It was getting worse and Doric and Skia were not sure what to do. He wanted to pull out the spike but worried that it could cause her to bleed out if done. But not pulling it out would cause more of the poison to seep into her. She began to hyperventilate and reach for her bag.
Doric knew she had many potions in there and wondered if there was one she could use to stop this. "Which one." He asked using his powers to move the bag closer to her and open it. She struggled to reach into the bag weakly and started mouthing something he could not hear.
"Come on Nyssa, I need you to speak to me, which one do you need!" He began to panic a bit as he looked in the bag pulling out them multiple at a time. Showing them to her. She would weakly shake her head at each group. Slowly going in and out of consciousness.
Eventually, she passed out completely leaving only 2 vials she had not looked at yet. "Skia, I don't know which one she needs of these two. Do you have any idea?" he asked desperately as he looked at them both. They both were green but one was darker and the other was lighter.
He saw what the wrong potion could do if used on someone. He needed to be sure. Skia looked nervous and kept looking at both the vials and back at Nyssa who was beginning to sweat. "Uhhh, I don't know, I'm sorry!" She cried out as tears began to weld up in her eyes.
She was so terrified for her friend and she felt so useless in the situation. Doric looked at both of the vials and took a deep breath in. he tried to steady himself as his eyes darted from one to the other. "Which one is it!" He yelled as his mind began to race.
He felt lightheaded as if he was about to pass out himself when he hit the floor. He was having a panic attack and he could not stop racing in his head the thought of accidentally giving her acidic or poisonous vials.
It was not until he was about to pass out that he realized something. Taking a moment he breathed in deep and exhaled before casting his monocle spell. He quickly looked at the first vial.

"That's it!" he cried out he quickly uncorked the vial and moved it to Nyssa's mouth. Pouring it in and waiting for her to gulp it down. After a moment she began to breathe a little easier. But they still had the spike itself to worry about. It was barbed and they did not want to pull it out in case it damaged her further.
Looking at the spike it looked like a barbed seed. They heard the fighting dying down and looked outside the window. The Dwarves had won the fight and were beginning to pile the mushroom bodies ontop of each other and lighting them on fire. The leader of the group looked up towards the window they were in and looked shocked to see a floating skull looking back at them.
He looked back at his men and continued commanding them to burn the bodies and look for survivors. He then began walking to the building the trio were in. When he got to the stairs he called out. "Are you of hostile intent?"
Doric moved to the top of the staircase looking down at the Dwarven leader. A crossbow was in his hand pointed directly at Doric. Shaking his head Doric tried to remain calm. "No, we were sent to help you guys. My friend is really hurt is there anything you can do for her?"
The dwarven leader had a look of curiosity to him. "Who sent you?" he raised his crossbow and prepared it. Ready to launch a deadly bolt at the skull should it lie to him.
"We were sent by Welsher. He said you called for aid a few days ago and he was preparing us to go here to help." Doric said without hesitation. "Please my friend she was hit with one of the spikes those mushroom things had and she is really wounded."
"Very well, damn, took you guys long enough to get here. Let me see your friend and I will do what I can for her." He responded lowering his crossbow and walking up the stairs. He saw Nyssa lying on the ground in a small pool of blood and sweat and saw the spike in her leg. He noticed the empty vial next to her and nodded.
"You did good to stop the poison but if we don't get that spike out of her it will continue to affect her. Let's get her to the base and see if Quina can help her. My name is Prince Felchio and I am the leader of these people." he stated as he began lifting up Nyssa carefully.
"It's not often that we get dark elves in this area. Judging by your friend over there I would guess she is shadow touched. You would be a Wisp and a sentient one at that. Very interesting group Welsher sent to me." he began heading down the stairs and out the door.
They followed as Nyssa groaned in pain with each step that Felchio took. He tried to be gentle with her but he was half her size. She was not heavy to him by any means but she was awkward to hold.
They made their way down an alley and through what looked like the market district before ending at a trap door. Felchio knocked in a pattern on the door and it opened. Revealing two dwarves with crossbows loaded. They saw Felchio and lowered their weapons.
"What's the darkelf doing here?" The first one looked curious.. "You think the darkelves are the ones causing this problem?" the other questioned with a sour look on his face.
"This dark elf and her friends are the ones who saved us from being taken out. Show them some respect." Felchio stated as he began walking down the staircase. The other two followed and they made their way into a large and elaborate underground sanctuary just as beautiful as the city above them.
