Chapter Eleven.
They all turned in the direction where the voice came from, and a satisfactory smile appeared on Williams's face when Mr Allen walked towards him.
"Young Master Williams, it's good to have you here." Mr Allen bowed; he happened to be the manager of the boutique. He recognized Williams as one of the regular VIP customers and he treated him specially.
Williams felt more pride when Mr Allen showed up, he had planned to embarrass both Richard and Mia. Seeing the manager at that moment is like a Golden ticket for him.
"It's good that you are here, Mr Allen. I want those two idiots out immediately! Poor people like that don't belong here!" Williams ordered, his finger pointing straight to Richard and Mia.
Richard clenched his fist tightly; he could take all the insults, but adding Mia was what he wouldn't tolerate. "Watch your words, dumbass; no one talks to my wife in that manner," He warned sternly, his fave showing a dark expression that he has kept for a long time as he shot a deadly glare at Williams.
Williams laughs out loud; he finds Richard unbelievable for protecting Mia. "Hey, man! You have nothing to say here as a poor guy; you should listen to the higher-ups if you intend to get high in life." Turning to Mr Allen, Williams shouted, "Get them out of here! Now!"
"I'm sorry, Mr Williams, I will get them out instantly." Mr Allen turns to Richard with a disdainful look and sneer. "If you know you are going to annoy our VIP customers, you should kindly leave. This boutique isn't for someone like you"
Richard could only laugh silently as he found everything funny; he wasn't respected in his own boutique and his staff was even sending him out. That's so rude!
"You want me to leave??? And you still want your job after this???" Richard asked in a repeating tone as he watched Mr Allen's reaction.
However, Richard's response once shocked everyone in the boutique. Soon, people start muttering hateful comments about Richard, and those women who are drooling over his face begin to regret their actions as they find him annoying with so much pride.
"And who are you if I may ask?" Mr Allen demanded with a distant gaze as he found Richard's questions disrespectful.
Richard took a deep breath and replied nonchalantly. "If I should tell you who I am, you will be on your knees begging to clean my shoes"
The calm expression on Richard's face ignited Mr Allen's anger, and he moved to Richard before hitting his cheeks hard, and his lips burst in the process. "How dare you! No one has ever talked to me in that manner! I worked for the Brown family, and they won't allow anyone to mistreat their staff. I would advise you to get out of here with your legs or I dragged you out"
Mia couldn't take it any longer, she felt embarrassed and guilty. If not for her, Richard wouldn't have been ridiculed and bullied in public despite his high status. She was already aware of Williams and Vivian's plan; they wanted to disgrace her and Richard. If she didn't do anything about it, it might get out of hand.
Mia stood in front of Richard with her back while she stared at Mr Allen as she stood between the two. "I'm going to take it off, just stop all this! I will return the gown!" She uttered under a firm gaze as she tried to protect Richard in her way.
Richard was still licking the blood on his lips when Mia backed him and her statement made him more furious. He hated the fact that she accepted defeat, indicating that he couldn't afford the gown.
"And what is the meaning of that? Are you trying to say that I couldn't afford the gown??" He makes Mia face him and he pulls her to his face with an angry expression. His teeth gritted hard, and his veins crept out of his skin while trying to hold his anger in.
Mia could observe Richard's anger at the moment and she regretted saying that. However, she was already aware of Richard's capacity and it wasn't compulsory to show it to others since she believed him. "I'm sorry if that hurt your feelings, I know that you can buy the gown for me. However, I don't want the argument to continue further; I Just wanted to end things quickly," Mia explained calmly.
Now, Richard's anger intensifies. "By accepting defeat??? Is that how to end things quickly??"
"I guess Mia already knows that you guys are losers; there is no point in dragging things out with people like us," Vivian finally speaks as she releases a mockery tone.
In a loud voice that echoes, Mr Allen ordered in a firm voice. "Securities! Drag them out!"
Soon the security rushed towards Richard and Mia as they wanted to drag them out before Vivian stopped them.
"Wait! I can't let her leave with that gown on! Pull it off, and then she can leave." Vivian had a smirk on; she was praying silently for Mia as she wanted her to have nothing underneath. This way, Mia will be more embarrassed in public.
Anger covered Richard's body instantly, his wife was being ridiculed. "You are going to regret this!" He said boldly.
Vivian laughed sarcastically and replied. "Let's see how you planned to make me regret then!"
"Take this thing off!!" Vivian ordered.
The female sales attendant moves to Mia and starts taking her clothes off.
"How dare you touch the young mistress!!!"
A voice that almost stops everyone's eardrum from working pierce the air as a heavy footstep walks in.
In front of this hefty man, a lady around the age of Mia was walking with a man who seemed a bit older. When they got in front of Mia, they all bowed.
"Pardon us for being late, Young Madam" The lady apologized.
At this moment, another set of people rushed in and a familiar face showed up as Kendrick rushe
d towards Richard.
"Who dares touch the Young Master Brown?!"
