Richard spoke, cutting the silence:
"Well kids, I need you to sign some paperwork, you know, as a formality."
Lunar thought that this was his chance to add something:
"Richard, don't get shocked."
Lunar said, while a void appeared, and from that void walked a little girl dressed in a red dress with scarlet hair that was tied with a red ribbon and crimson eyes, Lunar started to explain:
"This is my daughter Scarlett, and I need to get her a citizenship and the paperwork. I don't want her to grow up as my familiar but as my daughter."
Richard pondered for a moment and spoke:
"It's not hard; the problem is we have to do her paperwork as if she was just born who should i put as the mother."
Lunar flushed didn't respond but Aurora took the chance and said:
"I can I'm his Soulmate anyway so who better fit."
He took a moment of silence and responded:
"You can leave it to me. I'll do you and Aurora's paperwork. You are dismissed, but I should let you know you're going to the writers academy. You'll stay in the same room and take the same classes. Take this paper, and it will tell you what to do."
He was reading the paper when Aurora peeked over his shoulder; he flinched but paid her no mind. Scarlett had taken the woman's hand and walked next to her.
The first thing they had to do was make the soul bond. They had to put their blood on the other book, but first they had to take a ride to the academy and create the bond there. They stopped a car and got in. They looked like a mini family. When they got to the academy, they made it through the halls till they got to the room. When they got there, Lunar started cursing the old man. There was only one bed, only big enough to fit two people, not three. He meant to do this. He went to Aurora and asked for the needle, he put a drop of blood on Aurora's book, it was a light gray and with a white that looked like marble which ment that she can control light book. After that he pondered and told Aurora:
"Don't get shocked."
Aurora shrugged until she saw the book, her calm personally disappearing. She said in shock:
"Where did you get that from?"
Lunar thought and then replied:
"My trail."
Seemingly hastening, put the blood on the cover of the cosmic void.
[Soul bond created.]
A beautiful voice sounded in his ear, he checked his book:
Items:
[Void sword]
Spells:
[Void flame]
[Void]
[Void control]
Familiar:
[Scarlett, the raven wolf]
Soulmate:
[Aurora]
'Well, I guess they added her name in my book.'
Lunar thought, but he heard a word come out of Scarlett's mouth that made him open his eyes in shock:
"Mommy, when can I eat?"
Lunar stared at the. Whilst Aurora replayed:
"In a bit, sweetheart."
'Sweetheart!' Lunar thought he almost had a mental breakdown. He had a good mental fortitude, but not when it came to Scarlett.
Lunar spoke; his tone almost scared the girls:
"When did you get so close?"
Scarlett replied:
"Daddy, are you mad at Mommy?"
Lunar lowered his tone and replayed as he put on a jacket:
"No, not at all, don't worry. I'll be heading to the training hall if you need me."
Lunar walked out, and going through the hall, he heard the students speaking about the assessment that was going to happen tomorrow. He put his mind on winning it, and nothing could stop him. He won't even use his other spells; only void—that's all he needs.
Lunar hit a dummy with his sword. He decided it was too easy. He went to the holographic simulator and put it on the max to see if he could beat it. The holograph was equal to a pure gray creature. It was faster and stronger than him, but it isn't as calculating as he is.
He summoned the onyx sword and used void:
"Let's get started."
Lunar went for the opening blow, the tall
holograph with the shape of a dragon with black, hard skin and eyes as dark as Lunar's void. Lunar's blow connected, not dealing lots of damage, but Lunar was 2 ranks above the creature. Something Richard failed to mention was that all corrupted creatures are tier 1. If they were humans, of course, that doesn't mean that a tier 1 can beat a corrupted pure black, but that helped Lunar, that meant that he is equal to a young pure black, but he couldn't beat an ancient terror, it means that this should be easy, but it wasn't. For some reason, the dragon was faster and stronger than Lunar, but Lunar kept going, swing after swing, but the only spell he could use was void.
'One void flame would finish this, but no, it would turn this whole campus into nothing, not even air.'
He thought maybe void control could help; if it was for a split second, he would win. He thought where to use it; there was only one place to void the holograph: its heart.
Lunar knew that, and in a split second, Lunar used his spell, and the whole holographic device broke, with the room going dark the moment he used his spell.
'This will be useful.'
