"You see, we have three types of souls," Stanley explained, holding up three fingers.
"First, there's the Normal Soul, that's most of humanity. Then, there's the Soul of Contract, Those are human who make contract with inns. Side note: these people are our enemies, as their contracts allow Inns to cross over into our world. Lastly, we have the Soul of Energy."
"The Soul of Energy are those who have more energy than others and can manipulate it; these people are also called Awakeners."
"Though all humans have energy, as we can't function with energy, but also everyone's body is different, so the level of energy varies from person to person."
"Take Yuri, for example. When she snapped her fingers, it seemed like she moved instantly, right? In reality, she was manipulating her energy and the energy around her to move through the space between you two as an instant teleportation."
"As Energy is all around us humans. for instance, derive energy from food. And where does our food come from?"
"Of course, from everything around us, right?" Stanley smiled as he saw Akin and Kalè starting to understand.
"The same concept applies, more or less, to the Inns, even though our worlds overlaps"
"Our worlds overlaps?" Akin asked, still trying to wrap his mind around the concept.
"Indeed," Stanley continued. "The Inns' world overlaps with ours. It's a reality hidden within ours, an unseen dimension that exists alongside our world."
"The only reason we can sometimes see them is because some Inns emerge in our world through Contracted Souls," he explained. "Or, in rare cases, powerful Inns slip through the cracks in the barriers between our worlds."
Stanley noticed Akin's full attention.
"And here's the spooky part," he added with a mischievous grin. "We can't see their world... but they can see ours—and they can see us too."
The room fell silent, the atmosphere tense.
"Seriously? None of you are scared?" Stanley thought, glancing around at Cara, Akin, and Kalè, who were all looking back at him unimpressed, clearly aware he was trying to unsettle them.
"Quit it, Stan! Nobody here is afraid of the Inns," Cara said, exasperated.
"Really? But there could be an Inn looking right at us right now... and we wouldn't even know," he teased, leaning in with a grin.
"Seriously?" Cara gave him a sharp look.
Stanley faintly chuckled. "Alright, alright—my bad for stirring things up," he said cheerfully.
Meanwhile, Akin felt overwhelmed yet thrilled by the revelation of the Inns' world and the idea that energy within the body could be harnessed for supernatural abilities.
"The hell is this reality of the inns world?!"he thought, clearly bothered.
Stanley interrupted his thoughts.
"The sword you're holding is specially designed to fight the Inns," he explained, gesturing toward Akin's black sword and Kalè's white one.
Turning to Cara, Stanley continued, "Cara, bring your sword over here. Let's use it as an example."
Cara unsheathed her Inns-killer sword, a striking purple blade. Stanley pointed to a small switch on the grip of the sword.
"See this switch? It's used to ignite a flame specifically to combat the Inns. And it's not just any ordinary flame."
At his cue, Cara flicked the switch, and her sword burst into a vivid blaze.
"The more energy you channel into it," Stanley explained, "the hotter it burns. The more intensity it is, the flame change color, to it first form."
" and the more energy you channeled into the first form. it changes into another color called second form, till it intensifying until it reaches its highest form: Hell Blade."
Stanley grinned as he finished, clearly pleased with the revelation.
"For real?!" Akin exclaimed, thrilled as he stared at his black sword.
"Hell Blade? That sounds cool as hell!" Akin's face lit up with excitement, a rush of adrenaline coursing through his body.
"I know, right?!"
Stanley says matching akin's thrilled as the two female looked at them nonchalantly.
"That's the highest form for a inns killing blade, and it can only be achieved after many years of energy accumulation," Stanley concluded.
"And our miss here has already achieved it!" Stanley said cheerfully, glancing at Cara.
"No way!" Akin thought, watching as Cara sheathed her sword.
A woman she deemed quite weak from first sight of just seeing her.
"If she's achieved it, then that means... he, must've achieved his long before her," Akin mused, noticing the contrast between Stanley's cheerful demeanor and Cara's more serious personality. But to Akin's surprise, Kalè spoke what he had been thinking.
"If she achieved hers, then that means you achieved yours long before her," Kalè said coldly, the aura around her making it clear that she wasn't the type to underestimate Stanley.
Stanley smiled at Kalè's words.
"Damn! What the hell is this guy real capability?" Akin thought, glaring at Stanley, who was smiling effortlessly at them.
"And by the way," Stanley continued, his smile never fading, "it's not just the flame swords that are used to fight the Inns."
"As There are Inns of different kinds and levels," Stanley added, his tone shifting slightly.
"Different kinds and levels? So there are some higher powers among the Inns?" Akin asked, taken aback by this new revelation.
"Aren't you aware of this from the start?" Kalè's cold and calm voice interrupted.
"Not at all! I thought they were all the same level!" Akin responded, looking at Kalè.
"Well, thinking back to when that Inn inside Hickson casually defeated Olao... Apparently, that Inn was from another tribe of Inns," Kalè said, her eyes focused on Akin.
Meanwhile, Stanley observed Kalè, a faint smile forming on his face, slightly impressed by her sharpness. "She's certainly right about that."
"Just like how humankind is diverse, so are those creatures," Stanley continued.
"And just as Chief Loyalist said about your friend, the Inn possessing Hickson is none other than Feya," Stanley revealed coldly, a grin forming on his face.
Akin's heart skipped a beat at the mention of Feya, and a chill ran down his spine. Something about the name felt wrong. Kalè also shuddered, remembering the cruelty Feya had shown when inhabiting Hickson's body.
"Feya, huh?!" Akin thought, his heart burning with rage.
"Hold your horses now. Don't go into anger mode just yet," Stanley teased, still smiling.
"Excuse me, but is there more than one Feya?" Kalè asked, hoping it wasn't the Feya she thought it was, which she has been convincing herself it not as the Feya she was told was a long ago inns, an inns into history.
Stanley noticed the concern on Kalè's face and smiled knowingly.
"It's the one and only Feya. The well-known and most powerful of all the Inn Kings, the 97th-generation father of the entire Inn race!" Stanley's gaze turned cold.
"The hell!"
Akin exclaimed in shock.
"Though I was told not to reveal this to you," Stanley thought, observing the shock on Akin and Kalè's faces.
"But it's good to know who you're up against if you plan on helping your friend,"
