Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Triplet Alphas: Her Destined Mates.

Chapter 1

Naya's point of view

I stared out of the window barrier, while my vision navigated through the pale blue sky spread across the horizon.

I waited patiently, a subtle feeling of joy beneath my heart as I anticipate dearly for it. The best part of my mornings.

My room was a perfect place for the daily routine. A wide smile broke on my face the moment the color blossomed, the orange visual of tint padding the east side of the sky as the big round ball of sun slowly came to view.

The grin on my lips stretched wider. My gaze glued to the sky, where the luminous celestial body of the sun was slowly shaping it full-size into view.

I just love seeing the sun rise, this has been me since I was a kid. I remember always doing it with my mother and my father both at my sides, up till I became eight years old and I lost my father.

I started watching it alone, my mother without any specific reason stopped watching it with me; I'd say because it reminded her of her husband.

A knock came upon my door, interrupting my solitude moment with the sky. I ignored not wanting a disruption to the moment.

The door opened not on my order, and taking a glance at who opened my gaze met with my mother's.

"Good morning mom. Quick join me, the sun is rising, and the beauty is different this morning." I beckoned, returning my gaze back to the sky, leaving a smile on my face.

"King Simon proposed to me yesterday, he wants me to become his Luna." I heard her voice announced a response, not moving an inch from where she stood.

The unexpected statement breaking the urge to keep my eyes glued to the sky and having them snapped back to her to read rather her words were of joke or for real.

Nothing funny was on her face except the seriousness backing her words.

"What!" I exclaimed with a squeezed face and a slightly parted lips, I found the news amusing to the ears not only because it is, but that my mother was actually announcing it.

Both party met when? Was it not two months ago. How did they fall in love? When did they fall in love?

"And what was your response?" I asked, not jumping yet into the conclusion that both wanted it.

My mother fell silent, stepping further into the room as she took a seat over my bed. Her curled palms in her thigh went up, beckoning me to come ove.

I forced my movements to heed her calling, sifting over from the window I was to her side. She took my hand into hers, gently squeezing it and passing down a warmth connection.

"I know you love our simple life here." She began, keeping my gaze focused on her soft pupils that held a light reflection of her desire. Through our eyes, I already have a guess that she accepted the King's proposal.

"The way everything is-"

"You accepted his proposal didn't you?" I cut her off her potentially long speech, wanting her to confirm my assumption quicker than she would.

"Yes Naya, yes. I know this is my fault and is so sudden, but I couldn't help the attraction. You should know that I tried stopping it, I pushed him away, but he was persistent and my feelings only grew stronger or worse. At a point, I gave in, I succumbed to the attraction and let him into my heart." She spoke softly, vividly explaining to me things I really do not want to know.

I don't like who her suitor is, he is the Alpha King. His wife or previous Luna died a year ago, and rumor has it then the King was cheating on his queen with a low class widow. A widow that is my mother who also lost her husband a year ago too, months before the Queen's demise.

The rumor centered around my family and it got us into some royal scandal, my father died a year ago too. And my mom replaced him in the palace, taking up his physician position with the King.

That was how my mother met him, Alpha King Adrien. He had my mother in care of his sick wife, and my mom did all she could to save the woman but all for her sickness to prevail.

Mom was generally an empathetic woman, she had offered her shoulder for the Alpha King to lean and mourn on.

That became the genesis of their relationship, and rumor broke out months ago, but it was never confirmed.

This rumor had me and mom riding a hate train, a lot of people thought my mom killed her husband and the king's wife, and they simply hated me for being her daughter.

The King himself had to shut down the rumor, but I personally already knew something was going on between him and my mother.

I confronted my mother, but she denied it my accusations, went as far as promising todistance herself from the King because it's beginning to affect our lives.

My mom honored her promise, she quit her job as the royal healer, and started a small business inside the pack.

But the King just wouldn't leave us alone, that's how I hated him. For someone who was suppose to be in love with his now dead wife, it sure as hell doesn't look like it.

He pined for my mom till he eventually got to her, and now there is a royal wedding coming up between him and her.

"So what do you have to say?" She asked, after a long while of silence.

What I have to say is she renounced her proposal acceptance. I thought she loved my dad, they were soulmates, and a year later she's in love with someone else.

I forced a little smile, unable to take off my supportive daughter mask. I hated what she's doing, but she's been through a lot to get negativity from me.

"Whatever you want to do mom, definitely fine by me." I forced the words out of my mouth, meaning the total opposite.

She curved a large grin at my response, glee sparking up her expression as she pulled me into a warm hug.

My arms stayed put without returning the hug, settling with the fact that my life is about to change, our lives is about to really change.

"Great, now that you've accept we can proceed with the wedding. I told him to hold it off because of you, I needed your approval, and now that have gotten it. We can move on." She pulled away, speaking into my ears as she pushed to her feet.

"Mom you do know that a lot of people in this pack are not going to like you for doing this or accept you as their queen. We already went through what it is going to be like, are you sure this is what you want to do?" I couldn't help myself asking, did she not went through the whole thing with me.

Our home was constantly stoned with eggs, I was constantly bullied for being her daughter. A lot of offensive terms were used to address her. Such as, The Slut's daughter, and many more.

They went as far as sneaking wolfsbane into our home, but luckily I could sniff it out before my mom got home and it would attack her.

I'm immune to wolfsbane, the weird thing about me I discovered when I got my wolf at the age of sixteen.

"Don't worry, Adrien has it all covered. Nothing is going to happen to us, we're going to be fine this time." She assured, flashing me another smile before walking out of the room.

I gaped into the silence, letting my mind played into my reality.

My mom is marring the Alpha King, and becoming his queen. What does that make me? A mere citizen, his stepdaughter for sure, but a princess?

I don't know much about the royal family, but I do know the king has three sons, and they were triplets. I have never seen any of them, or know what they look like.

They came into the pack when their mother died, but I never visited the funeral.

Yes she was my Luna, but crowds are bane I don't tolerate well enough. I wished her my good wishes at the comfort of my house, and the rest did the same at the funeral.

I have no friends, my father and mother were my best friend growing up and when I lost my father, a part of me died with him. But he will always be alive in my heart.

Suddenly my heart tightened, a pain from nowhere bursted from the heart, spreading out into my system and I found my inside knotting.

I gasped out in agony, unable to scream. The pain intensified, and I could only try containing it because I have no idea what's causing it. It's happening again.

My head rang, and my eyes widened to the pain. An eldritch gleam shunned from my pupils before they slipped into darkness.Â
