Chapter 7 - World Coordinates!

After hearing Treiko, the other deputy senators seemed impressed by that, so one after another everyone approved of it.

When it was Teviz's turn, he only paused for a second, but in the end, he also approved of it.

"Summon the alien!"

The order came from the man in the leading seat. Not long after, Arohan and the armored man entered the room.

Arohan looked nervous and panicked as he saw so many eyes staring at him at once. At the same time, he could also feel a pressure emanating from deep in his body. It was as if his body was urging him to kneel and revere the people in the room.

His urges were winning when the orb suddenly acted and the pressure disappeared. Arohan became excited immediately as he thought that the orb was finally going to save him, but there was no response after the pressure disappeared.

The people in the room saw the sudden excited expression on the alien's face.

"Introduce yourself, alien from another plane!"

Treiko asked and a sudden pressure acted on Arohan.

The pressure didn't urge him to kneel or revere but it seemed to act physically on him. He had a feeling that if he lied, the pressure would suddenly grow and his body would be in a terrible situation.

"Um, hello seniors, I am Arohan. I am as clueless as you as to what I am doing here. So please don't experiment on me. We are all humans after all."

Arohan was nervous at first, but he soon forced himself to calm down and responded.

His voice still had hints of nervousness and panic, but he could make the statement clearly, so it was fine.

He didn't dare mention the orb as he had a feeling deep in his heart that he shouldn't reveal it at all.

The people in the room were taken aback by Arohan's statement, and then looks of surprise appeared on their faces.

Considering what Arohan said, his world didn't have any contact with other worlds or he would have never talked about experimenting on the aliens.

"Are you trying to act clueless or are you really one?"

Now it was Arohan's turn to be surprised. He didn't expect such a straightforward question, but how could he tell the people in the room that he came here due to the orb, so he simply nodded, affirming that he had no idea at all.

Arohan knew he was taking a big risk by lying as the feeling of pressure was still there, but his risk paid dividends and nothing happened.

On Earth, there were numerous stories of people suddenly traveling to other space-times, so he wasn't as clueless as he thought. Since people on this planet were still not beyond his comprehensive ability, he could use those examples to act in a certain way.

The people in the room asked some more questions, but Arohan answered them immediately. At first, he was nervous and panicked and it was clearly visible in his voice, but as time passed, he calmed down completely.

Arohan had lived his entire life in the public eye due to his parents. After his parents died, the scrutiny on him grew even more. He remained the same as ever even then but he learned how to talk publicly so his public image wouldn't humiliate his parents.

At the same time, he needed to be a smooth talker to impress women and it worked wonderfully for him.

"Share the coordinates of the world you originally came from?"

Arohan raised his eyes in surprise and looked at the man who asked the question. The man met his eyes with a majestic expression as if he needed to answer the question.

"I don't know it."

Arohan didn't need to think much since he clearly didn't know what were the coordinates of planet Earth in the universe.

Even though he had read many stories and watched movies and shows about there being aliens, he didn't believe in it. He was one of those minority men who had no interest in science and space at all. He only loved women and that was it.

The people in the room weren't very surprised about it and didn't even care much since they already had a device for that.

The leading men on the table looked at the armored man and nodded at him.

Immediately after, the man left the room and not long after returned with a sphere-like device. It was an opaque orb that looked like a stone.

Arohan didn't know what was going on but didn't have to remain in the dark for long.

"Put your hand on it!"

The armored man ordered him, extending the orb toward him. Arohan didn't have a good feeling about it, so he remained still but immediately grabbed the orb when he saw the armored man taking a step toward him.

At the same time, he cursed the armored man and the other people in the room in his mind.

As soon as he grabbed the device, it came to life. It began glowing in the same color as countless stars in the space.

The next moment, the device glowed even more brightly, but after a few moments, it stopped and returned to its stone-like form.

Now it was time for the people in the room to be surprised. The device would point out the coordinates of the world from which Arohan came, but since it didn't, it could only mean one thing; Arohan's original world was more than a million light years away from Yavar. It was the range of their device.

Yavar had more advanced devices, but their city didn't have one. Only the cities in Middle Earth had the devices with higher ranges.
