Saturday afternoon, and Jay was nervously waiting outside Erin's house. He had never felt this way about anyone before. He was excited, nervous, and a little scared all at the same time. He had no idea what to expect, but he knew he wanted to spend time with Erin, to get to know him better.
When Erin finally came out, Jay was struck by how beautiful he looked. He was wearing a simple t-shirt and jeans, but he looked like a model in Jay's eyes. Erin's smile was shy, but it lit up his face and made Jay's heart skip a beat.
"Hey," Erin said, his voice soft and gentle.
"Hey," Jay replied, trying to sound cool and collected, but his voice came out a little shaky.
"Ready to go?" Erin asked.
"Yeah, let's go," Jay said, feeling a surge of excitement.
They drove to the local park, where they spent the afternoon walking, talking, and laughing. They talked about everything and nothing, sharing their hopes, dreams, and fears. Jay felt like he could talk to Erin about anything, and he felt like Erin understood him in a way that no one else ever had.
As the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the park, Jay felt a pang of sadness. He didn't want the day to end. He wanted to spend more time with Erin, to get closer to him, to learn everything about him.

Erin's eyes widened in surprise. He looked down at his feet, a blush creeping up his neck. "I... I don't know," he stammered.
"It's okay if you don't want to," Jay said, feeling a wave of disappointment wash over him. "But I really want to talk to you again."
Erin looked up at Jay, his blue eyes filled with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension. "Okay," he said softly. "Here's my number."
Jay's heart leaped with joy. He quickly scribbled down Erin's number on a piece of paper, his hand trembling slightly. "Thanks, Erin. I'll call you soon."

Jay: Thanks, Erin. I'll call you soon.
