"That's a good idea, but I've got somewhere to be first," Lionel said.
Adrian walked off to get ready and returned a few minutes later, dressed in a royal blue robe with ash embroidery forming intricate designs along the cuffs and upper chest.
During that time, Lionel had taken his bath and put on the robe provided by the house. It was similar to Adrian's, except it was black with ash embroidery.
"We're all set!" Adrian said, standing beside Lionel.
Lionel glanced at him and smiled faintly. "You know, I suddenly feel bad for sneaking you out. I'd be doing my lady wrong."
"My lady? Who's your lady?" Adrian asked, frowning in confusion. "And why would you be doing her wrong?"
"It's your mother. She let me stay in her house, and here I am sneaking her son out. Definitely not the best way to repay her kindness," Lionel replied.
