In the Kyushu continent, a person's fate is determined by their cultivation. The strong dominate the weak. In the remote area of the Kyushu universe, Barren County exists as part of the eastern continent. The cultivation realms divide into the body refining realm,meridian condensation realm,Qi-condensation realm, Jindan realm, and spiritual sea realm, with each realm further divided into 10 levels. The top families in barren county are Lin family,Song Family,Tang,Bai family.
In Lin family training courtyard was a 17 year old kid training.While he was training a group of people headed by a young man came ."Isn't it the trash of the Lin family" said Linbai. Hearing it the young man was angry but he remained silent and kept practising.His name is Linfei.
Linfei was the once the genius of the family. He cultivated body refining level 10 at the age 15 and was the pride of the Lin family and highly praised all over and was the hope and expectation from all over the barren county to win first place in the annual festival to be conducted .But during an accident he got crippled and his life crashed down from genius to trash and people who praised him started bullying and humiliating him ,showing true colours when he got crippled.
Linbai was one of the people who followed Linfei .But when he got crippled he started bullying along with his followers."Whats the use of training.He is nothing but a cripple who cant cultivate anymore"laughed minions along with Linbai and they walked away.
