Chapter 8

PAGE 1

Setting: Outside of Site 7 in the parking lot.

Male Voice: "ENOUGH!"

Everyone looks to the entrance door of Site 7.

Wendy: "Is that…"

Blue hair girl: "Here he comes, about to ruin the fun."

Forte stands at the entrance in the large doorway. He does not look pleased.

Forte: "What the heck is going on here? I go take a quick nap after a sip of warm milk and I wake up to all of this! This is worse than the joyride incident! Are you all still this irresponsible?"

Close up on Spikey hair guy, whose face pretty much says "oops. My bad."

Forte (off screen): "Terry! Why am I seeing burn marks on our guests, huh? For what reason would you use your powers against newcomers? This is not a training exercise!"

Terry (Spikey hair): "Uh…Sorry sir. I got a lil carried away."

Forte: "A little?"

Perspective shift to Wendy and the blue hair girl, who's still holding her weapon at Wendy's neck.

Forte: "Jasmine! What do you plan to do with our newcomer? This is a new low for your usual intimidation introduction, dontcha think?"

Jasmine (blue hair girl): "Who, me? I was just gonna plunge an ice pick through her pretty little skull, then disappear and let the evidence melt away."

Forte: "Crude as usual, I see. Get over here!"

Jasmine: "Ugh. Fine!"

Without warning, Jasmine bursts into water flying in all directions behind Wendy.

Jasmine: "We'll have more time to get to know each other later. Til then, be a good little girl and stay put for a while."

PAGE 2

Wendy looks down at her feet.

Wendy: Hm?!

Wendy's feet are frozen to the ground.

Wendy: "Huh?!" When did she…?

Perspective shift to Elliot and the guy wearing shades.

Forte: "Charles!"

Chase: "I go by Chase."

Forte: "WHATEVER! You burned part of this big parking lot! It isn't free to fix, ya know!"

Chase: "Sorry pops. The sun's extra bright today. Won't happen again."

Forte turns back to where Terry is.

Forte: "And you, Iris!"

Forte looks clueless and lost. He scratches his head.

Forte: "Where is Iris?"

Male voice: "Over here."

PAGE 3

Forte still stands at the doorway entrance. Next to him is an Old man dressed in a white robe with gold around the edges of his clothing. He has a golden staff in his hand and a tall white and golden hat. Next to this man is a pouting Iris.

Old Man: "She teleported from the scene until I brought her back to take responsibility."

Forte: "Oh. Didn't see you there, your holiness."

Old Man: "Is there something you'd like to say, Iris?"

Iris: "Sorry. I just wanted to join the guys in some fun."

Forte: "Everyone, at attention!"

Iris: "Me too?"

Old man: "Yes. Join them. Taking responsibility with others is the first step to growth."

Wendy walks over in her socks. She looks pissed.

Elliot: "Wendy, what happened to your shoes?"

Wendy: "I don't wanna talk about it."

With everyone in attention, Forte angrily points a finger.

Forte: "Is this the example you want to set? You owe these two an apology!"

Terry: "My bad. I'm sorry."

Jasmine turns to Wendy.

Jasmine: "Yeah, me too. Sorry you're such a dud."

Wendy glares into Jasmine's eyes.

Wendy: I hate her.

Chase bows his head at Wendy.

Chase: "Sorry Miss. You were never in any real danger. Promise."

Elliot: What about me!?

Iris: "What am I sorry for, again? I broke up a fight and was the only one to introduce myse-"

Old man: "Iris!"

Iris bows to Elliot and Wendy.

Iris: "Gomennasai!"

PAGE 4

Forte slaps his hands together with a smile on his face.

Forte: "Great. Now let's move past all of this and get situated for the next training sessions. We're working to get you all released on official missions again, without being secretive about it."

Jasmine rolls her eyes.

Jasmine: "Oh good. All those baseball bats were starting to get expensive, I assume."

Old man: "Iris, it's time to get back to your personal training."

Iris: "Is Omar gonna join us?"

Old Man: "No. You'll be in personal teachings with me this week. Now, come along."

Iris lowers her head in disappointment.

Iris: "Yes, father."

Elliot leans over with a hand over his mouth to cover a whisper near Terry's ear.

Elliot: "That old dude's her dad?"

Terry: "Nah. He's known as some holy father or somethin'. But he watches over Iris and trains her personally."

Elliot: "Hm. Sounds creepy."

