The next day....
"I can't believe that asshole." Stefan rushed into my office.
"and a good morning to you too brother, what has your feathers all ruffled up?"
"Your precious Declan who you were defending, do you know what he has done?" he asked me.
"What did he do?" I asked warily.
Zara entered my office too.
"Daisy, you should see this." she handed her tablet to me.
It was a livestream video; Declan was holding a press conference.
He had made a new revolutionary software.
The idea behind it was brilliant and wonderful.
It was an AI that merged with the body and consciousness.
Wow! I wasn't surprised, though; Declan had always been brilliant.
With the way his company had been in the red, it wasn't surprising that he would come up with something new.
But why now? He chose to disclose this when we had a pending scandal on our hands.
