"What's wrong, Selena?" he growled, his voice low and menacing. "You can't even look at me now?"
Romeo's face was inches from mine, his sapphire blue eyes blazing with intensity. His chiseled features were even more pronounced in the dimly lit hallway, his sharp jawline and high cheekbones making him look like a sculpture come to life. His dark hair was messy and tousled, framing his face perfectly. His full lips were pressed together in a thin line, giving him a brooding, intense look.
As he gazed at me, his eyes seemed to bore into my soul, making my heart beat wildly in my chest. I felt like I was drowning in their depths, unable to look away. Romeo's presence was overwhelming, his masculinity and charisma radiating from him like a palpable force.
As I gazed up at Romeo, I felt like I was trapped in a spell. His eyes seemed to be holding me captive, refusing to let me look away. I tried to speak, but my voice caught in my throat. All I could do was stare up at him, my heart pounding in my chest.
Romeo's grip on my wrist tightened, his fingers digging into my skin. I felt a jolt of pain, but it was quickly overridden by a wave of desire. I couldn't believe how much I still wanted him, despite everything that had happened between us.
"Why are you avoiding me, Selena?" Romeo growled, his voice low and husky. "What's going on?" why do you feel unhappy?" your eyes are so red."
I shook my head, trying to clear my thoughts. But Romeo's eyes seemed to be hypnotizing me, drawing me in with their intensity. I felt like I was drowning in their depths, unable to escape.
"I don't know what you're talking about," I replied, trying to sound nonchalant despite the butterflies in my stomach.
Romeo's smile was cold and mirthless. "Have you forgotten?" he asked, his voice low and serious. "I saved you from those bad guys the other day. Didn't I deserve a greeting as your savior?"
I felt a flush rise to my cheeks as I remembered the incident. I had been trying to put it out of my mind, but Romeo's words brought it all flooding back. I looked away, trying to avoid his piercing gaze.
"I want to show my gratitude," I said, holding back my jealousy. "But you were busy with your lover, Priscilla."
Romeo's face changed, his expression darkening. "She is not my lover," he said, his brow furrowed in annoyance.
I smiled bitterly in my heart. Men, they're really ruthless and always lying. I thought about the guy I caught in the morning making out in the toilet with his lover, Priscilla. And here he was, denying that there was anything going on between them.
"You expect me to believe that?" I asked, my voice laced with sarcasm. "I'm not blind, Romeo. I saw you with my own eyes."
Romeo's eyes flashed with anger, but he kept his voice calm. "There's nothing going on between us, Selena. I swear."
I smiled murkily, feeling a pang of sadness. "No, I'm blind," I said, my voice dripping with sarcasm. "I didn't know what I saw. Please, Mr. Smith, Romeo, go to your lover before she thinks that there's something going on between us as we stand here."
I broke free from his grasp and ran away, tears falling from my eyes. I could feel Romeo's eyes on me, but I didn't dare look back.
Romeo watched me run away, hurt and anger etched on his face. His fists were clenched at his sides, his eyes blazing with a fierce intensity.
Romeo's eyes followed me as I disappeared around the corner, his chest heaving with emotion. He felt a pang of frustration and hurt, unsure of why I was reacting this way.
He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. He knew he had to go after me, to explain things and clear up the misunderstanding.
"Romeo, what's going on?" Priscilla asked, her voice husky and concerned.
But Romeo ignored her, turning to walk away. Priscilla's face twisted in frustration, and she stamped her foot hard on the ground.
"Romeo!" she called out, but he didn't look back. He kept walking, his eyes fixed on the direction I had gone.
"you must be mine, Romeo'," Priscilla gritted her teeth, her eyes blazing with anger and possessiveness. She watched Romeo's retreating back, her mind seething with resentment. How dare he ignore her like that? How dare he chase after that insignificant Selena?

"Let's hang out," he said calmly to the other person on the other side of the phone. As he walked out of the school gate with his friends Mike, Tom, Alexander, and Chris, he listened to Natasha's response, a small smile playing on his lips.
His friends glanced at him, familiar with the name Natasha, and exchanged knowing looks. They had met Natasha before, and they knew she was someone Romeo had been spending time with lately.

As I walked into the cafeteria, I spotted my friends Emily, and Sofia already seated at our usual table. I made my way over to them, dropping my bag onto the floor as I sat down.
We spent the next hour chatting and laughing, munching on sandwiches, chips, and cookies. It was a much-needed break after the drama with Romeo earlier.
As we finished up our snacks, Emily glanced at her watch. "we should probably get going," she said. "I have a ton of homework to do tonight."
We others nodded in agreement, and we all stood up to leave. We said our goodbyes and headed out of the cafeteria, going our way as we walked home.
"Are you okay now?" Sofia asked, concern etched on her face.
I didn't want to say what had happened between me and Romeo in the hallway. I smiled weakly. "I'm okay, sorry for earlier."
Emilia stared at me, her eyes searching. "Are you sure you're okay?" she asked, her voice soft with concern.
I nodded, trying to reassure her. "Yes, I'm fine."
Sofia joked, trying to lighten the mood. "It's like I'll ban Romeo Smith from entering this school gate so my friend will stop crushing on him and forget about him forever."
We burst out laughing, the tension and worry of the past hour melting away. Emilia giggled, her eyes shining with mirth. "You're ridiculous, Sofia," she said, wiping tears from her eyes.
I grinned, feeling a weight lift off my shoulders. "Thanks, Sofia. I needed that."
"I wish that would happen," I said, chuckling. "No more Romeo drama."
Sofia nodded vigorously. "Exactly! No more broken hearts, no more tears."
Emilia giggled. "No more Romeo Smith strutting around school like he owns the place."
We all burst out laughing again, enjoying the lighthearted moment.