Jasmine turns her head slightly to address Wendy behind her.

Jasmine: "He's kind of a prick, if you ask me."

Wendy: Why is she talking to me? "And you're not?"

Jasmine gives Wendy a cynical smile.

Jasmine: "Heh. We're gonna have tons of fun."

Elliot speaks out to the old man.

Elliot: "Hey, why doesn't everybody just train together?"

Old man: "This girl has a higher calling. She has no time to play and waste time with the rest of you."

PAGE 5

Elliot: "What do you mean 'waste time?'"

Jasmine: "Told ya he's a prick."

Old man: "I've said enough to you. Iris, time to go. You've been around this kind long enough."

Elliot: "Not as long as those saggy cheeks!"

Terry: "Pfft!" *Nearly chokes*

Old man: "Excuse me?"

Elliot: "Talkin' down to us when yo saggy cheeks longer than the last song they play in church!"

Terry: "NOOOO!!!!! Hahahaha!"

Jasmine raises an eyebrow.

Jasmine: "Heh. Cute."

The old man crosses his arms.

Old man: "Such insolence!"

Elliot: "YUP! Those saggy cheeks are FULL of insulin."

Wendy steps up, pulling Elliot towards her.

Wendy: "Ooookay. That's enough. I have a feeling you don't know who he is."

PAGE 6

Elliot: "Huh? I don't care who he is. Talkin' like he's better than other people!"

Wendy: "He's one of the world leaders, Father Franciscus. He works to bring about peace to the world."

Franciscus: "Very lovely, young daughter. I am working hard to bring about togetherness between humans and you people."

Franciscus turns with Iris at his side.

Franciscus: "All is forgiven; it is what we are called to do, after all. Let's go, Iris."

Iris: "Yes, father."

Iris and Franciscus go inside.

Forte: *Sigh* "Oh boy. Well, now that that's over, let's head inside and discuss the coming changes in your missions and training."

Jasmine: "Eh, it's getting hot out here, anyway."

Jasmine heads inside, but turns around to look at Elliot, first.

Jasmine: "Thanks for the laugh. You're kinda cute. See ya around." *wink*

Elliot: Hot DANG I'm a chick magnet!

Wendy: *Jaw drop* I can't read her at ALL!

Terry: "Guess we won't be seeing Iris for a little while."

Elliot turns to Terry.

Elliot: "Oh yeah, I'm Elliot, by the way."

Terry: "El, that roast was HOT! You had me dyin'!"

Elliot: "Oh, hehehe. Kinda go off when I'm nervous or mad. Thanks, though."

Question marks appear above Wendy's head as she watches Elliot and Terry suddenly become friends.

Wendy: Didn't they just try to kill each other a moment ago?

Chase heads inside.

Chase: "It'll be less entertaining without the little sis for a while, but what can ya do."

Elliot: "Oh yeah, what's her deal? Iris, right? Why's she so special that she does personal training?"

Terry: "The squirt's a special case."

Wendy: "'Special?' How so?"

Chase: "Well, most of us are around the same rank: Lower C. Devlon and Jasmine are among the highest in ranks. They're pretty up there, tied somewhere in the higher C ranks."

PAGE 7

Shift to Iris's perspective. Close shot of Iris walking next to Francis, whose hand is on her shoulder. She's looking down and looks very sad with teary eyes.

Iris: "I just want to be with my friends."

Back to Elliot and the others' perspective.

Chase: "While Iris isn't officially ranked, she's completed simulations at the lower B rank."

Elliot: "WHAAAAT! You're telling me that kid is higher than you guys. Higher than bullet-dodging Devlon?! What is she, like ten?"

Terry: "Yeah."

Elliot: "What's with these OP ten year-olds? This ain't no comic!"

Chase: "Well, her rank is unofficial since she's too young to be an officer."

Wendy: "Calm down, Elliot. Let's head inside. I'm gonna go and wash off…everything about today." Need a few dozen chamomile pastries.

Everyone heads back inside the Site 7 building.

Elliot: Man. There's a group of unique irregulars here. And many more that are out in the world. Guess I gotta get a move on if I wanna catch up.

PAGE 8

Inside the building, Forte stands on the first floor where he first met Wendy and Elliot, in front of Elliot, Wendy, Jasmine, Chase, and Terry.

Forte: "Before I let you all go, we need to talk about a few things. But first, have we all patched things up with one another?"

Terry: "Yeah, it's all good now. Right, El?"

