Synopsis
'Death...death, was all I could think of at this very moment. It scares me, and yet it doesn't, since we'll all end up dead someday eventually, right?' There was absolutely nothing I could do. Nothing for me to do, because I had no power to do so. And even if I did, would that change things for the better, or for worse? Everything comes with a price and for most, they become consequences. Each one regrettable than the first - a fear that rattles me beyond belief. It was already, March 25th and the news was tragic - beyond tragic, there were so many things to do and say, things that I am not yet ready to say, but willing to do. That was what I thought when I first met him. The night was young, and it was pouring down heavily. But, he was just standing there, under the rain, looking down at me with those intimidating eyes that I almost gave up hope of ever enjoying life to it's fullest. "I think you should go home." He stared down at me with those eyes, void of emotions, and it seemed like I was being pierced by the cold itself, as I stood rooted to the spot. But when he turned his back to me and started walking away, I thought about my situation right now. I thought of the mess I was already in. Deep down I couldn't. I just couldnt let him go, no matter what! I need to change my fate. So I raced up to him, just as he was about to get into his already awaiting ride, I called out to him. "Wait!" Once I raced up to the tall man, I was already panting for air. Although scared beyond my wits, I still managed to say the words that kept replaying in my mind, "let's get married."

Chapter 1 - First Encounter

Navier heard voices, which belonged to a young lady.

"You can't do this to me, I love you!" She hid beside her parked car, and with the help of the dark garage, she was able to conceal her existence from the people arguing.

Navier peaked through her car window, to see a tall lady, with great physic talking to a man who was really tall, and covered in a black business suit. Surprisingly, he hadn't said anything to the woman, who had been spewing out words.

"Its over Vivian. Its not my fault you broke the contract." He finally said, and Navier couldn't help but wonder how a man can have such a deep voice.

"But..." the lady tried to initiate, but she was immediately dismissed by the tall man.

"Take her home." He ordered one of his men, who finally emerged from the shadows. Navier had no idea that someone else apart from herself was there as well.

The man grabbed hold of the lady's arm gently ushering her out. Yet, the lady refused to leave.

"Fine. But can't you give me another chance? I promise, I won't say those words again, I won't bridge the contract again."

Navier gasped, when she finally recognized the voice of the lady who was now looking at the tall man.

'Isn't that Vivian Torres, the famous actress?' Navier wouldn't have recognized her famous idol if she wasn't a fan. But she managed to recognize her even in the dark, when she said those words. That was also the same line she used in the movie 'Fences.'

'Could it be that they might be in a movie shoot right now?' Navier thought still staring with curiosity brewing up, like the storm itself.

'But isn't it too late for shooting right now?' Navier stared at her watch, bearly making out the time due to the darkness. But judging by the time, it was already 10:30 pm. She needed to go home, but she also needed to know what was going on.

"I can't do that." The man answered, his voice void of emotion, that Navier questioned how a man could be so cold hearted, towards a woman.

The lady started sobbing, surprising the other person who was still hidding in her spot like a bunny, afraid of being captured.

"You're so cruel!" The lady suddenly spat out in rage, which both scared and surprised Navier.

She never knew that a lady like vivian, who was one of her idols, had this kind of personality.

"Is this because you have someone else?!" The man who just stood there in the dark watching as the actress kept rambling out threats, and curses at him, gave his man a nod to take her out of there, and so the man did, just as his boss had ordered.

"I'll find her, and I will end her!" She kept yelling at him, while being dragged away from there. Navier watched in shocked after hearing those words from her idol.

'She doesn't mean that, right?' She asked herself as she kept looking at the lady being dragged away.

'I'm sure she just said that because she's hurting right now.' Navier consoled herself from the negative words she had just heard.

When she peaked back at the man, to see that he too was also leaving the place. But then he stopped, and quickly turned back, having the feeling of being watched. Navier ducked lower than the first time, just so she could blend in with the darkness.

The man studied the place with his eyes, a frown sitting on his face, as he was ready to end anyone who had witnessed what had just occured. His eyes fixated on one particular car parked beside the pillar. When he didn't notice any sign of life, he turned around; walking away again.

Navier held her breath, in the silent garage. Although it was raining, she doubted that the man would be able to hear her. When she heard him walk away again, Navier was almost about to sigh in relief when her phone rang out in the dark garage.

"All my friends just wanna be famous!" The phone buzzed out in its loudest volume, that Navier flinched in shocked.

That was when the man stopped in his tracks, and turned around.

"Go get the person lurking around back there. Now." He ordered in a cold tune. His men obeyed, and approached the car which Navier was taking shelter from.

Navier, who was still trying to think of a solution to flee, let out a frightened scream when someone grabbed hold of her arms, and dragged her out from her hiding place. She shivered in fright as she kept fidgeting, trying to break free from the holds of her captives.

"W-wait! I can explain!" She tried explaining, still struggling to break free from captivity, but it seemed that their hands were made of steel.

Finally she was brought to the man, who had ordered her capture. Navier instantly saw the height difference, and she dared not look up or else...

She managed to scan his expensive attire- everything about him screamed wealth.

"Who are you?" His deep voice inquired. A flash of lighting was seen after his question, and Navier couldn't help but gulp, getting the feeling that she should be saying her last prayers.

"Don't make me ask again." He warned the scared lady who stood before him not knowing what to say, to get herself out of this mess.

'Father, help me.'
