Ava's mouth fell open at Victoria's statement.
For a few moments, she stood there, completely thrown off balance. But when she finally gathered herself, she quickly plastered on her sweetest smile.
"I'm sorry, Ma'am, but I don't quite understand what you mean by that." Ava said softly.
Victoria scoffed and narrowed her eyes dangerously.
"Take that fake smile off your face and listen carefully to what I have to say about your boss." She stated with disinterest.
"Very well, ma'am." Ava replied and her smile instantly dropped as Victoria began listing off Ethan's strict professional requirements.
"First, you must never be late. Not even by a minute. Ethan doesn't tolerate tardiness. If you are supposed to be at his home at 8 AM, be there by 7:45. That's where you will firstly go before you two would come to the office together." Victoria stated firmly.
"May I know why he prefers that, ma'am?" Ava asked gently.
