"Which Gods do you worship in your world?"
A deputy senator asked after a pause. Gods had immense influence on everything on the universe.
Since Arohan came from a world that was very far from Yavar, they might worship a different God, and even Gods had their camps. Followers of Gods took the rivalry between Gods seriously since Gods are beings beyond comprehension.
Things like rivalries were just pastimes for them to spend some time of their eternal lifespans. Some Gods had intense enmity due to some reason so if Arohan came from a world that followed an enemy God, the deputy senators would have to kill Arohan.
Arohan didn't know what to answer as even he knew how deeply religion was embedded into society and listening to the reverence the man had when he asked about the Gods, he had a feeling that religion played an even larger part in this world.
'Which God should I name?'
Arohan thought in his mind since there were many religions and cults in his world and they worshipped a different Deity.
"Before light touched the void, there was He, the Original One, whose breath forged the stars and whose gaze shattered infinities. From His essence came all things, and in His passing, the boundless was born. Glory to the First, who made the heavens tremble and the multiverse sing, for all that is, owes its being to Him."— Revelation 1:4
Suddenly a verse rang in his mind and even someone atheist like him fell into a reverential atmosphere.
"I worship the Original One!"
Arohan didn't even know when and how, but he had already uttered the name of a God he knew nothing about.
The deputy senators in the room who were curious to know about the Gods worshipped by Arohan lost all their curiosity at that moment.
The Original One was a known God that had many worshippers and since neither God had conflict with Him, nobody cared about the specific devotees of that religion.
Arohan finally came around and was surprised by what he said, but when he saw the ease of expression in the people's faces, he breathed a sigh of relief.
He didn't want to come this far and get killed just because he said the name of the wrong God.
"Trita City welcomes you as long as you follow the rules."
"Take him to the administration department and inform him of the things he needs to learn before letting him go on his own in the city."
Bidez announced since there was nothing else left to ask. They still had doubts but that would be slowly solved as Arohan spends more time in the city.
The armored man nodded, gave a salute to all the eleven deputy senators, and left the room. Arohan hurriedly followed the man. He no longer felt panic since the man's words made it clear that he was no longer in danger of dying.

Arohan was sitting in a comfortable cabin with a couple of books lying on the table. Near the book, there was a small container containing blue liquid.
If Arohan had a microscope and he tried to see through the blue liquid, he would see numerous tiny termites-like beings clustered together.
The people from the administration office had told him to drink the serum as it would help him learn the common language of this world.
Arohan finally learned at that time how the people were so fluent in his native language. He didn't trust the people here, but if he wanted to survive there, he needed to learn the local language.
Higherups can learn his language but not the layman of the city. After a long pause and struggle, Arohan gritted his teeth and drank the serum at once.
The orb also had some influence in doing that. It had helped him since the start, so he hoped if things could go wrong, he would again have help.
The serum immediately dissolved in his mouth, and a huge rush of information spread in his head. He clutched his head in pain and began to throw his hands and legs.
After a minute, things came to a sudden stop. Arohan was lying down on the ground in a pool of sweat.
His entire body seemed to be drained of blood as he took repeated large deep breaths to calm his heart down.
After several minutes, he finally stood up. The people seemed to have anticipated such a reaction, so there was already a towel and a new set of clothes prepared for him.
Arohan didn't care about that, but he wanted to take a bath since his entire body was smelling and cold water could calm his nerves down.
He immediately walked to the door and knocked on it.
"Do you want something?"
"Yes, I want to take a bath. Where is the place for it?"
"Eh!"
Arohan couldn't help but exclaim in surprise after responding since what he spoke wasn't his native tongue but the random jumbled words he couldn't understand before.
He couldn't help but marvel at the situation. He already knew the world and the horrors in it were beyond his comprehension but he still felt surprised by it.
He couldn't help but think what if he had that kind of technology on earth, what wonders it would have caused as the concept of language was deeply associated with identity?
In a world where you can learn any language in a minute, that personal connection with the linguistic identity would disappear for the majority of the world.
Arohan removed those thoughts and looked at the man who was placed here to help him until he learned things about this city.

Arohan looked stupefied and shocked as he saw the door to the bathroom. In the cabin allotted to him, there was a button below the sofa. Arohan needed to press that button and the door for the bathroom would reveal.
'What kind of secret place is bathroom in this world?'
He couldn't help but think that since which sane person would put a secret button below the sofa to go to the bathroom?
