Chapter Seven.
Meeting the Brown family in San Francisco is a great privilege one could have in a lifetime, and now that Vivian is meeting this family, her joy knows no bond.
"Mom! Give more details" She muttered and pout cutely while trying to gain her mother's attention.
Eugene stared at her for a while with a smile on her face, she knew what Vivian was going to ask. "You don't have to worry about anything; I've told your father to set things up with the heir, I mean Richard Brown," She explained calmly. However, Vivian's scream pierced the air as she jumped for joy.
Everything she ever wanted was to get in the spotlight, especially having a relationship with someone wealthy, and now, she was pretty sure when Richard set his eyes on her, he wouldn't be able to resist her charming beauty.
"Thanks, Mom, you are the best!" She uttered, raising her thumb.
"Don't tell me you are leaving Young Master Williams...." Eugene knew Vivian's plan; she loved to do something good and later abandoned it when she didn't need them. It seems Vivian was trying to pursue Richard and leave Williams behind.
Vivian groaned irritably the moment Williams was mentioned; it was obvious that she aimed for him because of Mia, and now that Mia was gone, it was her time to do what she wanted. After all, Williams was just an infamous Young Master, while Richard Brown was a big fish for her. Someone like Richard Brown is worth her time, heart, and status.
"C'mon, Mom, I didn't say anything about that; I'm only glad about meeting Richard Brown in person. At least I can confirm the real person myself instead of a stupid guy who lied the other day," Vivian said; however, at the end of her statement, she suddenly felt the urge to strangle Richard. It was annoying that someone like him claimed to be the one and only Richard Brown.
Eugene could see through Vivian, and she knew all her plans. "You don't have to hide it from me; you know I will always support you in everything," She reassured Vivian with a warm smile. Eugene didn't care about anyone else if not her daughter's happiness, because that mattered the most to her as a good mother.
"Thanks, Mom!" Vivian hugged her tightly; she knew her mother would always support her.

Even though her hair was a little bit wet, Mia still appeared stunning in the T-shirt that stopped above her knee length. Richard could wear the shirt with a tuxedo, while Mia makes it look like she is wearing a gown as it shows the difference in their height.
They are sitting next to each other with the two grandparents sitting beside each other respectively.
"It has been a while since Richard visited us, so I made some delicacies for you specially," Old Madam Brown said as she pushed the plate closer to Richard, who had a smile on her face.
If not for the weary look, one could have thought the Old Madam was Richard's mother because of the way she took care of him and knew Richard's preferences.
"Thanks, Grandma," He muttered with a smile.
Mia took a few seconds to stare at Richard; it was a habit for a billionaire heir like him to be arrogant, cold, and distant. However, Richard seems a bit different from others; right from the time he came to the Guilford household, she has been taking a record of him. Why did he choose to park his car far away from the household? Was he intending to hide his identity all along?
Or did he hide that fact to save her? If Vivian knew Richard was a true heir, she wouldn't hesitate to take the lead and leave her in the shadows.
"I could see that Mia was truly in love with my son. She has been staring for a while now." Old Madam Brown, who has been monitoring Mia's gaze, finally speaks out, causing Mia to choke on her breath.
Immediately, Richard's ear turned red after hearing his grandmother. Every feeling seems strange to him; he only met Mia a few days back, and he has been feeling all sorts of feelings towards her. What the heck is happening to his emotions?
"Isn't it natural for couples to stare at each other? C'mon, let my baby Mia stare at her husband as much as she wants, " Old Madam Scottish replied with a smile.
Even though Mia was the granddaughter of a Scottish family, Old Madam Brown still found it awkward to believe someone like Richard could get married easily without their consent. She knew the kind of person Richard was, not even after his girlfriend left him back then. To her, at first, it was like Richard was lying to them about Mia; however, when she saw Mia staring at Richard earlier and the way Richard's ears turned red, she smelled love between them.
"It's fine then! This Old woman won't argue with you! Just don't take too long to bring me a grandchild!" Old Madam said playfully.
This time, it was Richard who choked on water. Cough.....
"Don't be absurd, Grandma, we just started this marriage," Richard nagged instantly with his face flushed in embarrassment.
"I'm only trying to let you know, the earlier, the better." Old Madam Brown didn't back off; she stood on her point.
At that moment, it seems there were another two people who didn't appreciate the discussion, the two Old Masters. They have been trying to concentrate on their meals peacefully, however, it seems the two Old women won't stop anytime soon.
Old Madam Brown was about to respond when the Old Master cut her off. "Can we eat in peace now?" Even in his old age, everyone knew Old Master Brown was a disciplined man.
Once he shot a glare, he meant nothing but silence.
After his question, silence emerged in the room as they continued to eat peacefully, not until a voice rang out…
A sudden shock sparked within Mia when the statement was made. "Vivian Guilford is here!"