Elliot: "Yeah. Our issue was like, 5 minutes ago?" Get with the times, Fort!

Chase: (towards Wendy) "My deepest apologies if I've offended you in any way, ma'am."

Elliot: "Where's my apology!?" You almost melted my legs off!

Jasmine turns and smiles at Wendy.

Jasmine: "Let's start over. Hi! How are you today?"

Wendy: "I'm fine, thank you. And you?"

Jasmine: "I survived my last mission, so that's something. I'm alive, ya know?"

Wendy returns the smile with her eyes closed.

Wendy: "Hm. How unfortunate. Better luck next time."

The two young ladies continue to cheerfully smile at each other. A nerve bulges out of their heads. Electricity exits from both their faces and clashes in the middle of them.

Elliot nervously looks at the both of them, biting his nails.

Elliot: They should never be left alone in a room together.

Forte: "Wow! Already having a nice conversation. Good to know."

Elliot looks shocked by Forte's ignorance about Wendy and Jasmine's feelings towards one another.

Elliot: WHAT?!

Forte: " Now then, we'll wait on our other guy to return before our discussion."

Forte looks over to his left.

Forte: "Oh, speak of the devil."

Devlon walks over to the others. His right arm is hung on a slink. He looks uncomfortable and a little embarrassed.

Forte: "Glad to see you've recovered, Devlon! I know they work fast, but your recovery is amazing!"

Devlon: "Yeah. I don't really need the slink, but there's still a bit of soreness."

PAGE 9

Chase: "They got you in the good ol slink, huh? How long?"

Devlon: "Not that long. I can move my arm and all, just still sore. They used some device and closed the wound up pretty quick."

Jasmine: "Looks like Devie here lost his touch. Been out of the front lines so long they had to shoot the rust off em on his first day back, huh?"

Devlon: "Good to see you too, Jazz."

Forte: "Welp, since we're all here, let's begin."

Both Wendy and Elliot are startled as they stumble backwards, then quickly regaining their balance.

They both look down.

A circle forms below them as the floor they're standing on starts to sink in. Wendy and Elliot are astounded.

Chase leans over to Wendy and speaks toward her ear.

Chase: "Don't worry. We're just going to the ground floor. No more surprises, promise."

PAGE 10

They've reached the bottom floor. Forte walks in front of a large, bright monitor. The room looks like a laboratory with the monitor at its center.

Forte: "Welcome to the ground floor. This is where we get our updates, view training sessions, surveillance, and more."

An image pops up on the screen. It's a recording of Elliot's encounter with the military bot back in chapter one. The monitor displays Elliot on the ground with his hand out as he begs the bot for mercy.

Forte: "Like this event, for example. We are connected to the cameras in the bots' eyes and the surveillance cameras that they've connected to in the past, like those from Maple Mall."

The monitor now displays Elliot firing an energy blast through the bot's head and into the mall, which occurred in chapter 1.

Terry: "Daaaaang! That's his power?"

Chase: "Well well. Nice!"

Jasmine: "Explosions are so pretty."

Wendy glares over at Elliot.

Wendy: Yup. Definitely capable of being a powerhouse.

Devlon looks over at Elliot. He seems impressed.

Devlon: Guess he's got potential, after all.

Wendy's eyes turn to dots as she pouts at Elliot.

Wendy: But he's totally clumsy and childish.

Devlon crosses his arms and tilts his head back.

Devlon: But the fool has no control.

PAGE 11

Wendy closes her eyes and smiles, but also looks frustrated.

Wendy: His combat skills could use some work…along with his critical thinking. But…

Arms still crossed, Devlon looks down at the corner of his eyes in deep thought.

Devlon: And he needs to learn to not panic. Almost seems hopeless. But…

Wendy: If he could just learn to properly defend himself and use his noggin…

Devlon: If he could just learn to control his abilities and be quick on his feet…

Next panel is split in half between Wendy's and Devlon's perspective. They both light up as if they just had an amazing idea. A light bulb appears over their heads.

Wendy: !!!

Devlon: !!!

Wendy palms her forehead and closes her eyes.

Wendy: *SIGH* UUUGH! I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I need to be the one…

Devlon closes his eyes and smirks, slowly shaking his head.

Devlon: Heh. Whadoya know. I think if this is gonna work, I'll have to be the one…

PAGE 12

Full page panel! Both Wendy and Devlon look at Elliot.

