Synopsis
A young girl finds herself, stuck in a cycle of violence. Slowly losing her mind for what she thought was love. This is an awareness of Domestic Violence, power and control, and the destruction of one self. “Do not look in his eyes for answers. Do not look to him for kindness. Don’t hold your eyes down when he tells you you’re dirt. Look up. Look for women. Listen to what they tell you. Block your ears to his poison. Let women’s love show you the way out and then never look at him again. See your future clearly. It will be bright and clear and you will shine in it.” (Jean Hatchet – Survivor of Male Violence)

Chapter 1 - Let It Crumble

If you were looking for a love story, you may want to close this slowly and don't look back. Ironically, it is something that I could not do time after time. It doesn't start like how it ends; however, I wish it had started how it ended. Otherwise, I wouldn't have felt my world crumble.

We don't really know ourselves till we reach the very lowest point of life. Till you become aware of people's true colors and intentions as you ask to be saved from the overflowing flood of your mess. Not until you are drowning and you can't even scream for help because you've got nothing left. Or maybe they watch as they save others while you drown, regardless you learn from it. Or you get stuck in the current.

Don't get stuck in the current, you'll never get out unless you drown.
