Ashwin stepped out of the OT, and Dr. Oakley asked, "Mr. Oberoi, we need A-positive blood. Can you donate?"
Upon hearing the doctor's words, Ashwin and Vivian's faces filled with concern, remembering the alcohol they had consumed the previous night. How could they donate blood to Eadhvash now?
Ashwin reassured the doctor, "Don't worry about the blood; just save my son." He then walked away, phone in hand.
As Ashwin descended the stairs, he collided with an oncoming girl. Neither Ashwin nor the girl could balance themselves, and they both fell to the ground. The girl landed beneath Ashwin, their lips touching in the chaos. Their eyes widened in surprise.
The girl quickly pushed Ashwin aside and rushed upstairs. Ashwin remained stunned on the ground until a passerby asked, "Sir, are you okay? Why are you lying down?"
Regaining his composure, Ashwin stood up and continued outside.
Meanwhile, the girl, Sindhya, hastened upstairs. A nurse intercepted her, saying, "Sindhya, thankfully you're here. A patient needs your blood type, which we can't seem to find. Will you donate?"
Sindhya agreed, inquiring about the patient's condition. The nurse explained, "He's a four-year-old boy involved in a car accident. He lost a lot of blood, but timely arrival saved his life."
Sindhya proceeded to the OT, where her blood was transfused to Eadhvash.
Outside, Ashwin arranged for blood, and soon a nurse informed him, "Mr. Oberoi, the blood arrangement is done. Your son is out of danger and will be shifted to the VIP ward shortly."
Relieved, Ashwin asked, "Who donated the blood? May I know their name?"
The nurse replied, "It's the Dean's daughter. She donated the blood."
Two hours later, in the VIP ward, Eadhvash lay on a large bed, looking adorable with his fair skin, dark hair, and pink lips. Ashwin entered, dressed in white and blue, and gently stroked Eadhvash's hair.
Eadhvash's eyes opened, and his dark blue gaze captivated Ashwin. In a soft, loving voice, Eadhvash said, "Dad."
Ashwin sat beside him, asking, "What happened, son? Does it hurt anywhere?"
Eadhvash pointed to his head and hand, saying, "Dad, Eadhvash got hurt."
Ashwin reassured him, smiling, "Don't worry, we'll fix it soon. You won't feel pain."
Eadhvash smiled weakly and reached out to Ashwin, who lifted him into his arms.
As Ashwin held Eadhvash, the boy asked, "Dad, when will Eadhvash go home?"
Ashwin replied, "Soon, son. The doctor will check, and then we'll leave."
During the doctor's visit, Ashwin inquired about the blood donor. The doctor revealed, "She's the Dean's daughter, Sindhya. She works in a company."
Surprised, Ashwin asked, "The Dean's daughter works? That's hard to believe."
The doctor chuckled, "Sindhya is multi-talented – skilled in art, nursing, technology, marketing, and more."
Ashwin wondered, "So, her name is Sindhya..."
To be continued.