Wendy and Devlon: To personally train this guy!

PAGE 13

Forte points out Wendy, Elliot, and Devlon.

Forte: "Devlon, Wendy, Elliot. Please step forth."

The three step forward near Forte.

Forte: "Everyone but Elliot and Wendy are aware; we've gone through secret Special Ops missions in the past, keeping people safe from behind the scenes. But as you know, that secret is getting more difficult to hold up. We've got that explosion at the mall some time ago, and some people have been disappearing lately. They're blaming it on irregulars, so fear is on the rise."

Forte rubs his chin.

Forte: "This experiment to work hand and hand with human cops would hopefully relieve some of that fear. Our distribution of military bots as a way to assist the humans was our first act of assistance."

Elliot rolls his eyes.

Elliot: Meh. They need work, if you ask me.

Forte: "Now, we have our first human visitor who's advanced in her field. Wendy, it's still pretty early in the game to ask you to join us, but consider this; we are a group of Irregulars working towards peace from the shadows. It would put to rest many misconceptions about Irregulars if humans began working with us."

Forte looks down and to the left.

Forte: "It would also help others see the difference between us and… the others."

PAGE 14

Wendy raises an eyebrow.

Wendy: "Others?"

Close up on Wendy with Jasmine smiling behind her. Wendy eyes Jasmine, making it obvious that she's uncomfortable.

Jasmine: "Ah, you didn't think that all of us irregulars were sunshine and gumdrops, did you? Like humans, there are some with good intentions, and some that are questionable."

Wendy: "You're questionable."

Forte: "Jasmine's right. We've encountered those that are not so peaceful. That is why today was supposed to be the day of Elliot's initial training. But before that, I need to know if you're willing to come on board with us."

Front view of Devlon, Elliot, and Wendy, but the focus is on Wendy. She's looking over at Elliot as she thinks. Elliot's side eyeing Wendy, wondering what her answer will be.

Wendy: Doesn't seem like I have much of a choice if I intend to train this dude. Plus he'll need time to pay me back for my car.

Wendy looks back at Forte.

Wendy: "Count me in. I still need alone time with that hot tub, anyway."

Off screen voice: "Really? Woohoo!!!"

Wendy looks over to her side.

Wendy: "Who said that?"

Iris stands in between Wendy and Elliot, looking up at Wendy with a smile.

Wendy: "Huh? Oh, hey. When did you get here?"

Iris: "Right before Mister Forte started talking. The father said it was okay."

Devlon: "That's Iris for ya. You'll get used to it."

PAGE 15

Forte: "I sent for her to be part of this discussion. Now, you three, how are you feeling? I know you had a long day already. Are you ready to get training started, or do you need the remaining day to rest?"

He looks excited and confident.

Elliot: "You kiddin' me? I'm good to go!"

Wendy shrugs her shoulders..

Wendy: "Fine. It'll make my night with a hot tub and wine that much more rewarding."

Iris looks up at Wendy with a complete bug-eyed expression.

Iris: "WINE?!" She's so hardcore!!!

Devlon smirks.

Devlon: "No worries here. I'm all good to go."

Forte: "Then it's settled. The three of you will be known as Unit 17! Let's head over to your first training session!"

PAGE 16

Scene change. Elliot, Devlon, and Wendy now stand in an all white tiled room. The room gives off the vibe that you'd find in a typical fighting game training room.

Wendy: "So, when's it supposed to start?"

Devlon: "Just give it a moment."

Elliot: "Last time I went into the simulation I was caught off guard. I'm ready this time."

Wendy turns her head toward Elliot with a skeptical glare.

Wendy: "Caught off guard, huh?"

Devlon: "Nothing to do with the S setting you had it on? No worries, we're set at D+ rank for balance since you're not experienced."

Elliot: "This'll be a breeze if that's the case."

Something catches Elliot's eye.

Elliot: "Hey, who's that?"

A military bot is seen ahead of them at a distance. The surrounding area has also changed. It's gotten darker. They're now in what looks like a dark alley, lit up by a single street light.

Wendy: "Is that a military bot?"

Devlon: "Looks like it."

Closer look at the military bot in the alley. A woman approaches the bot, but she can only be seen as a silhouette. Her hands are up to her face as if she's crying.

Elliot: "Looks like she needs help or something. Looks like the bot is handling it. Guess it's all under control?"

Devlon: "Can't be. Maybe there was a mistake with the ranking? D+ shouldn't be this easy."

