Earlier that day
"This might not be a good idea ma'am." Zach, Brooklyn's driver complained.
"Don't worry Zach. I'll be fine." Brooklyn closed the car door. She pressed on the gas as she drove herself out of the underground garage of Crystal art gallery.
It had been a while since she drove the car herself. Brooklyn giggled, loving the feeling of speeding through the now quiet roads of the city. It was now midnight.
Suddenly, there was a scratching static sound as the radio channels started changing one by one on their own. Brooklyn was confused as she tried turning the radio off from the touch screen.
Brooklyn gasped for air as someone from behind her chair strangled her neck. The scene was all too familiar for her. She tried to maintain her composure but all that was thrown out the window as blinding lights were quickly approaching her car.
In the bid to try and free herself from being strangle further, Brooklyn's car had swerved to to the other lane with oncoming traffic.
Honk! Honk!
Crash.
The Black Ferrari had collided with the oncoming heavy duty truck. The Lexus tumbled in the air a few times before landing on the tarred road upside down. The once brand new Ferrari was just a shell of what it used to be a few minutes back.
Because the heavy duty truck didn't break too soon after hitting Brooklyn's Ferrari, it also hit other cars that also collided with other cars. In the end, there were a lot of casualties on the highway.
In no time, the ambulances were at the accident scene. Brooklyn was quickly helped out of the crashed car onto the stretcher. Her body was battered with several wounds, her body all bloody.
When they rescued Brooklyn, she was alone.
