abomination didn't seem affected, so Lunar backed away and then used his void on the abomination that seemed to have an effect on it as the flames dulled; the abomination got weaker and weaker. Lunar started to attack it as the flames dulled; the abomination's life energy seemed to be devoured, and the abomination's flames were

fully taken out, it died.

another line appeared in his book: attack type spell: hell flame Lunar focused on the word hell flame, and as he thought about it, flames appeared in his hand, burning with the heat of a thousand suns. He threw it away, and as it left his hand, the snow turned to molten lava, and the once cold peak turned warm. Lunar had to decide where to go; in the end, he decided to go down to land, but he heard a howl in the distance: 'The wolves.' He thought as they got closer he summoned the hell flame; when they were in sight, he threw it at one of them. It got turned into burning mesh. The other wolves tried to attack him, but he kept dodging, but all of them attacked him at one time. They got his right hand and almost got his left, but he dodged. 'They are even faster than the abomination I killed earlier.' he thought, frustrated. He knew he couldn't kill them with hellfire alone, so he had to improvise. He focused on infusing the hell flame with the void; the once orange flame turned black. With purple highlights as he focused more, it grew to the size of the abomination that he acquired the flame from with its black glow after adding the void to it he threw it. It killed one of them as the wolf was getting devoured by the flame. It got out of its body, it curved its direction, and killed another one. It kept turning until the pack of about 7 wolves was lying on the floor, burning with a black flame. He realized that a young wolf looked to be a newborn; as it woke up, it paid no attention to the wolves lying on the floor but ran to the young boy, taking his breath; the wolf jumped on him, throwing him back, and started to lick him. The boy was relieved that it wasn't some abomination that was going to kill him in mere moments.

As he relaxed with his back to the snow, the wolf slept next to him. Then he opened the book he read, familiar: Raven Wolf.