Wendy: "So much for training."

The womanly silhouette pulls her hand away from her face, revealing long 3-foot claws. Exclamation marks are over the trio's heads.

PAGE 17

The womanly silhouette shoves her hand into the bot's chest.

She violently pulls out a robotic 'heart' as the bot falls to the ground.

Wendy: "What in the!"

Elliot: "That lady doesn't need any help from us!"

The woman turns her head toward the trio with glowing red eyes.

Wendy: "SHE'S LOOKING THIS WAY!"

Elliot: "NOPE!"

Devlon: "RUN!"

The lady runs towards the trio with her arms spread out, claws scraping against the buildings on each side of the alley. The trio immediately turn and frantically run away.

Shift to the perspective of everyone in the ground floor of Site 7. The large monitor now displays what's going on in the simulation. Chase folds his arms.

Chase: "Of course. Of all people, why'd you leave Jasmine in charge of choosing the training session's theme?"

Forte: "Point taken."

PAGE 18

Perspective shift: Back to the simulation. The trio sprints away from the lady with Wendy in the middle, Devlon on the left, and Elliot on the right.

The trio reaches the end of the alley way, but there's a baby crawling near the end of it. The baby is toward the right, closest to Elliot.

Baby: "Dada?"

Wendy: "THERE'S A BABY! EL, GET THE BABY!"

Elliot: "SCREW THAT BABY! HE BETTER KICK ROCKS!"

Devlon: "JUST GRAB HIM AS YOU RUN!"

Still running, Elliot kicks the baby like a football as they make their way out of the alley. The baby flies a few feet ahead.

The trio safely makes it out of the alley onto the sidewalk. Elliot turns around to face the woman coming at them.

Wendy's picks up the baby.

Wendy: "WERE YOU DROPPED?!"

Elliot: "I saved him, didn't I? I just gave 'em a little push."

Devlon: "You KICKED him!"

Elliot stretches both of his hands out towards the alleyway where the crazy lady is.

Elliot: "He'll be aiight. Devlon, I'm gonna see if I can blast her. Have my back in case it doesn't work!"

Devlon: "Kinda risky. You sure?"

Elliot: "Gotta learn somehow. Just be ready. She's getting closer!"

PAGE 19

The lady catches up to them. A closer look at the lady in the streetlights outshine her glowing eyes, making her look a little less intimidating.

Elliot: "Not so scary up close, huh?"

Close up on Elliot's face, now looking frustrated and nervous.

Elliot: It's not coming out! How do I control this ability?! "Um, a little help, D!"

The woman comes in on Elliot, preparing to slash him. She's too close for Elliot to dodge.

Devlon dashes in between Elliot and the lady, downslashing with a bright green blade as he passes them both. Both of the lady's arms come flying off. Exposed electrical wires and dark brown fluid fly in the air.

Elliot: "Woah!" She's a robot?!

SFX: POW!

The robotic woman falls back as a bullet pierces her forehead.

Elliot turns around to see Wendy aiming the gun at the lady in one hand, smoke rising from the barrel, while holding the baby in the other hand.

Wendy: "You'll end up like her next time I see you kick a baby."

PAGE 20

Blade in hand, Devlon turns around.

Devlon: "You okay?"

Elliot zips over to Devlon, eying Devlon's weapon with excitement.

Elliot: "Ayyyy! What's that? Where'd you get that blade from?"

Devlon: "Huh? Oh, this? This is just a sword handle that was given to me. I channel my energy into it to form a blade."

Elliot: "BROOOOOO! I want one!"

Devlon: "I was thinking I could help you channel energy since it looks like our abilities may be similar."

Elliot: "Can I learn right now?!"

Wendy: "Um, let's finish the simulation first. Since the sim is still running, I assume destroying the bot wasn't the objective."

Devlon: "Right. Maybe this is a rescue mission or something. If that's the case…"

Elliot looks at the baby and nervously scratches his head.

Elliot: "Good thing I didn't kick the little guy too hard, hehehe."

Wendy: "Still can't believe you. Let's just see if we can find some clues where to deliver him."

Wendy turns and walks toward the street, tickling the baby as she walks.

Wendy: "Don't worry. I won't let bad Elliot get you. Isn't dat wight? Ohhh, yu so kyewt!"

Wendy closes her eyes and smiles at the baby. Devlon is walking next to her. Elliot follows behind the both of them.

