Kim and Grae Jane were having a fun time talking about the traveler.
Well it was just her that was talking while Kim was just listening, which he didn't mind.
After hearing many things about this traveler, I didn't know that one person could represent [Freedom] at least not in my last world…
"I just wish, she stay a little longer…" she said. I could tell that Grae Jane was getting a little sad by the traveler's absence, she continued to speak, "I know it's a bit selfish… I just wish she just settled here and lived the rest of her life in this area."
She saw my expression and assured me that she was just joking around… but I could tell she wasn't.
I don't blame her, if I knew that a monster was living among us, I would want someone to protect me as well.
I looked at Vas Allen and he gave a faint smile, I nodded and smiled back.
Grae Jane got up from the floor and told me that she need to check on something. She wanted to make sure that her husband is getting better.
I nod and got up to find Uma Micheal and Luc Mugen, where have those little rascal been, I wondered?
Grae Jane walk up the stairs to the second floor, she turn to the left hallway and walk through the hallway til she reach the door that was on the right.
Before she could twist the knob to open the door, she heard a sudden crashed coming from the inside of the room where her husband were resting.
She quickly open the door to find the "Night Dreamer" standing on top of her husband. She let out a loud scream which could be heard from the downstairs.
When I heard the scream, I ran as fast I could upstairs while Vas Allen followed behind me.
"Go away!" Grae Jane yelled at the monster but it just snarls back at her. It spits out a disgusting goos toward her but Luc Mugen who was already on the second floor, blocks it with his barrier.
"R-run!" He said to Grae Jane. "But my husband!!!" She cried out to him but Luc Mugen don't know what to do in this situation, he had no idea how to save her husband.
Before Luc Mugen could make a choice, the monster took the husband and jumped back outside from where it entered from. I barely managed to get there on time and jumped on the "Night Dreamer" back.
Vas Allen looked at me with a awe expression but he snap out of it quickly, "Grae Jane! Stay here for a bit!" He could tell that Grae Jane was scared but she nodded at him.
"Don't worry, we'll get your husband back." Grae Jane let out a relief smile, "Thank you!" She said to Vas Allen.
Vas Allen jumped out of the way the "Night Dreamer" left through, Luc Mugen following behind him.
I was having trouble holding onto the "Night Dreamer" back's, it was moving in a zip zap pattern trying to get me to fall off.
I tried everything to get it to stop but no luck, it skin was too strong, it was smooth, tough, and maybe even tougher then diamond.
I once tried again to shoot out the magic I had absorbed but still no luck, nothing came out.
I was getting sleepy and I don't know why, I'm not the type to fall asleep easily at least not in this situation.
My body was having a hard time to not fall asleep, my mind wandered as I see little stars circling around my head. I was close to sleeping until I heard a voice… Uma Micheal voice to be exact.
"You really are useless!" She said with a smirk, she was standing on a tree branch. I looked up at her wondering why she was outside this late at night.
She caught a glimpse of my expression and shrugged it off. I have no time to think about it, now I just need to focus on the "Night Dreamer" I have to find a way to stop it.
Uma Micheal jumped down from the tree branch and stand in front of the "Night Dreamer" I looked at this with horror, I yelled for her to jump out of the way but she just stand there with a smirk.
Just as the "Night Dreamer" charge toward her, it had slammed into a barrier with full force.
I almost felt my grip releasing but I continued held on, I was shocked. I turn my head over my shoulder and saw Luc Mugen standing close to the "Night Dreamer" Aside from him was Vas Allen.
The "Night Dreamer" released Grae Jane husband from its grasp, his unconscious body lied on the muddy ground.
Before I could said anything, the "Night Dreamer" started moving rapidly, it begin launching at my friends with full speed, it was quick and swift.
I barely managed to clutch on but I was still at the back of the "Night Dreamer" it let a snarls, spraying it little gloo all over the areas.
Uma Micheal dodges it, Vas Allen counter it with his own spells, and Luc Mugen just simple block it with his barrier along with Grae Jane husband unconscious body.
