Chapter 6
Naya's point of view
My eyes opened, squinting close immediately at the blinding brightness of my environment. I reopened more gently to study my surroundings.
I looked around, it looks as though I was facing upward that had me realizing I was laid on my back.
I groaned, trying to sit up for a better inspection, however my effort simply nulled out. My muscles feeling drained, the same with my entire system.
"Stand up!" A soft, melodious voice whispered the command, and at once, heeding to her words. I rose to my feet, confused on where the strength came from.
Once on my feet, my instinct had me looking around, wanting a better grasp of my surroundings.
Wherever I am at the moment doesn't look anything like a room from the palace, rather like a place existing in dreamland.
A pure spotless whitish scenery, endless in range and in space, like an oblivion. Where was I? Was I dreaming? Or just dead.
I stood somewhere at the middle, alone, lightheaded and befuddled with the cryptic reality.
"You seem confused," the gentle melodious voice jolted into my ears once again, nowhere to be seen, rather speaking through the air.
"Hello?" I beamed out to the silent space, continuously looking around Incase a presence was to appear from behind or somewhere.
"Is anybody here? Please where am I? What's going on? Am I dead? Is this heaven?" I bombarded the silence, hoping the mysterious voice would shine lights on my confusions.
"A bodily interaction between us will not be necessary, I have nothing but just an admonishment to pass. And your existence lives on in the mortal realm."
I was a bit clouded at the wording of her sentence, but I comprehend after a much deeper reading into the words.
"So why am I here?" I conversed with the invisible force, wanting our interaction to be done and over with. I still have a wedding ceremony to attend, a shady Alpha King to suspect, and lastly, my three cursed mates.
There's a lot going on in my acclaimed normal life, a lot that doesn't at all categorized under normal.
"Be wary of the shadows looming over in form of lovers, they held in their possession The Great Sword Of Damocles. Many are to be suspected, few is to be trusted. Do not get swept under the gathering storms!" The voice thundered, in contrast to it usual soft and sweet output.
The already white room began intensifying in brightness, so bright I was forced into flappy my lids close in protection of my orbs so they wouldn't blind.
"Mate!"
My eyes opened at the call made by the familair voice, I glanced around instantly to see I have switched reality. Wasn't I just standing in an oblivion a second ago, now I'm back in a room. A room that actually looks like a room.
The voice's words from the oblivion echoed through my mind. I should be wary of shadows. Many are to be suspected, few is to be trusted.
Those were deep words right there.
I was laid on a bed, with heels on thankfully. "How long was I out?" I looked to the face of the one sitting below me, asking him.
My eyes dug into his appearance, come to think of it. I just knew of the Alpha Princes, I have actually never seen them before.
I didn't know one of them could be this attractive, there was only one with me inside the room.
"Are you okay?"
Didn't take long for me to figure out it was the grumpy one that stayed, his bored gaze, plain facial expression, all suiting his rough voice.
"I'm fine," I answered, quite softly, unable to take my eyes off him. Reviewing his attractiveness, his lush jet black hair crowned his head perfectly with a side swept bang on the left side, his golden orbs locks blankly on mine, like a robot. He has the perfect stubble, considering he was locked up in a prison and has no time for shaving.
The stubble suited his sharp and defined jaw area to well, and a small pinkish lips below his long, straight and pointed nose.
He is one hell of a good looking man.
"I'm Naya by name, so what are we doing here? How long was I out? How did you guys get out of your prisons with me too? Where are your brothers?" I sat up, throwing multiple questions out to him.
"Also maybe you'd be willing to talk about how you guys are cursed and locked up?" I added, still waiting on his response.
He kept staring at me, saying nothing or even acknowledging my questions. Is he that weird?
I have heard a lot of things about the Alpha Princes, how they were the hottest moon goddess' creatures. I haven't seen the others yet, but the one in front of me just validated the rumor.
He just might be the hottest man I've ever seen with my eyes.
"I don't talk too much. Are you in contact with your wolf?" He voiced finally. However, ignoring all my questions to ask his.
I scoffed, "I'm not answering you if you can't answer my questions." I told him, folding my arms to show how serious I am.
He sighed, "I'm glad you're okay," he said, rising to his feet and walking straight out of the room.
My brows raised at nothing. He is definitely one hell of a misunderstood human.
I got off the bed. Wait this is my room? How were they able to find my room? Or am I dreaming even? Cause everything isn't seeming right still?
I know the way to the hall where the wedding is getting held. I don't know how long I was out, but I hope it wasn't too long and the wedding is still ongoing.
I fastened my pace, rushing down the hallways. Finally I approached the hall's entrance, the doors were opened and two guards were stationed at the front.
I could see from my distance how filled up the hall was, I made it in, going straight to the front, near the decorated alter.
"Ms Naya, where have you been? Please follow me." A maid stopped on my path, gripping my wrist as she dragged me away.
She led me to a table on the alter; but on the left side, behind the table were four seats, three of which are occupied. She pointed at the fourth and only vacant seats for me to go sit.
I stood rooted to my feet however, because the strangers occupying the three seats before mine weren't strangers, rather the Alpha Princes.
What exactly is going on?
I glanced at the center area of the alter, just to see the Alpha King inserting a ring on my mom's finger.