The baby laughs as Wendy continues to tickle him.

Suddenly, the baby's neck turns beyond what's considered natural and stares at Elliot with emotionless eyes.

Elliot: What the! "Uh, Wendy?"

PAGE 21

Elliot dashes over to reach for the baby, grabbing him out of Wendy's arms. Wendy is taken by surprise.

Elliot: "Nope! Nope!"

Wendy: "Hey! What're you-"

Elliot: "Change of heart! I like babies, now. Lemme hold him real quick! Awww, such a cute little baby. See? He likes me."

Elliot chucks the baby to the other end of the block like a football.

Elliot: "NOPE!"

Devlon and Wendy's eyes pop out of their heads, jaws dropped.

Wendy: "Whaaaaa!!!!"

Devlon: "YOU'VE GONE TOO FAR!"

Elliot: "Bro, that baby is demonic!"

Wendy: HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?!"

In the background, the baby lands in the middle of the street at a distance.

The baby stands up with a straight face.

The baby's eyes glow a bright red and he begins to float.

Devlon: "What in the…is he the boss of this mission?"

Elliot: "See? Demonic!"

PAGE 22

A closer look reveals that the baby isn't levitating, but is being supported by robotic spider legs. There are extra robotic arms coming out of his shoulders. These extra arms split off into other arms, like a tree branch splitting into more branches. Each extra arm is armed with missiles. This baby means business!

Elliot firmly plants his feet and aims a hand at the distant baby.

Elliot: Okay Elliot. Focus.

Wendy: "Uh, what are you doing?"

Elliot: "I gotta learn how to use my ability, right? I'm gonna see if I can blast it."

Devlon moves closer to Wendy as they both give Elliot some room.

Elliot: "Alright. Stand back and watch me work this new ability."

Wendy: "Don't have to tell me twice. I've seen what you do to cars."

Devlon: "I'll back you up if it doesn't work."

PAGE 23

Close up on Elliot's focused eyes.

Elliot: My palms feel different. Is this my power?

A faint energy forms around Elliot's hand as he takes aim.

Elliot: Just focus.

Elliot exhales.

Elliot: Stay calm and

Elliot stands there. Nothing happens.

Elliot: "Uhhh…"

Close up of Elliot as he brings his hand to his face, looking into his palm with frustration.

Elliot: "Why won't this thing WORK?!"

Elliot's eyes widen as a bright light emits from his hand.

Elliot: "Huh?"

A large wave of energy projects from Elliot's hand, engulfing his entire face.

PAGE 24

Elliot falls back and lay still on the ground. Thick smoke rises from his head. The thick smoke masks the gruesome view of Elliot's head.

Devlon: "Did he just… What was he thinking?"

Wendy: "Was he even thinking to begin with? It's like looking into a barrel and pulling the trigger." That idiot!

Scene change. Back on the ground floor with Forte and the others. Chase stands right in front of the monitor that displays a dead Elliot.

Jasmine: "Hahahaha! He's hilarious!"

Chase: "Hold on. Change visuals real quick."

The monitor swaps to the recorded footage of Elliot blasting the military bot back in chapter 1.

Chase: "That fool…is the same one powerful enough to create a blast like that?"

Closer focus on the monitor displaying Elliot shooting the bot.

PAGE 25

Scene shift. The same image of Elliot blasting the bot is displayed on a phone. A mysterious voice is heard.

Voice #1: "So he was an irregular this whole time, huh?"

Voice #2: "Yeah, seems that way."

Voice #3: "Good thing you didn't end up killing him. He could be a great asset to us!"

Female voice: "With a blast like that, you sure he wouldn't be the one killing you, Stone?"

Stone, the man who encountered Elliot at the mall in chapter 1, is seen more clearly now. He stands at six feet. The light-skinned (black) man rubs his goatee as he looks at his phone in a different room at an unknown location. There are a few silhouettes around him who are also looking at their phones.

Female voice: "Besides, I heard the Special Ops already got their claws on him."

Stone: "To think we had one right under our noses? I'll have to slip in and send an invitation."

Voice #4: "No. Let's see how things play out, first."

Stone and the other silhouettes turn to face an individual silhouette standing across from them.

Stone: "Oh, Boss! Didn't hear you come in. I'm curious; why wait?"

Man in the seat: "Patience is key, you know. Just keep an eye on him and the other one for now."

Man in the seat: "We'll meet them soon enough."
