'Ermmm…this is hard. I'm pretty sure this man knows I'm talking about myself and probably lying. How he knows, though, is the question. Maybe he's achieved a high refinement base or has some artifact that aids him,' Lionel brooded as he studied the man.
He eventually responded to the man's earlier question while considering the various types of artifacts the man had mentioned.
"I need something that's primarily combat-oriented, with some utility on the side," Lionel said. The man nodded but paused when Lionel added, "I'll need to gather some money first and come back to get the artifacts."
"There's no problem with that," the man replied. "Before you go, I'll recommend a couple for you."
Turning from where he stood, he walked back to the counter. A hidden door creaked open behind him, and he stepped inside.
