Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Fight

He stared as Selina and her friends stood up from their table, waving goodbye to Lucas and leaving the cafeteria.

Romeo watched the girls exit, his expression unchanging.

His gaze lingered on Selina's retreating figure.

Chris approached, breaking the silence.

"Romeo, what's up?" Chris asked.

Romeo's response was curt.

"Nothing."

Chris raised an eyebrow but dropped the subject.

Romeo's thoughts remained on Selina.

Her laughter, her smile...

Intriguing.

Priscilla's face turned black as a charcoal pot as she gazed at Romeo from a particular table, her eyes fixed intently on him staring at Selina.

Her face twisted with envy and jealousy.

"What do you want from her?" Priscilla thought to herself, gritting her teeth. "What does she have that I don't have, Romeo Smit?"

She stood up abruptly, her friends following suit. Their faces mirrored her anger and jealousy.

Storming out of the cafeteria, Priscilla's dramatic exit left everyone stunned.

Whispers echoed through the room.

"What's wrong with the queen bee?"

"Did Romeo dump her?"

The students' confused expressions reflected their bewilderment.

Romeo and his friends remained indifferent, eating their meals calmly.

Chris sipped his juice, unfazed.

Tom continued eating.

Romeo's gaze never wavered, focused on his meal.

Their nonchalance fueled the rumors.

Meanwhile, Priscilla seethed outside.

"No one takes Romeo from me," she muttered.

Rumors spread like wildfire through the school.

"Priscilla and Romeo are breaking up!"

"Romeo's got a new crush - Natasha!" Natasha is the girl they so Liam with yesterday.

"Queen Bee's lost her sting!"

The cafeteria buzzed with excitement.

my friends whispered, eyes sparkling.

"Is it true? Romeo's interested in Natasha knight?"

I frouwnd feeling pain in my heart. "I don't know... maybe?"

Emilia grinned.

"You're not jealous are you!" Emilia chuckled.

No,"Romeo don't have a thing for me." I replied calmly.

Meanwhile, Priscilla fumed in the hallway.

"How dare she!" she muttered.

Her friends tried to calm her. "Pris, let's talk to Romeo."

"No!" Priscilla snapped. "I'll handle this myself."

Priscilla's eyes narrowed. "Selina thinks she's special?"

A sly smile spread across her face. "We'll see about that."

Priscilla stormed into the school's courtyard, her eyes scanning the area for any sign of Selina. She spotted her standing by the fountain, laughing with her friends.

Priscilla's smile grew wider as she approached Selina. "Well, well, well. Look what we have here," Priscilla said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Selina turned to face Priscilla, a hint of confusion on her face. "Hey, Priscilla. What's up?"

Priscilla's eyes narrowed. "You think you're so special, don't you? With your perfect smile and your perfect laugh. You think you can just waltz in here and steal Romeo's attention?"

Selina's expression changed from confusion to surprise. "I don't know what you're talking about, Priscilla."

Priscilla took a step closer to Selina. "Don't play dumb with me. I know all about your little crush on Romeo. And I'm here to tell you that it's not going to happen."

Selina's eyes flashed with anger. "I don't have a crush on Romeo. And even if I did, it's none of your business."

Priscilla's smile grew wider. "Oh, it's my business all right. Romeo is mine, and I'll do whatever it takes to keep him."

Selina shook her head. "You're pathetic, Priscilla. You're so desperate to hold onto Romeo that you're willing to bully and intimidate anyone who gets in your way."

Priscilla's face turned red with rage. "How dare you!" she spat. "You're just a nobody, a little wannabe who thinks she can take my place."

Selina stood her ground, her eyes flashing with defiance. "I'm not afraid of you, Priscilla. And I'm not going to back down."

The two girls stood facing each other, their eyes locked in a fierce stare. The air was electric with tension as the two girls clashed in a battle of wills.

Priscilla raised her hand to slap my face, and I closed my eyes, bracing myself for the impact and pain to come. But it never came.

Instead, I heard a firm voice and a scuffling sound. I opened my eyes to see Emilia's eyes blazing with fury as she caught Priscilla's hand in mid-air.

Emilia's grip on Priscilla's wrist was like a vice, her eyes locked on Priscilla's. "You're not going to hurt her," Emilia growled, her voice low and menacing.

Priscilla's face twisted with rage as she tried to shake off Emilia's grip. "Let me go!" she spat.

But Emilia held firm, her eyes locked on Priscilla's. "You're not going to bully my Sofia," Emilia said, her voice firm and resolute. "Not while I'm around."

The courtyard fell silent, with all eyes on the confrontation between Emilia and Priscilla. I stood frozen, my eyes wide with shock and gratitude.

Priscilla's face turned red with rage as she realized she was outmatched. With a snarl, she jerked her hand free from Emilia's grip.

The courtyard erupted into a buzz of conversation and speculation. Emilia turned to me, a concerned expression on her face. "Are you okay?" she asked.

I nodded, still looking Priscilla. "Y-yes, thanks to you," I stuttered.

Emilia smiled and put a reassuring arm around my shoulders. "Anytime," she said. "We're friends, and that's what friends do."

She glared at me and, with her friends, walked away. She looked at Emilia and sneered, "I'll deal with you. Do you know who I am? Do you think we're in the same class, you poor, smelly thing?"

She backed away, her eyes still fixed on Emilia with a venomous glare. "You just wait and see," she spat. "I'll show you what it means to mess with Priscilla."

With that, she turned and stormed off, her friends scurrying after her.

Emilia watched them, her face turning black with anger. She rushed after them, intent on teaching them a lesson. But I caught her arm, holding her back.

"Emilia, calm down," I said. "They're just a bag of trouble. Let's not give them the satisfaction."

Emilia's anger slowly dissipated, replaced by a determined look. "You're right," she said. "I won't let them get to me."

I smiled, relieved that Emilia had calmed down. "That's the spirit," I said. "Let's just ignore them and move on."

Emilia nodded, and we walked away from the courtyard, leaving Priscilla and her friends Trouble and argument behind.

"let's find sofia where did she run off too? I asked as we walk away.

But as we walked, I couldn't shake off the feeling that Priscilla was far from done. She had a reputation for being ruthless, and I had a feeling that she would stop at nothing to get what she wanted.

Not very far away, a group of boys stood staring at everything that was going on and the retreating figure of Priscilla. "Romeo, that was a cool fight just now because of you," Mike joked.

Romeo gave him a glare. Tom smiled murkily, "Who asked you to be so beautiful?" The group burst out laughing.
