DECLAN POV
I was in a happy mood as I got home.
I was no longer angry, turned out fighting and hanging out with Rhea had successfully depleted my anger.
Lily was coming towards the front door. She paused when she saw me.
"Good evening Sir."
I frowned.
"Sir, what do you mean? Since when did you start calling me sir?" I asked her.
"Maybe since you made it clear that if I didn't obey you, my privileges would be cut off."
"Lily, I was just angry yesterday, I didn't mean those words," I told her.
"No, it was important you told me so I could know your place in your life."
"Lily, I think you are just being dramatic. You did something wrong. I scolded you, but that doesn't mean you need to start behaving like this."
"I have heard you, sir. Can I leave now?" she asked, looking bored.
"How dare you talk to your brother that way Lily?" our father asked.
I hadn't even noticed when he had walked up to us.
