Next morning he ventured deep into the jungle but an arrow traversed towards him and at the last moment linfei evaded it but it still caused injury. When he found where the arrow came from, he noticed an evil middle aged man with bow and arrow.
As many people explore the jungle, there are people who kill others and make a fortune. And this middle-aged guy is one of them. Seeing a young guy travelling alone inside the jungle, he marked him as a target and shot the arrow, but it missed and he was exposed.
Linfei moved fast and punched the middle-aged man in close combat, which he dint prepare for so he got punched, but he took a knife and started swinging towards linfei. He evaded the knife trajectory and as the knife was aiming for the vital points, I.e. he was going for the kill.While evading linfei swinged his knife and fought against him and as the fight was getting intense and his energy was getting consumed during the fight.
Linfei has not experienced killing humans but as it was a life and death situation, he moved faster and plunged the knife he carried with his supplies into the middle-aged mans throat. Holding his throat in disbelief, he died.
Linfei felt nausea as it is his first time killing a person, but after some time he was back to normal and explored the supplies of the middle-aged man. He found bow and arrows, knife, herbs, animal skin and some silver coins with him. He collected it and moved, as the smell of blood will attract wild animals.
