Ashwin let the children go, and they walked towards their grandparents with unsteady steps, shouting, "Dada, Dada!" Their sweet voices echoed through the mansion, filling the previously empty space.
Ashwika clung to Grandfather Oberoi's legs and smiled, showing her tiny teeth. Idhansh went to Grandmother Oberoi.
Grandmother Oberoi exclaimed, "Ashwin, this boy looks just like you! He's your miniature version, but his nose isn't like yours."
Grandfather Oberoi said, "This girl has Ashwin's blue eyes, but her face resembles her mother's... perhaps. Who is their mother, Ashwin?"
Ashwin shrugged. "I don't know."
Grandfather and Grandmother Oberoi were stunned.
Ashwin nodded and said, "Yes, I don't know who their mother is."
He walked away, leaving his children, parents, and friend staring after him.
Ashwin's room was luxurious and comfortable, customized to his taste. He showered and changed into casual clothes.
Downstairs, Ashwika ran around, laughing, while Vivan chased her. Idhansh sat with Grandfather Oberoi, watching.
Ashwin joined them, picking up Ashwika and sitting on the sofa with Idhansh.
"Vivan, get the best clothes, toys, and essentials for my kids," Ashwin instructed.
Vivan looked at Ashwin, nodded, and left.
Ashwin noticed his pants were wet and saw Ashwika smiling at him.
He sighed, "Oh no, not again!"
Meanwhile, on Mumbai's streets, 20-25 cars sped by. A motorcyclist asked a nearby policeman, "Are some ministers visiting? Why so many cars?"
The policeman replied, "That's Ashwin Oberoi's convoy. His child was in an accident and is being taken to the hospital."
The motorcyclist exclaimed, "A child? But Ashwin is a bachelor! He doesn't have a girlfriend, let alone a child!"
The policeman explained, "The child's mother is unknown. Ashwin suddenly gained custody."
The motorcyclist rode off, puzzled.
At Lifeline Hospital, a 4-year-old boy lay on a stretcher, bleeding and unconscious. Ashwin, worried and dressed in a blood-stained shirt, accompanied the stretcher.
In the OT, Ashwin anxiously watched the lights.
Vivan approached, and Ashwin hugged him, saying, "My child!"
Ashwin's expression turned fierce. "I won't spare the person who targeted my family."
The doctor emerged, requesting A-positive blood.
Ashwin and Vivan exchanged worried glances, having consumed alcohol the previous night.
Ashwin assured the doctor, "Don't worry, the blood will arrive. Just save my son."
As Ashwin went downstairs, he collided with a girl, and they both fell.
Their lips touched, and their eyes widened in surprise.
To be continued.
