Standing in front of my home gave me this uneasy feeling, I walked pass the shop that's have been run down for years to see it open up for the first time. "A game store…?" I muttered under my breath.
Walking pass that, a park that now look so much different then before—
"I thought it wouldn't change at all… yet the road is new and now there's a playground." Kim thought to himself.
Kim stood in front of the boring liabary, Vas Allen waited for him.
"Yet nothing change about this liabary…" He thought. Vas Allen stared at Kim and ask him if something was wrong.
"No. Everything fine!" Kim said.
These memory was felt was forever was just encoded into Kim mind. Kim as of right now is currently standing in front of his home, Kim for some reason felt uneasy but felt a hand patted his back.
"Let go Kim!" He looked to see that it was Vas Allen, his expression was comforting. Kim nodded, Vas Allen was the first to enter the house.
Kim for a moment step one step foward, froze for a moment and looked back onto the streets. A second passed by and he turn around and finally enter his house.
Once he enter his house, Luc Mugen came running, hugging Kim. This sudden action surprised Kim and he just chuckle, patting Luc Mugen head.
"Don't worry. I'm fine!" He said to Luc Mugen with a smile. Luc Mugen nodded by what Kim said.
"Are you sure you're fine now?" Kim heard a familiar voice over at the end of the hallway, he peered over Luc Mugen and saw Uma Micheal standing near the kitchen door.
Kim scratched his neck and assures Uma Micheal that he was fine.
"Hmm… alright. If you said so, but I'm a bit reluctant so imma just take your words for now!" Kim smile, glad that someone that have been in a tragic accident, caring for him.
"I promise!" Kim said, comforting Uma Micheal a little.
"Hmph!" She went back into the kitchen where Kim mom was cooking in there, cooking for Kim return.
"So this your home?" Kim looked at Vas Allen and nod to his question. Before Kim could fully move, he had to has Luc Mugen to stop hugging him for a second.
"Uhhh Luc, could you let go so I move?" Luc Mugen apologized and let go of Kim.
Kim reassured Luc Mugen that it's okay. Kim took of his shoes and finally step on the floor of his home, he walked down the hallway, passing the kitchen room where he saw Uma Micheal helping his mom with the foods.
On the room across was the living where his dad was currently sitting on the couch watching the TV. Kim dad caught a glimpse of Kim standing near the door.
"Kim! Are you ok?" He asked, Kim told him that he was fine and apologized to him.
"Kim if you're in any troubles, count on me!" Kim dad said as he went back to watching his TV, Kim chuckle and went up the stairs. Luc Mugen was tugging on Kim intrigued by the TV.
"Go ahead! You can sit down at that couch next to where my dad was sitting."
Vas Allen was following behind him, he had so many questions but he knows it wasn't the right time to ask.
Kim walked pass his parent rooms and stood in front of his own room. "Kim?" Vas Allen said.
"Hmm?"
"Is this your room?" Vas Allen ask, Kim with a smirk nodded. "Yep! This was where I spent most of my childhood!" Vas Allen looked at him.
"I don't think that's a flex…" Kim looked at Vas Allen, baffled by his reply.
"Of course you wouldn't get it." He fixed up his imaginary glasses with two finger. Vas Allen looked at Kim with embarrassment.
"I'm ashamed to call you my friend…" Vas Allen said. Kim smile at Vas Allen, but deep inside, he was a bit embarrassed, he feel a little cringe crawling down his back.
"Oh uhm Vas!" Vas Allen stares at Kim, waiting for what he was going to say.
"Could you wait out here for a bit while I go inside my room?" Vas Allen looked at Kim with a suspicious expression.
"Why, do you have something to hide?"
"No!" Kim abruptly shouted out, Vas Allen chuckled and told Kim that he was only joking.
"Yeah, I'll wait out here."
Kim stared at Vas Allen and smile.
"Thank you." He said, Vas Allen nods to his reply.
Kim open up his room door, stepping inside, he close the door behind him. Standing in his own room, he looked around, reminiscing all the thing he used to do in this very room.
"It been such a long time, haven't it?" He smile brightly, but soften with every second that have passed.
"I'm back." His voice softly echoed throughout his room. Kim notice the change of his room, it had been tidy up.
Walking toward his bed, he looked around to see everything he left a mess have all been clean up.
Standing in front of his bed, he briefly talked to himself.
"Mom… thank you. Even when I was gone for months, you still have taken care of me all these time." Kim got down on his knee, "All the pain I must've cause for you and dad… don't worry, I'm back now."
Kim got up and sat on the edge of his bed, he looked up at the ceiling.
"How is this a nightmare? This feel like a dream… A dream that I always wanted." Kim put his head down, grabbing his knee. "Even though I know it's fake… why do I still want to stay here?"
For a moment there was complete silence, Kim sat there, staring at his wall.
*Knock, knock!* Kim heard a knocking on his door, when he asked who it was.
"Its Vas Allen and I'm pretty sure I waited out here for a good amount of time now!" Kim apologized and told Vas Allen it was now okay to come inside his room.
Opening the door he sees two more people. "Yeah, these two was also waiting." Vas Allen said.
"Don't worry, your mom told me that she can handle with the rest of the food and to come to you." Uma Micheal said, Kim then looked toward Luc Mugen.
"Your dad told me to check on you…" Kim smile at his cute sadden worry toward him. Patted Luc Mugen and Uma Micheal head.
"Hey!" Uma Micheal screamed out but it wasn't loud, Kim reassured them that he is fine now.
Vas Allen smile and reminded Kim if they were going to his room or now since he is blocking the way.
"Oops! My bad." He stood aside of the door, the rest slowly enter, looking around his room.
Kim walked toward his closet door, opened up and rummage through his old stuff, after a few second, he find a portable folded up desk.
He went to the center of his room, unfolded up the desk and place it on the floor. Kim was the first one to sit down near the desk, followed up by Vas Allen.
Uma Micheal however walked toward Kim bed and sat on it, Luc Mugen seeing this, followed behind her.
"Hey! Get off of Kim bed's!" Luc Mugen said.
"Nah! Imma do my own things." Uma Micheal nonchalantly said.
Kim laughed at the two kids were bickering with eachother.
"So this is your room." Vas Allen said, this make Kim to look toward his direction.
"Yea! What you think?"
"It's normal." Vas Allen said.
Why does it feel like Vas Allen lived here before, like he know how our world work… does he got some of my memory implanted in him?
"Kim?" Kim didn't heard Vas Allen at first so he called out his name again.
"Kim!" This snap Kim out of his monologue inner lounge.
"Huh?"
"You was zoning out quite a bit."
"—Ah, my bad."
Vas Allen asked Kim what he's going to do now? Kim told him that he going to apologize to his parent though he do feel reluctant about it, he was scared.
Luc Mugen tugged on Kim arm, Kim looked at him and smile. "Sorry for worrying you." Kim glanced back at Vas Allen.
"As long as you guys are here, I'll be fine!"
Kim and his crew spent time in his room, Uma Micheal laying on his bed, Luc Mugen looking through Kim childhood pictures, and Vas Allen is talking with Kim.
