Ashwin gazed at Sindhya, who had remarkably become close to his children in just one meeting. He pondered, "Who is this girl? She's incredibly affectionate with my kids."
Sindhya sat between Ashwika and Eidhans, laughing and responding to Ashwika's nonsensical conversations. Ashwin sat on a nearby sofa, reading the newspaper and observing them. He couldn't help but notice how naturally Sindhya connected with his children.
Just then, Reema emerged from her room, adjusting her clothes, and asked a servant to bring her a honey drink. Ashwin interrupted, his deep voice stern, "You're not the queen here, giving orders. What are you even doing in my house?"
Reema trembled, her voice barely audible, "Dadi said... for Eidhans' care..." Eidhans promptly corrected her, "Don't call me Eidhans." Ashwin scolded Eidhans, "Behave, don't talk like that. I've told you before."
Reema smiled awkwardly and apologized. Ashwin's expression softened slightly. He went to his study room, handling office work from home due to Eidhans' condition.
Later, a shiny car arrived outside the mansion. A 50-year-old woman, laden with jewelry, stepped out. She gazed at the mansion and thought, "This should be mine, but I'm always a guest here. I won't stay a guest for long; I'll become its owner."
The woman, Gungun, Ashwin's aunt, entered and saw Ashwika building a bridge with blocks. Gungun smiled and asked, "Ole my baby, what are you doing? Come to Dadi." Ashwika smiled and replied, "Dadi, how are you?" Gungun smiled back, her eyes sparkling.
Gungun's arrival was met with mixed reactions. Dadi wasn't overly pleased but hid her feelings. Gungun asked Dadi about Reema, "Who is she?" Dadi replied, "Eidhans' caretaker." Gungun inquired about Eidhans' accident, and Dadi explained.
Gungun grew angry, her voice rising, "Why didn't you inform us? You've made us strangers." Dadi apologized, explaining the circumstances. Gungun asked to see Eidhans. Sindhya brought Eidhans downstairs, and Gungun inquired about Sindhya's identity.
Dadi introduced Sindhya as Eidhans' nurse and caretaker. Gungun's eyes widened in surprise, "She's stunning. Is she also a caretaker?" Ashwika chimed in, "Mamma, look what I made!" showing Sindhya her block bridge.
Gungun's gaze lingered on Sindhya, her expression unreadable. Dadi invited Gungun to sit, offering refreshments. As they chatted, Reema hovered nearby, trying to impress Gungun with flattery.
Gungun, pleased with Reema's attention, inquired about Ashwin's well-being. Dadi shared updates on his business and personal life. Gungun listened intently, her mind racing with strategies.
As the conversation flowed, Ashwin reappeared, observing his aunt's intentions. He sensed Gungun's hidden agenda but chose to remain silent, for now.
Meanwhile, Sindhya engaged Eidhans in playful activities, effortlessly capturing his attention. Ashwika joined in, and the trio laughed together, creating a warm atmosphere.
Gungun watched, her expression softening. Perhaps, she thought, this family isn't as estranged as I assumed.
As the evening unfolded, Ashwin's household buzzed with activity. Gungun's presence stirred old dynamics, and new relationships began to unfold.
