"Perhaps it won't be necessary" Nolan sighed seeing a particularly skinny man on the edge of passing out.
"The delegation from the heavenly clan~" He spoke but was cute off by a tone full of contempt.
"We don't need them" Nolan looked up at his wife and saw the sneer that looked as if she was born with it.
"Yes we do" He matched her gaze unaffected but the expression that would send fear into the heart of any man on the kingdom.
"You don't believe in me?" Victoria spoke after a couple of seconds and Nolan could hear a hint of sadness that she tried to hide.
"I believe in you more than anything" He smiled softly and uncrossed his arms taking his wife's hands that were so soft despite years on the battle field.
"But the empire isn't something you can fight alone" Nolan ran his thumb along the back of Victorias hand.
"And I can't stomach seeing you get hurt" He gave her a look of love and watched as his wife's cheeks tinted pink.
Victoria was a fearsome general who ravaged every battle field she fought on, Yet this bashful appearance was only reserved for him. The thought made him feel proud as he leaned forward. Victoria blushed even more but didn't resist as their lips met in a soft and gentle kiss, Their lips meshed together slowly as if savoring each other.
Unlike his other wife's Victoria was almost a foot taller than Nolan forcing him to tilt his head toward. It felt slightly embarrassing and erotic at the same time as the sweet scent of lavender filled his nose, Combined with the sweet taste of her salvia left Nolan feeling hazy.
"S~sweetheart" Victoria breath wasn't even labored despite how long their lips had met but her face was flushed.
"I'll leave you to your…training" Nolan was going to say torture but held himself back.
"Must you leave so soon?" He saw Victoria's furrowed eyebrows and became reluctant to leave.
"I need to see how Eden's trail went" Unfortunately he needed to know how the case involving one of the nobles went.
"…Fine" Victoria pretended not to care but a pout found its way onto her heart shaped lips.
"Stop pouting we'll see each other tonight" Nolan laughed and pulled away from her giving the soldiers one last look.
'….You got this' He said mentally in his head while feeling slightly guilty that he was leaving them at his wife's mercy.

Eden's finger glided over the thin sheet of paper, her gaze sharp as she ensured no detail had been overlooked. She repeated the motion several times, her diligence demanding absolute certainty. Her long flowing azure hair was neatly tied in a bun and a pair of glasses perched on her button nose protecting her eyes from strain after hours of meticulous work.
"Mark the case file as completed" Eden commanded and her secretary who standing respectfully with her hands clasped behind her back gave a nod.
"Yes high Judge" The secretary grabbed the file off the table and was about to ask a question when a sudden voice cut through the air like a blade.
"High judge!" The young woman flinched and quickly looked toward the queen only to see her with a passive expression.
"Go put the file in the vault" Eden gestured for her to leave while looking toward the door of her office.
"…Yes high Judge" The secretary walked behind Eden where a second exit was located and left swiftly.
"You can't be serious!" The door swung open slamming against the wall hard enough to almost loosen its hinges.
"Marquee Byron " Eden calmly looked at the middle aged who had stormed into her office.
His face red with rage almost matching the scarlet trim of his gaudy noble attire. Different jewels were on each of his fat finger and his mustache twitched as his overstuffed belly strained against the buttons of his silk shirt. He already wasn't pleasant to look at but his contorted features were even more unflattering.
