Back at the amazon village, everyone emerged from Leah's house to find the training yard completely packed. Not only were more amazons training at once than usual, they had gotten up early to train.
A few of the currently training amazons shot Alex some sharp, appraising looks. They were clearly training harder than usual.
"Ooh, they're coming for you, Alex," said Emily.
"They're gonna have to train harder than that if they want to beat me." said Alex, proudly
"That's the spirit."
"Amazons!" Leah called out, getting everyone's attention. "We are moving the tribe to the elf village to better serve our king!"
Most of the amazons were okay with moving. Some of the amazons voiced some discontent, but again, they would have to defeat Alex in order to put a stop to something like that. Some were actually interested in or excited about living beside the elves.
After seeing that the plan to move the amazons would be fine, Emily, Enna, Sera, and her guards departed for the elf village.
Now that we're finished bathing, I have to figure out how I'm going to eat. As I suspected, the fairies don't have anything but fruit, and they usually only collect fruit when they want it.
So, I will have to go get some real food from the amazons or the elves sooner or later. The question is do I want meat and dairy, so to speak, or carbs and fish. I'm leaning toward carbs and fish, and I want to get clothes from the elves, too.
"I want to go to the elf village today." I said. "You can all come with me if you want."
"Okay." said Rose. "Let's all go."
The fairies were all beaming at me.
With that, I booked a one way trip to the elf village on fairy airlines. This time, four fairies were carrying me. Two by my wrists, and two by my ankles. We were going faster since they could share the burden of carrying me.
The only problem is that my junk was awkwardly dangling in that position. I can't wait to get some clothes.
After a while, the elf village came into view and we landed in front of the gate. Once again, the guards on top of the gate were gawking at me, clearly very uncertain. This time, I arrived wearing the elf king's crown.
I can understand their problem, Sera presumably told some people she would crown me the king of the elves, but these guards may not have been informed. And even if they were informed, they may not know how to react without Sera's guidance.
"Ahem!" exclaimed Rose after a few moments. "Is this how you welcome your king?"
That snapped the guards out of their stupor, and they rushed to a decision.
"Welcome, your majesty." said the guard, while signaling for the gate to be opened. "All hail the king!"
I walked into the village with the fairies and the guards lined up along the path and knelt, bowing their heads. This time, the other elves have not been averting their eyes, but they still have some complicated expressions.
