Snow couldn't stand letting her master fall into danger. She knew she had to find a way to save him, at the very least, desiring to let her master be aware her presence mattered as she could be of any use. That was what Snow wanted all along, not to be only recognized as the pet but someone who could fight alongside her master.
Although, she was surprised she discerned the sudden burst of power radiated by her master, the latter's opponent was no doubt still stronger by leaps and bounds than him. Snow was worried as a result, getting anxious by each second the battle proceeded.
Now, she could not stand it. She could sense her master falling into extreme danger, sensing her kin through special ways that even her master did not possess. Her body trembled, and her body suddenly jolted forward without her thinking.
When she finally realized, she hissed – louder than before, coming deep from within her heart. It was like those singers who forgot where they were, who they were, as they only thought of singing the song they wanted to. Snow experienced such a strange feeling, causing her hiss to be different than before.
She saw it. She heard it. Her master mentioned her name as she hissed, while the serpent seemed to have been stunned as it froze in mid-air. Her master was sensible, and to cool down her anxiety, her master successfully cut a severe wound on the serpent's snake.

Even if Kaiju's blade sharpened, and with the buff of Ring of Venomous Resilience, the serpent's face was still so sturdy that he could only cut it. Nevertheless, the blade sharpened even more, causing him to attack and successfully landed a deeper cut on the other side of the serpent's face.
When the serpent landed on the ground, Kaiju took a quick scrutiny on its condition. Heaving a sigh of relief, he turned towards Snow, staring at him in deep concern. She was surrounded by feral and savage snakes, still appearing wary and only encircled her, waiting for their master's command.
Snow then stared at the serpent and saw it was twitching, attempting to move, while staring at her master with deep hatred. She could understand what it was feeling – loathed the fact that it was defeated by a human clearly weaker than him. Snow felt a sense of pride, not even feeling shameful she aided her master to win the duel.
As long as her master won, nothing mattered.
Snow hissed excitedly and slithered forward to her master. However, Kaiju was still wary of the Overlord beast. Hence, he ordered Snow to halt. In his mind, he wanted to shout, but with his Emotionless skill, his cold voice caused Snow to be shaken.
However, Snow understood her master's worries, so she obeyed and halted. She waited, her master waited, until the latter heaved a sigh of relief.
"Brat, you're so lucky."
Kaiju had a slight idea what the Overlord beast was trying to convey.
"To be acknowledged by my kin is one thing, to be a pet is another, but even more so when it's a snake with an Ancient bloodline. You're so lucky. Even I would bow down to them."
Kaiju's heart raced. He did not expect Snow's background to be that amazing. Who would have thought she would possess a bloodline of an Ancient Rank Beast? That would mean her potential was almost equal to a High-Ranker.
He found it difficult to believe. It was entirely unexpected. Now, he stared at Snow, as though she was a priceless treasure.
'I mean, from the start, she always has been. She saved my life and willingly wanted to be my pet. I would be the first to die before her.'
Kaiju thought to himself.
"Forget about it. Since divine luck is favoring you. I can't do anything about it," said the Overlord beast.
Kaiju heaved a sigh of relief.
{Congratulations! You have been rewarded with 10 Luck Points due to the fortuitous encounter!
10 Luck Points are being multiplied 10x…
Congratulations, you have been rewarded with 100 Luck Points! It has been credited to your status. Please see it!}
Kaiju was rejoicing inside his mind, but the Gacha System was not finished yet.
{The Gacha System did not announce to the host due to the perilous circumstances. The second reward for the draw earlier was an additional 2 durability points – common draw!}
Kaiju was not surprised. Based on the probability of the draw, since he performed two Rare draws, he would be getting one Rare reward and the other was Common. He was already thankful for the Rare reward as it was immensely helpful.
Although Kaiju could not assess or even recall the change of the durability on his body, even with the duel earlier, he could still perceive his body was sturdier than before.
'I might just be overthinking it.'
"Brat, she is finally here. I've already thought about it long enough. I'll be giving her a gift, not for you. Don't forget. NOT. FOR. YOU."
Kaiju nodded his head hurriedly, still keeping his impassive face. He stared at Snow and beamed a smile. He was glad the Overlord beast decided to give Snow. From a beast of his rank, it should be a massive aid for Snow.
"I'll be ordering a snake to deliver a fruit later. Now, leave here. You won't be getting any of my fruit."
Kaiju nodded, stared back at the tree, and didn't feel a slightest dismay at all. As long as he gained something that provided an enormous help to Snow, he was already satisfied.
Kaiju sauntered towards Snow, let her rub her head on his fingertips as it coiled around his wrist, and settled on it for her comfort.
As Kaiju was walking out of the Overlord beast domain, he halted his tracks.
"I forgot to ask what kind of Ancient Beast bloodline Snow possessed."
Kaiju glanced at Snow, communicated with her about it, and was a bit disappointed to receive a shaking of her head. Snow was a bit depressed she could not provide an answer to her master, but Kaiju sensed it, petting her head to comfort her.
They slowly walked out of the Overlord beast domain and waited for the gift the Overlord beast was talking about.
Along the way, Kaiju suddenly recalled the woman the Overlord beast was talking about.
He couldn't help but wonder who it was…
