Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: How dare you

"Not that bad, it's better they continue fighting themselves because of a cold man," Alexander said, relaxing his back on the wall. "Who they're fighting for is a cold demon. He didn't even want to notice them."

"Haha, Chris joked, "I think Priscilla's got a death wish or something."

The group chuckled, and Romeo shook his head, a small smile playing on his lips. "You guys are ridiculous."

As they laughed and joked, I couldn't help but notice them and look back, Romeo's gaze drifting towards me, a hint of curiosity in his eyes. I felt a flutter in my chest, and quickly looked away, trying to brush off the feeling.

Romeo licked his beautiful pink lips, staring at Selina and her friends' figures disappearing from their view. His eyes seemed to be fixed on Selina, a thoughtful expression on his face.

Mike, who was standing next to him, raised an eyebrow. "Romeo, you're staring at her again," he said, a hint of amusement in his voice.

Romeo's gaze didn't waver, his eyes still fixed on the spot where Selina had disappeared from view. "I'm just wondering what's so special about her," he said, his voice low and thoughtful.

Tom snorted. "You're just wondering? Romeo, you've been staring at her all day. You're starting to freak me out."

Romeo's gaze finally shifted, his eyes narrowing at Tom. "Shut up, Tom," he said, a hint of warning in his voice.

The group fell silent, sensing the tension in Romeo's voice.

Hello mum am home I said with a smile as I walk in to our house and keep my school bag. hmm the scent of delicious aroma feel my scenes. mum is cooking delicious food for me yeah I said running to the kitchen and giving her a kiss on the cheek

"Hello, sweetie!" my mom replied, smiling warmly as she stirred the pot on the stove. "How was your day?"

I took a deep breath, savoring the delicious aroma of the food she was cooking. "It was good, Mum," I said, trying to sound casual despite the drama that had unfolded at school.

My mom looked at me with a discerning eye, but she didn't press the issue. Instead, she asked, "Would you like to help me set the table?"

I nodded, happy to oblige. As we worked together in the kitchen, I couldn't help but feel grateful for my mom's warm and loving presence. She always knew how to make me feel better, no matter what was going on in my life.

As we sat down to eat, my mom asked me again about my day. This time, I hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But as I looked into her kind and caring eyes, I knew that I could trust her with anything.

"Mum, something did happen today," I said, taking a deep breath. "There was a fight between Priscilla and Emilia..."

My mom's expression turned concerned. "What happened? Are you okay?"

I nodded, taking another deep breath. "I'm fine, Mum. But it was pretty intense. Priscilla was being really mean to me, and Emilia stood up for me."

My mom's eyes widened in surprise. "Priscilla? Isn't she the queen bee of the school?"

I nodded, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Yeah, that's her. And she's been really mean to me lately."

My mom's expression turned stern. "Well, you don't have to worry about her anymore. You're safe now, and Emilia seems like a good friend to have."

I smiled, feeling grateful for my mom's support. "Yeah, Emilia's amazing. And I'm really lucky to have her as a friend."

My mom smiled back, putting a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "You deserve good friends like Emilia and sofia, sweetie. And don't worry about Priscilla. She's just jealous of your kindness and beauty."

I blushed, feeling happy and relieved. Maybe things were going to be okay after all.

in the Smith mansion.

As Liam walked into the grand foyer of the Smit residence, the security guards and butlers greeted him with a nod and a smile. "Welcome home, Young Master ," one of the butlers said, taking Liam's backpack.

Liam's expression remained calm and serene, his piercing blue eyes seeming to bore into the soul of anyone who dared to meet his gaze. His chiseled features and razor-sharp jawline made him look like a god among mortals, and his raven-black hair only added to his allure.

"Mother," he said, his deep voice low and smooth, as he walked over to give his mom a perfunctory kiss on the cheek.

His mom smiled, her eyes shining with warmth and affection. "Hello, darling. How was your day?"

Liam shrugged, his expression unchanging. "It was fine."

Romeo's eyes widened as he watched his father, Mr. Smit, storm into the foyer, his cane hitting the ground with a loud thud. The sound echoed through the hallway, making everyone turn to see what was happening.

Romeo's heart sank as he saw the anger etched on his father's face. "Come here, you stubborn boy!" Mr. Smit bellowed, his voice making Romeo's heart tremble.

Romeo hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do. But then, he took a deep breath and walked slowly towards his father, his eyes fixed on the ground. He could feel his father's anger radiating towards him, and he knew he was in for a lecture.

"What is going on between you and Stone's daughter?" Mr. Smith asked, his voice low and menacing.

Romeo shrugged, his eyes flashing with defiance. "Nothing is going on between us," he said, his voice firm and resolute.

Mr. Smith's face turned black with anger, his eyes bulging with rage. "What do you mean, son?" he thundered. "You're supposed to be close with her, because you're going to marry her when you fully become a man."

Romeo's eyes narrowed. " not marrying her..

Mr. Smith's face turned beet red with rage as he slammed his cane on the ground again. "What do you mean, son?!" he thundered. "You're supposed to be courting her, not ignoring her! The Stones and the Smits have been allies for generations, and our families have agreed that you two will marry and solidify our bond."

I don't need any help to secure my family's future, I will do it myself soon," Romeo said, his voice firm and determined.

Mr. Smith's face turned blue with rage, his eyes bulging out of their sockets. "How dare you!" he thundered, his voice echoing off the walls.

Romeo's eyes remained cold and unyielding, his expression a mask of indifference. He knew that his father was furious, but he refused to back down. He had never wanted to marry Priscilla Stone, and he certainly didn't want to be forced into it.

"I don't see why I have to marry her, Father," Romeo said, his voice low and even. "I don't even like her."