The "Night Dreamer" has it eye on Uma Micheal. Seeing as she was the weakest one there. It leaped toward her while lashing out it claws.
"Yucks!" She said while dodging the "Night Dreamer" attack. It continued to attack Uma Micheal, I tried punching it back's to stop but it skin was too tough. Now that I looked at it closely, it look disgusting.
A monster which got four mouth, and each was inside of one another. The monster body was like a stick but it was fast, if I were to compare with it look's, something like a grasshopper would be comparable with it, but just because it look weak doesn't mean it is.
It skin was tough as a diamond, punching it repeatedly only hurts my hand. Of course it would be this tough to defeat, it is made by the [Demon King] it wouldn't be complete without it disgusting, horrific, and grossly looks.
It's claws was crooked but it looked like it could cut through anything.
"Dammit!" I muttered under my breath trying to find a way to stop this creature. The "Night Dreamer" lash his final attack on Uma Micheal and saw that it was going nowhere, so he leaped into the air and hop from one branch to another.
It knows that it couldn't mark anyone else so it decided to escape.
I was still holding onto it, it tried to get rid of me but I cling on, it spun around through the air trying to make me fall off while jumping toward another branch.
It speeds was fast and the breeze around us make it much harder for me to cling onto the monster, it was starting to get cold and the monster leaping from one branch to another didn't make it easier.
Before I had knew it, my fingers gave up, the grasping grips of my fingers have slipped causing me to fall onto the ground, luckily there was a bush that help me soften my fall but now the "Night Dreamer" will get away…
I stood in the middle of the forest, I looked around my surroundings but it was too dark to see.
I heard bushes rustling, sticks snapping, and leaves moving. I could tell the "Night Dreamer" haven't escape yet… but why?
Maybe it just me here and I'm a easy prey. Well touché… it's right though… I can't do anything to the "Night Dreamer" it probably have realizes that which is the reason why it still here…
The rustling kept getting louder, the sound came from all directions, I don't know where the "Night Dreamer" will jump out from.
Before I knew it, it lunges at me, his claws was lashing toward me. I barely managed to dodge his attack but the claw have scratch my cheeks, causing it to bleed a little.
It went back into the dark forest, it was trying to confuse me with it rapid movement … I continued to looked around, preparing myself to dodge the "Night Dreamer" attack.
After a moment of complete silence, I could tell it was making its move, the bush begins rustling, twigs begin snapping in two.
I ready myself but I could tell that I was getting sluggish, rather, it was my body that was feeling…
I didn't think too much about it, I was more focus on the "Night Dreamer" surprise attack.
I caught glimpses of it over the left side of my shoulder, it was charging at me from the back, it claws has managed to successfully to grasp onto my back.
I could feel the sharpness of its claws, as it gradually deepen into my skin, it felt as little chainsaw ramming through my spines.
I grunts out in pain as the "Night Dreamer" pin me down foward onto the ground, I could hear it snarling at me, I felt it breath breezing down at the back my neck.
I look over my shoulder, I saw it opening up it 4 mouth, it look disturbing as each mouth came out from the other.
It body crushes down my entire body, I was struggling to move, the "Night Dreamer" drool of gloo came close to my face, I watched as the acid burn away the leaves surrounding us.
Am I going to die? Possibly not… I kept on thinking that and yet I'm alive… I know that's Vas Allen and the other will come and help me.
I stared at the ground and closed my eye waiting for my friends to come and save me…
After a moments of silence, me not hearing any noise, I was confused, before I could open up my eye, I heard a familiar, nostalgic voice calling out my name…
It wasn't just from one person but two… two people that had raised me and has always loved me…
I slowly opened up my eyes and saw my parents standing in front of me.
I looked at my parent, I saw the worry expression on their faces, the same expression as mine… my mouth widen yet words wouldn't come out, eyes facing toward them and yet it was blurry…
I heard them calling out my name once more, I could hear their voice trembling, it turned from concern to relief.
"Kim?"
