"What?" Logan asked his pet, who began roaring at him immediately as he walked in. "What? I don't deserve the crown right?."
He pulled out the desk chair , he slowly took off the crown, smiling at the animal that kept wagging its tail left and right.
"Hey, look, I've taken it off, it's me Logan," he said to the pet, squatting in front of it.
"Do you know how I feel?," he asked and the pet made a strange sound, making Logan scoff.
"I also don't want this crown."
"My lord.....," the butler walked in about to say something, but he paused and flinched, staring at the glowing crown on Logan's table.
"My prince is this yours?," the butler asked Logan who stood up, leaving his pet to run along. "I mean, were you made the crown prince?."
"Why's your face like that?," Logan asked, already seated. "Ain't you happy?,"
The butler's face was flooded with so many emotions, excitement was so visible in his voice.
"My lord, I'm so happy but it's more like a surprise to me," the butler honestly responded.
"Hmmm," Logan hummed, searching for something on his table.
"My lord, I said it, I mean I have always dreamed of you becoming king. You're so capable and deserving of...."
"Do you want something?," Logan interrupted.
The butler shook his head at Logan, with the smile still plastered on his face.
"Good, leave. I have work to do."
The butler bowed, staring at the crown one more time before turning around to leave. Getting to the door, he stole another glance at the crown before he walked out, shutting the door.

"Father," Xander roared, walking into his father's chamber. "Father, with all due respect, how could you do something like this? Gavin is still unconscious and you went ahead to crown Logan."
The king exhaled deeply, staring at his bothered son.
"Do you think Logan will be allowed into the throne room if it was left to me?," the king asked, dismissing the servants around.
"So they all decided you crown Logan?," Xander asked and the king nodded with his eyes closed, anyone could see how stressed out he was.
"But I thought mom said he's an illegitimate son, that coward has a beast in him."
"Xander watch your words, they are sharp," the king chided
"I don't care father, Logan can't rule while I'm alive, he can't rule over me. Never!," Xander yelled storming out of the chamber.

"So Saraphina, what are your hobbies?," Castro (the suitor) asked Seraphina who was staring into the cup in her hands, she found it more interesting than him.
"No." She muttered.
"Pardon," Castro said, straining his ears.
"I've no hobby," she half yelled.
"Really?, you have no hobbies?," he questioned.
"Yes, all I know is that I enjoy watching soldiers fight," she responded.
"That's strange," he muttered.
Saraphina said nothing else to him, creating an awkward silence, she just continued staring into the cup and smiling at herself.
"May I know what puts a smile on your adorable face?," Castro tried to break the silence.
Saraphina hissed when she was interrupted from her thought, she turned to him, irked .
"Are you done?."
"Uhhhh?," Castro furrowed, confused.
"I guess nothing is wrong with your ears. I asked if you were done?," she fired.
"Okay I can see you have nothing to say."
The young man stared at Saraphina in confusion, he was taken aback by her words.
"I don't like you, and I would never wish for a husband like you, so in conclusion, it can't work between us. Look for some other classless princess, I'm too expensive for someone like you," Saraphina voiced, rolling her eyes as she stood up and left, leaving the shocked man behind.

"Please you need to let me in, my sister is in there, I need to speak to her," Peggy pleaded with the soldier at the gate who won't let her pass.
" Peggy I'll leave you behind if you don't want to leave. Just take a look at him, does it look like he can hear you?," Michael questioned.
Peggy stood up on her feet, beating out the sands on her body.
She turned to Michael who raised his shoulders indicating that he had no option.
"Let's go," Michael said to Peggy who shook her head in response.
"You won't get help here."
"Oh okay," Peggy said, staring at the huge gate one more time, she sniffed in the tears before climbing the horse, and Michael rode away.

Lashonda sat on the cold ground of the cell, trying not to look at the huge woman next to her.
"Hey," the lady finally broke the silence.
"I don't want trouble," Lashonda said, looking at the scary looking lady.
"Do I look troublesome?," the girl scoffed.
"Uhmmm," Lashonda couldn't find the perfect response.
"I might look troublesome, but I'm not," the girl assured, and Lashonda just nodded.
"Why are you here?," she asked.
"By the way, my name is Moana, and you?"
"Lashonda," she replied.
"You are so young and beautiful. Why are you here?," Moana continued.
" I owe the castle."
"Owe the castle?," Moana asked, confused.
"Yes, we supplied the castle with fish, we collected an advance payment but couldn't make the supply," Lashonda explained.
"Ohh. So why are you the one here? Are you the eldest in your family?."
"No, but I'm the cause, I'm just taking responsibility," Lashonda replied.
"And you, why are you here?."
"I was accused of murder," came her casual response. Lashonda flinched, staring surprisingly at her.
"Yes, even if I'm not a suspect, the king decided to keep me here."
"Really, didn't they catch the real killer?," Lashonda asked, interested.
"No, he committed sucied, leaving a note behind," Moana added, making Lashonda lift her hand to her mouth.
"The real killer is the son of a close friend of the king, that's the reason he arrested me without proof. They said I sent someone who threatened to kill himself and drop a note, so I can be set free, even if every allegation was pointing to him."
Lashonda shook her head feeling sorry for the girl she just met.
"But why's the king being unfair?," Lashonda questioned.
"Like I said, the killer was the son of a minister, a very high one at that. That's the reason he wants people to see me as the culprit."
"So you're saying the king is unjust?," Lashonda whispered.
"He isn't just unjust, he's wicked," Moana answered leaving Lashonda speechless.
"He poses as a good man but he isn't, don't be deceived by the judgment he passes, sometimes he kills the innocent for his own benefit."

Queen Zenith was seated in the garden, with her legs deepened in a bucket, her eyes were shut as she inhaled the sweet scent of the healthy flowers.
"Mom," Seraphina called, walking up to her.
Queen Zenith quickly opened her eyes, hearing the voice of her daughter.
"How was it?," she questioned.
"What?," she asked when Seraphina rolled her eyes.
"I don't like him."
"What do you mean you don't like him?."
"Mom he isn't my type," Saraphina replied, making her mom's anger accelerate.
"What do you mean? Are you stupid?,"Queen Zenith yelled.
"Mom, I don't like him, you can't force me."
"Saraphina, will you shut up your mouth, you've rejected so many suitors in the space of two months. Do you think you are getting younger?."
"Mom there's nothing wrong with me, if I see a man I like I'll surely get married," Saraphina fired at her angry mother.
Queen Zenith glared at her for a while, she took her leg out of the little bucket, she stood up and pushed Saraphina out of the way, storming away in anger.
